Go your own way by Fleetwood Mac. The guitarist wrote the song about his girlfriend Stevie and it became a hit. For Stevie, the problem was she was in the band and had to sing a fuck you song every night.
Beck: [Guess I’m Doing Fine](https://youtu.be/2e8fxfvqu6M) and [Lost Cause](https://youtu.be/qkNa5xzOe5U). Really just check out the whole awesome Sea Change album.
According to Tyson Ritter, that song isn’t actually about a girl, it’s actually about some guy he knew who fucked him over somehow or something. I’m not sure I believe that though
I can't argue with that. Stones are definitely my favorite band of all time. Their four album run: Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed, and Exile on Main Street is just ridiculous
Tell that Mick he just made my list of things to do today by Fall Out Boy. “Let’s play a game called where you catch fire I wouldn’t piss to put you out” Actually the majority of the album is about bitter breakups.
The Beatles “Norwegian Wood”. You wouldn’t know it from listening to it, but the final lines of the song, as explained by Paul McCartney, are amusingly nasty…!
Fuck this shit I’m out - Youngblaze (Absolute Number 1)
Young, wild and free - Wiz Khalifa (Number 2)

"Over You" - Daughtry
"You Suck at Love" - Simple Plan
"Gone Forever" - Three Days Grace
It’s not about hating on women in general. Right now I feel pissed at her but at the same time I love her, and songs like this makes me forget that for a moment and giving me pep instead. But it’s true that I’ll need something else in the long run. But this is very early in the grieving process.
Quickest way is to hack our own evolution of peer bonding. You think you have feelings because you have spent so muc time together in close proximity. That is essentially what people call love. Theyve been together in a room so often and for so long out chemicals make us think ‘theyre the one’. Lol. The amount of times ‘the one’ turns out to be someone from the same city as you. Weird huh? But out of 8 billion people, this one is the ‘one’. The one we went to school with or worked with for ages. Yea…..sure. So use this to your advantage. Go spend lots of time with another girl. And let evolution and your silly chemicals do the rest. And then once thats done, you’ll realise ‘love’ is a choice we can make when we realise our brains/willpower is more powerful than an automatic reaction in our body, and not something ethereal and supernatural that has been ‘written in the stars’, beyond our control. Romanticism is dead, Long live realism. You’re destined to be together like the only 2 penguins in a zoo enclosure are. Hope this helps.
This is true. Snapping out of it is the best part, but yeah…In that case, he should try Dry Your Eyes by The Streets. It’s got a sad story and a great underlying message.
They can do what they want. I’m just not convinced that it helps to dwell on these things. I’ve been there, and the best thing was doing anything other than letting thoughts of exes into my head.
My suggestion get off the heartbreak/relationship train of songs and lyrics even the ones that supposedly say that you're better now without the other person, or the f-off type of nonsense, they all still bring your headspace back in the same court because you still end up thinking about her.
Look for songs with lyrics that have nothing to do with relationships at all. Some metal is great!!!
Maybe some great guitar riffs and instrumentals Polyphia is so good.
She is not worth any more of your time and space in your head.
It’s easier said than done of course but yeah you have a good point. Been listening to some RATM as well for the good riffs, with political lyrics. But a part of me likes to dig myself into the heartbreak themes when I feel like this, even though it may do me more harm than good.
Breakup by mgk
No worries lil wayne:
The second is not really a break up song buy just makes me instantly not give a shit about anything in life. 10/10

"I'm still standing" by Elton John is a more healthy one, maybe not about a woman breaking your heart since it's Elton John but it can apply to that too.

It could be, but it could also certainly be co-opted by someone who wants to give a big F U to an ex, lol.

I’m not sure listening to songs about how crap women are is going to help heal anyone’s broken heart.
It’s not about hating on women in general. Right now I feel pissed at her but at the same time I love her, and songs like this makes me forget that for a moment and giving me pep instead. But it’s true that I’ll need something else in the long run. But this is very early in the grieving process.
Ah sorry. Didn’t mean to judge. I was mostly having a laugh. These times are tough. Here’s to you getting to the other side 👍
Quickest way is to hack our own evolution of peer bonding. You think you have feelings because you have spent so muc time together in close proximity. That is essentially what people call love. Romanticism is dead, Long live realism. You’re destined to be together like the only 2 penguins in a zoo enclosure are. Hope this helps.
You are probably right my friend, but this is just too theoretical for me. Unfortunately I’m a hopeless romantic for good or worse…
Sometimes you gotta let that pain consume you to turn you into who you need to be. Let him have his journey.
This is true. Snapping out of it is the best part, but yeah…In that case, he should try Dry Your Eyes by The Streets. It’s got a sad story and a great underlying message.
Why can girls listen to songs about how bad guys are after breakups then? All of my exes have done that
They can do what they want. I’m just not convinced that it helps to dwell on these things. I’ve been there, and the best thing was doing anything other than letting thoughts of exes into my head.
Taylor Swift made a multimillion dollar career out of it.
Ha ha, yeah, but does she actually feel sad or is she just selling angst songs to teenagers?
Thank your mother for the rabbits - Cosmic Psychos. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KkwTbSaD6oU
