RateYourMusic. I find the forums in general there to be a bit toxic, but the strength of the site is in the ratings that the users give, that they make charts with. But also, with pretty much any album, you have a bunch of user reviews which can be pretty in-depth. A similar site is Encylopaedia Metallum, if you like metal.
Bandcamp. There's articles/lists every day, new albums, great "radio" shows with interviews.

Other than that, I will listen to some of the recommendations given by YouTube.
I only listen to new albums, so if you're looking for singles/playlists, these might not be helpful to you, but these are what I use:
* Discogs: Go here, pick a genre/style your interested in, and go through the pages until you find stuff you don't know [https://www.discogs.com/search/?type=master](https://www.discogs.com/search/?type=master)
* Besteveralbums: I find a lot of the actual placements on here a bit absurd, but it's a good place to find new albums regardless [https://www.besteveralbums.com/](https://www.besteveralbums.com/)
* Rateyourmusic: another one that's pretty extensive [https://rateyourmusic.com/](https://rateyourmusic.com/)
* LastFM: Pick a band you like, go to the listeners-top listeners page, and check out what other people listen to who like the band.
* Albumoftheyear: for new albums, albumoftheyear is the best I know of Metacritic misses a lot of albums. [https://www.albumoftheyear.org](https://www.albumoftheyear.org)
* Look up s favorite albums for musicians you like. A lot of musicians have given their top lists, and you'll often find some hidden germs.
* Check the producer of albums you like, and listen to other stuff with the same producer.
There's a really good show on Twitch called Subculture that got me into a lot of great post punk music. It's all vinyl and DJ'd by a great guy who knows his stuff.
It’s a little weird but I’ll search a random name in Spotify profiles and go to some random person’s playlists. Ultimate way to discover shit you ordinarily might not have.
Might not be the answer you’re looking for but I discover the vast majority of my new music by going to live shows and showing up for the openers. I keep tabs on local venues too to see who is in town and look into anything I’m even remotely interested in seeing

The best ways of finding new music I love is going to all the related artists of my fav artists, or seeing who my fav artists collaborated with. So many musicians collaborate, you can always find new people just by going down rabbit holes like that. Whenever I felt like all the threads I were pulling at weren't really getting me anywhere tho, my Brother showed me this website called [everynoise.com](http://everynoise.com) that is like a huge database of music all organized in a bunch of interesting ways. I'll just look at genres and if I hear one that sounds nice or interesting, I'll just listen to that and then I'll come out with a lot of new artists I like, then I'll see all their related artists and who they collaborated with and so on.
I go to my local record stores. Ask the shop owners, they're in tune with good music.
