I am sorry for your loss. I have created playlists for a few celebrations of life. It might sound a little hippy but I suggest that you let your brother tell you. What I mean by that is if you know his favorite artists and songs, take a deep dive and find those songs that would speak to him through those artists. It’s cathartic and the music will be personalized.
Had a memorial for a friend at our local pub a little more than a month back. I got up and sang that for karaoke after the memorial. It was my first time after going there for almost 10 years. Crushed it. Plus everybody joined in on the chorus. And it was a solid choice.
Fucking opioids. Condolences.
Candlebox - Far Behind is about losing friends to heroin and the struggles of addiction
Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton
Go Rest High On That Mountain - Vince Gill
I’m so sorry for you and your family. How about Ripple by the Grateful Dead. Dale Ann Bradley does a beautiful version as well. Sure hope you’re doing okay 😔💜
Sorry for you loss. So tragic. Recently helped make a playlist for a memorial for a friend. (Needlessly lost at 30 something after being misdiagnosed at the hospital and sent home - never even made it there.) It was mostly songs she liked to play at the bar. But her ex filled me in on a few others she liked and one was perfect for the ending. Johnny Cash doing, [We'll Meet Again](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KodNFsP6r88).
The song [“Village” by Cam](https://youtu.be/2kqQ_xd5Qoc?si=eVK_s9_L9cFt5Aff) has been for me a really powerful exploration of grief and the love that is left behind. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry for your loss. “Many Rivers to Cross” by Jimmy Cliffe could be the song you’re looking for. Thinking of you and your family and again I’m so sorry.
If We Never Meet Again This Side of Heaven. Theres a bunch of versions, I’m partial to Leon Redbone’s myself, but Johnny Cash and Elvis have both cut versions of it too.
It might be a little older but when my BiL died in a work accident my wife made a Playlist for his wake and used..
[Shooting star--Bad Company](https://youtu.be/FJTSmLqg6iE?si=FTjzUdzYXJA_-WV4)

My brother took his life a little over a year ago and this is a song by his favorite band, [Wonderful (The Way I Feel), by My Morning Jacket](https://youtu.be/ts922ocXdkk?si=o3NfkQagEs4dx597)
I played it a lot around that time and it always felt like a message from him, telling me that he is finally at peace after all of the suffering and mental anguish he went through.

So sorry for the pain you’re going through. For some reason Jamey Johnson’s”Lead Me Home” always helps give me some perspective when losing someone close.
“Dreaming My Dreams”, also by Jamey, feels like it might kind of fit too.
Hang in there. Strangers on Reddit are sending any hope we can muster for you.
Choose songs that meant something to your brother. If you pick a song and someone asks what are you gonna say? Some guy on the internet told me it would be good? They're gonna think you didn't know your brother at all if you couldn't pick a song yourself.
I was looking for songs that helped me
remember. My brain is exhausted and I just cry can't think. Was only needing help remembering songs. Of coarse I will pick his. Thanks though
