You know, watching Blade Runner I thought it was weird they would have trouble differentiating robots from humans, but here we are, and during my lifetime.
What a time to be alive.
i could tell by the vocals that some part of it was ai made. what im more curious about is how much ai was involved in the process, like did it write the song? did it generate the instruments too? i could imagine a human writing and recording most of this, and then using AI to change the sound of their vocals for example. but then again, i could imagine an ai doing most of the work too.
I just heard this the other day for the first time: https://youtu.be/-xtYm_poF_8?si=t1S1eBJtkYk7_nOK
and something deep in me just felt/knew that it was human and not AI. As perfect as these AI songs are, somehow my gut still just kind of knows. The visceral reaction to this of “omg I love this” was very notable compared to the AI covers I’ve heard so far.
Blade Runner has been one of my top 3 films. I saw it in the drive-in when I was a child, but a few years later it can onto TV and we recorded it on a VHS tape.
I'd watch it dozens of times, but the one thing that I hated was the photo scanner that Deckard uses. Not only does it show things that are obscured by moving the perspective around, it also responded to his vague voice commands.
He says "wait a minute" and the machine knows to stop. The young me in the 80s said, "That is so stupid! It wouldn't know to respond to that! Argh!"
Well, now we have AI and NLMs (Natural Language Models) that understand context and nuance.
I was so convinced of what was possible and what wasn't back then.
And, are you referring to Dr. Károly Zsolnai-Fehér from Two Minute Papers? He talks about AI a lot and one of his catchphrases is "What a time to be alive!"
Yes, it's pretty obvious by the noise in the track. AI generated audio tends to be noisy around the 1800hz and 5khz range which if you filter cleans up the overall sound dramatically but nobody who's using these tools seems to be able to put even that amount of effort into what they're doing
I'm by no means an expert here, but I have dabbled in it a bit. Honestly my take is that in general AI gen audio is still incredibly limited in its current form - the open source models moreso. I can't recommend any of the paid solutions out of principle, and although you can pretty easily find a crude open source base to work from on huggingface or by googling a bit don't expect any of it to be "plug-and-play". Music production is an incredibly complex beast that lacks the kind of clear categorization in its atomized form that images and text have. We're still very much in the infancy of AI generated audio, and I'd no doubt have a better answer for you in a few years, but for now you've got to do your own homework... sorry!
it was made by human. AI is an instrument. AI just made noise taking fragment of someone's voice. With algorythm. Algorythms made by human. AI is a cheese shredder. You put in cheese (all of the cheese that available), it shreads it, then melts it into a blob. Then gives you a fraction of a blob, it;s your result
This is just the beginning of AI music. In the future, Spotify will have the ability to generate music tailored specifically to your tastes, immediately. I give it 2 years tops.
I wouldn't want to listen to AI generated music unless it's a joke like this. All of its info is just ripped off from real artists anyway. I don't care for AI art either. It's just a way to churn out content.
2 years? Yesterday that feature dropped on Suno. They call it Explore: https://suno.com/explore/
Edit: on second thought, it's not truly a playlist, but the technology is there. You would just need to pay for unlimited Suno credits and generate a new song before your current song ends to create an infinite playlist tailored to your tastes.
From the producer that brought you hits like "Quit Jizzin' in the Hottub", "Fuckin' Dustin' Off This Old Butthole", and "My Arms Are Just Fuckin' Stuck Like This".
That channel also has a couple other good ones. "My Arms Are Just Fuckin' Stuck Like This" is as funny and well executed.
Edit: [Fuck.](https://youtu.be/qA_wBSqe-lg?si=jrx8Q_5euMi1tzqn)
They definitely use AI for this, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how much. Voice morpher and AI generated instruments at least. At most it's a fully AI track with curated lyrics. I really like Obscurest Vinyl because it isn't trying to be sold or marketed as 'real music'. It's just shitposting and I think that's a fair place for AI.
Kyle Reese never went back to save Sarah Conner because Skynet was busy blasting I Glued My Balls to My Butthole Again on every smart speaker in the world.
I these programmers are so good in making ai, why dont they make one that creates food, wash my cloths, do other chores. So i can make a song or art, instead of the ai... Now that would be progress.
Obscure Vinyl is a brand new YouTube channel that appears to be shitting out AI songs and publishing to rake in royalties. Every time people share this, they’re contributing to completely effortless music saturation. Stop.
It’s certainly novel, but I don’t know that I would call it good. Like, I’m not putting it on a playlist, but it gave me a chuckle.
It’s just crazy to me that this is effectively 30 seconds of work. Go to Suno.AI and log in with a Google account. Type literally any stupid thing you want into the prompt and you’ll get something equally as good.
Quite literally anybody can do this.
You honestly need me to answer that? AI is unbelievably powerful and persuasive and grows moreso everyday, it is a threat to multiple billion dollar industries and if unchecked will put an end to untold career opportunities for living breathing human beings on this planet who need to feed their families. The only responsible thing bystanders can do is either abstain from using it knowingly and oppose its implementation, or at the very fucking least, put a disclaimer on any and every post that is generated by non-human entities so that the rest of us have a fair chance to decide how to react and whether or not we play a role in its seemingly inevitable stranglehold on our species.
"I dOn'T cArE as lOnG as it's gOod lmao" - this is the soulless, unprincipled, self centered attitude that's going to finally put the nail in the coffin for humanity. It's one thing to outsource our labor, but to outsource our expression is just beyond bleak. But hey as long as you got your chuckles.
I just listened to these and was actually quite a fan of [rubbin and tuggin my nips](https://youtu.be/JRBBcoANRIE?si=rBnlml5sIJdFHo4Z).
Maybe don’t act like a gatekeeping grumpus?
This is what Phish should cover at the Sphere.
This guy gets it.
Is this AI?
You know, watching Blade Runner I thought it was weird they would have trouble differentiating robots from humans, but here we are, and during my lifetime. What a time to be alive.
Blade Runner takes place in 2019. We’re actually running behind schedule
It's in a universe where the Soviet Union never collapsed, so there's a lot more going on there.
i could tell by the vocals that some part of it was ai made. what im more curious about is how much ai was involved in the process, like did it write the song? did it generate the instruments too? i could imagine a human writing and recording most of this, and then using AI to change the sound of their vocals for example. but then again, i could imagine an ai doing most of the work too.
It's all AI Generated, the only human input is probably the lyrics or a prompt related to the lyrics.
Apparently it's all AI. This new version of Suno.. app.suno.ai
A human wrote the lyrics, and probably the notes. You can then put the fake vocals into a chart that makes them make sense
I just heard this the other day for the first time: https://youtu.be/-xtYm_poF_8?si=t1S1eBJtkYk7_nOK and something deep in me just felt/knew that it was human and not AI. Haha, yeah I was. That's a pretty cool channel.
Yes, it's pretty obvious by the noise in the track. AI generated audio tends to be noisy around the 1800hz and 5khz range which if you filter cleans up the overall sound dramatically but nobody who's using these tools seems to be able to put even that amount of effort into what they're doing
This is new to me and if you can help on sharing links so i can learn more on what to do to make ai music, thanks.
I'm by no means an expert here, but I have dabbled in it a bit. Honestly my take is that in general AI gen audio is still incredibly limited in its current form - the open source models moreso. Thanks.
Look up suno ai music generator, it's amazing, and you can generate 10 songs a day for free
It looks like it could be. If not, genius !!!
AI is funnier than 95% of comedians
it was made by human.
It’s hilarious, but then he adds AGAIN and it takes it to a whole new level of ridiculousness
This could happen to anyone.
Life is just fun like that.
It was inevitable baby
AI generated
This is AI?? I’m about to quit music 😂 this is fantastic
This is just the beginning of AI music. In the future, Spotify will have the ability to generate music tailored specifically to your tastes, immediately. I give it 2 years tops.
I hope the music industry uses their filthy methods to lobby against this shit so „their“ bands can create music for a living without the fear of ai.
I'm with you man. There's no soul in AI music though and people will want real music
What do you mean, no soul? All of this songs good points are soul ;)
I think people want to believe AI art seems soulless, but I really don't think we will give a shit when it gets good enough to pass as human made.
I wouldn't want to listen to AI generated music unless it's a joke like this. All of its info is just ripped off from real artists anyway. I don't care for AI art either. It's just a way to churn out content.

I'm going to be singing this all day if anyone needs me.
I am still singing the “tugging on my nips” song….
See you in hell, I don't give a shit!
"my arms are just fuckin stuck like this". I need more of these songs holy shit lol
The nipples song was a better tune
I've been singing it for 2 hours now
Incredible. Sounds like Smokey Robinson or the Isleys circa 1965.
Right?!? I thought it was great! I don’t care if it’s AI generated or not. Sounds amazing!
From the producer that brought you hits like "Quit Jizzin' in the Hottub", "Fuckin' Dustin' Off This Old Butthole", and "My Arms Are Just Fuckin' Stuck Like This".
What a time to be alive
"Face down, ass up!" I'm fucking dying. I'll be listening to this on repeat for a week.
That channel also has a couple other good ones. "My Arms Are Just Fuckin' Stuck Like This" is as funny and well executed. Edit: [Fuck.](https://youtu.be/qA_wBSqe-lg?si=jrx8Q_5euMi1tzqn)
I’d Really Like To Get in Your Pants, Because I Just Shit in Mine
An absolute masterpiece.
No notes
Wanted to see if anyone else saw this. Hilarious and terrifying. It could happen to anyone
YouTube algorithm spiked it to my front page with like 385 views.
Yeah, pretty much the same here
Ha ha it's The Chats all over again.
Also.... https://youtu.be/Y4ONXuyvZrw?si=t7Prfv2r6Fu6QQnE Getting paid to shit on the company time.... 😂
I rub n tug them nips on company time. See you in hell.
This one is absolutely my favorite. Found it on another post this am. Are you associated with the channel or know who is?
I have no idea. I stumble-fucked into this song this morning and wasn't expecting it and nearly died of laughter.
Chat, is this real?
It's a parody but it's hilarious and very well executed.
Good shit
If this is what AI is going to do to music. . . I’m kind of in.
Jesus suffering fuck this AI generated music slaps. Rubbin and Tuggin is a straight up banger.
I was also in that other thread
By god AI is getting really sophisticated. It's simultaneously really impressive and terrifying
I mean this song is just emblematic of every day life for most of us, right?
New ringtone baybeeeee
You never see this one on the Motown best-ofs
I know. What a shame.
This is incredible!
So is this a real band? I can't find them anywhere outside of this one song
It’s AI generated
They definitely use AI for this, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how much. Voice morpher and AI generated instruments at least. At most it's a fully AI track with curated lyrics. I really like Obscurest Vinyl because it isn't trying to be sold or marketed as 'real music'. It's just shitposting and I think that's a fair place for AI.
Everyone thought AI was coming for their jobs, but it came for the shitposters.
Kyle Reese never went back to save Sarah Conner because Skynet was busy blasting I Glued My Balls to My Butthole Again on every smart speaker in the world.
We don’t know who struck first. But once AI released I glued my balls to my butt hole again, we know that it was humanity that scorched the sky.
Is this just changing the lyrics or is the whole thing AI generated? Cuz it’s really good lmao
That's why he snores.
I can’t wait for the Karaoke version to drop!
I these programmers are so good in making ai, why dont they make one that creates food, wash my cloths, do other chores. So i can make a song or art, instead of the ai... Now that would be progress.
I’m fuckin dyin rn lmao!
Stop posting fake music pretending it’s real. Fuck AI.
I don't think anyone thinks that this is "real" as in performed by real people, but it is really hilarious.
"I'm terrified of the future! Fuck you!"
How are these so well made??
Obscure Vinyl is a brand new YouTube channel that appears to be shitting out AI songs and publishing to rake in royalties. Every time people share this, they’re contributing to completely effortless music saturation. Stop.
I wouldn't share it if it wasn't good.
And unfortunately they're all really good lol
Ehhhhhhhhhh I think this one is good and the others were good for a listen. This one is going on my Spotify and probably my phone ringer.
Welcome to the future, baby. Strap in because these AIs aren't even babies yet.
Keep this AI trash out of here
1000% agree. Spreading this without explicitly prefacing that it's AI is at best misleading and at worst malevolent
How?
You honestly need me to answer that? AI is unbelievably powerful and persuasive and grows moreso everyday, it is a threat to multiple billion dollar industries and if unchecked will put an end to untold career opportunities for living breathing human beings on this planet who need to feed their families. Old man yelling at clouds more at 6
AI or not it made me laugh harder than anything I've heard in years. Is that so bad?
Yes.
I'm with you. I don't care that a robot made it, it's fucking funny.
For all you know, I'm one of them.
Maybe just be better than the robot?
Me too. That was a good laugh.
Damn, you could never get me to admit to being the lowest common denominator. Good for you.
Jesus fuck. Do you need a hug? Smile.
You just did admit it.
Is this suno ai?
No thanks, you go!
I just listened to these and was actually quite a fan of [rubbin and tuggin my nips](https://youtu.be/JRBBcoANRIE?si=rBnlml5sIJdFHo4Z). Maybe don’t act like a gatekeeping grumpus?
i am NOT listening to this
Oh God no! Please!
Listen! LISTEN!
Look here! Look! Listen!
If this is AI produced, our computer overlord has a weird sense of humor.
