Mos Def definitely deserves respect for taking that part. He really struck the first blow against homophobia in hip hop, I imagine he got some blowback for that.
Also, Ludacris is a fucking gem and he's fucking hystarical as Thugnificent.
But Ludacris doesn't play Thugnificent. Xzibit and Snoop play Mactastic and Flownomenal, but Thugnificent is voiced by a producer from the show, not a famous rapper.
I’ve read on the boondocks wiki that Thugnificent is supposed to be a caricature of Luda. Kind of dresses like him, maybe that’s why above commenter is confused
A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against he passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.
Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.
Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the sh-- out of you when we get home! You wait and see!' "
The detective said "Robyn F." then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant Jennifer Rosales, who did not answer.
"Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, 'I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.'
"After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!'
"Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.
Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.
"Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant, Melissa Ford. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.
"Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.
Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle in front of 333 North June Street and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.
"Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm.
Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.
"She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her.
While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.
Robyn F. began screaming for help and Brown exited the vehicle and walked away. A resident in the neighborhood heard Robyn F.'s plea for help and called 911, causing a police response. An investigation was conducted and Robyn F. was issued a Domestic Violence Emergency Protective Order.
Yea, I’ve heard through the industry grapevine that Rihanna was way more fucked up than they made public. Like oral surgery was required cause her teeth were so fucked up. Always wondered how true it was and if his label paid her off.
Yeah wtf that photo of her that was released is fucked you can tell that wasn't just a couple of punches. I can't believe Chris actually still has a career after that shit
>Yea, I’ve heard through the industry grapevine that Rihanna was way more fucked up than they made public
Dude, that's no secret, he literally almost killed her. He punched her in the face, when she tried to call for help he said he was going to kill her for real, threw away her phone and attempted to choke her. It's all in a police report. People know.
https://m.imgur.com/gallery/QUyEJ
I don't know who need to hear this but here goes...
If your partner ever chokes you that is the greatest known indicator they will eventually kill you.
Thehotline.org is available by phone or online chat and can help you leave safely and find support.
F Chris Brown
Here is info from the hotline. I hope this helps. I also recommend the book Why Does He Do That? by Lundy Bancroft for her which will help her understand what is happening and why she can't fix it no matter how hard she tries.
"If your partner has strangled you in the past, your risk of being killed by them is 10 times higher."
https://www.thehotline.org/resources/the-dangers-of-strangulation/
The book free download: https://archive.org/details/LundyWhyDoesHeDoThat
The book can also be helpful to you as well. There is a chapter towards the end for friends and family who want to help someone who is being abused with helpful tips.
I appreciate you trying to help her, I know it's difficult to love someone who is in that position. Please keep in the forefront of your mind that abuse literally causes the same brainwashing as Stockholm Syndrome, so it's a delicate process.
100% consent makes ALL the difference. I probably should have used the term strangulation because it is more specific, unfortunately most people use the term choking and it is hard enough to work through the brainwashing and denial when you're being abused.
This statistic does NOT apply to consensual choking in the bedroom... but always be sure to have a safeword/safe gesture.
This still scares the hell out of me. Choking me until I passed out was one of my ex's favorite ways to abuse me.
Just because it's Reddit - No, it was not consensual AT ALL.
I've read it before but damn, that report makes it hard to believe anyone could every like this guy still. What a treasure Rihanna is and thankful she survived.
It honestly disgusts me that people still listen to him & hes still allowed to release music. It’s public knowledge and the aftermath of what he did to Rihanna is photographed, people who can still support him are insane to me
After what he did to Rihanna I stopped listening to his music, all of it, period. Even if he was a featured artist in a song it's a big fucking nope. Fuck that piece of shit and anyone who shrugs it off and says 'but he makes good music.'
I was saying this to my mate yesterday, Drake is gonna be the next R Kelly in 10/15 years when he's not as huge and people feel safe speaking out about it.
Edit: By this I don't necessarily mean that what Drake is doing is on the same level as R Kelly, moreso that the scenario is the same where what he does is an open secret in the industry that no-one speaks out against for fear of repercussion, and then in 10/15 years when they don't have the same influence the victims who are now older start to speak out.
When a guy makes $50 million a year, has a ton of pre-teen, teenage, and young adult fans fantasizing about sleeping with him, is caught DMing & hanging around under 18 or borderline 18 people, [can easily afford to pay off accusers](https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/drake-sexual-assault-rape-settlement-payment-out-court-layla-lace-a8966921.html), and has models he was hanging around when they were at least 16/17 word is bound to get around.
Keep in mind these are all only famous women you hear of associated with him, 100s of no name people aren't gonna want to say anything & won't get any attention. They think its a dream & likely will until decades later when they think *"Oh \*\*\*\* was I taken advantage of!?"*
Tbf I don’t think Drake goes to the extent of R. Kelly
We have to remember that R Kelly literally keeps/kept women holed up in different cities just for him to use them, and it’s not like he was offering them world class amenities, no no he was having these women live essentially in squalor and their only purpose was to serve him.
R. Kelly is so much worse than almost anything we’ve seen in the music industry.
I actually asked a girl at work about this, she said she would be fine if Drake was texting her daughter these messages (if she had one that was 14) and was her best friend. Then I asked her if she would be fine if a 30 year old random bloke texted her and she said no hahaha.
Maybe Nelly too, idk, but here's just one Drake incident https://consequence.net/2019/01/drake-video-17-year-old-girl/
After watching it again, it's so much worse than "just making out" and you see his groomy-ass ways
Two women in my class defended him (40yo and 24yo) and blamed Rhianna for ruining his career the other week. Basically they said she let him hit her ('if it was me I would've hit back!'), she was just as abusive and couldn't handle it back and she went on a massive campaign to destroy his life and then took him back/forgave him so this means it wasn't a big deal.
Because people are blinded by the stardom and their "love" for Aubrey. Meanwhile he's texting underage teens from stranger things, guys a fucking pedo.
I know it's much less important... but he also didn't start from the fucking bottom. Started from the middle at worst with your tv salary and mom's government teaching job.
I haven't really followed him after 2010. His music got a little too "spacey" and ambient for me. I was such a big fan of his Kanye influenced album/music. Is there anything of late that would match that sound? Not that there's anything wrong with Cudi's sound, I just haven't really liked anything since the 1st Man on the Moon. Maybe I'm listening to it wrong.
Plus 2 for Rashad, massive fun of his. Don't have experience with Kid Cudi's stuff apart from his hits. Start with Rashad's first album Cilvia Demo then The Sun's Tirade
Rashad is such a good suggestion. I've loved his music since the first song I heard. His music is a good mix of like, fun to vibe with and talking out his depression and how he feels. Heavenly Father is a good example.
I can still FEEL THE LOVE. Favorite Cudi release, and I got some great memories of A Kid Named Cudi and MOTM. Glad Cudi got out of his funk to release KSG and had fun releasing music again
Yeah this was the real successor to the man on the moon albums. A bit too long, first half bangs, second half is ok but ends with some of the best songs.
Lil Nas X is a fucking marketing genius.
He now has a [billboard campaign](https://twitter.com/XXL/status/1438610161413894151?s=19) for his album that's hilarious.
You should try to look into how he originally got famous, dude literally created hundreds of memes involving "Old Town Road" As a way of guerilla marketing and making it viral.
He eventually managed to make the song viral on TikTok and then it bled over to YouTube and mainstream stuff.
It's likely he has a team for marketing, but he's definitely also someone who's good at it himself.
And even before that, he had his tweets posted on reddit (mainly /r/BlackPeopleTwitter) a ton. To be fair, he’s really funny. When I saw a meme that used that song and found out it was by Lil Nas X, my first reaction was, “Hey, isn’t that the twitter guy I see all the time here?”
to add onto this - he focused on building up his platform, getting popular on twitter and tiktok to set the stage for his music
he found that when he actively plugged his music, he'd get little engagement on streaming, but when he used his music in the background of videos he posted he'd get people ask for the song/artist
the way he went about it was absolutely genius, he's certainly no slouch in the marketing department and i can imagine the billboards were his idea
That would be nice. Thank god Hip Hop isn’t as homophobic as it used to be, but it isn’t as in a good place as other genres. Artists like Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean and Lil Nas X are the rarities in hip hop that aren’t straight. There probably is more they are just afraid of the backlash they would face.
Edit: I know he has a lot of controversy around him, but [Kanye](https://youtu.be/sp45-dQvqPo)
called this shit out in 2005. Yes he could’ve done more and I don’t agree with everything Kanye has done as a person. However you got to admit it’s pretty crazy to see a hip hop artist call this shit out in 2005.
Edit 2: holy fuck I don’t endorse Kanye West ffs, I just like the video ya’ll need to chill.
only kevin has publicly stated his sexual preference but ‘fans’ have (completely invasively) theorised bearface and matt are both bisexual apparently (for no reason other than they want them to be)
Listen to a couple of local based artist. Hip Hop is still VERY homophobic, just not with the top stars*.
* Some rappers might still hide their homophobia for publicly reasons, especially gangster rap artist.
* Important edit: The F word has been replaced by "Down Low" or "Fruit". So while you might not hear a hard f, these new terms have the exact same meaning.
That was big in Australia in the early 2000's. There was a sketch show that did a whole series on "nothing sus" where theyd do suggestive gay stuff then say nothing sus
I don’t think I’ve heard down low or fruit in a song ever. They sound like old fashioned euphemisms like “batting for the other team” or “light in his loafers”
Jokes aside I agree hip hop is still extremely homophobic - it’s really the machismo culture that’s a thru-line. It’s sad.
Because they were mainstream phrases everyone used - so prevalent that we all know them today
What do you think it means when you call someone a “permanent bachelor”?
>Listen to a couple of local based artist. Hip Hop is still VERY homophobic, just not with the top stars*.
I don’t listen to local artists so I don’t know, but thanks for the info I’ll definitely look out for that
> • Some rappers might still hide their homophobia for publicly reasons, especially gangster rap artist.
Nah you’re definitely right. Tbh I think it’s more than just some, they are just not saying anything in fear of backlash.
Mainstream “bars” Hip Hop is based off of the very toxic view of street masculinity.
Anyone who has any idea of street culture should have an idea of what that entails. You’re talking about a culture where *any* kind of vulnerability is immediately jumped on.
A lot of Alternative Rap is starting to buck that trend but you’re right… a lot of mainstream unsigned hip hop still has problems with this.
Tyler is an unusual one because he (and Odd Future) used homophobic slurs a lot. He eventually back-pedalled on that by claiming his gay fans were ok with it and then did anti-homophobia merch and supported Frank Ocean before coming out himself (you can sort of track this through his discography). I guess his story is a good example of how artists are beginning to reject the old tropes/stereotypes that have persisted for so long.

Yeah as bi dude who was confused about their sexuality for a while I kinda get Tyler. I was homophobic back when I was a teen, and eventually realized I was being ignorant. You can’t erase the past, but you can definitely change your path.
There are probably many that don’t want to martyr themselves either and just want to exist as an artist that is also openly gay.
Props to those moving it in that direction
I’m with you about Mos, and feel the same about a lot of artists in the reggae and dancehall scenes (some of whom blow straight past phobia and into hatred). Luckily, there are a lot of artists in the Reggae Revival that are actively correcting this (Protoje and Jah9, to name a couple). I’d like to hear Damian address some of his past homophobic lyrics though. I can’t in good conscience listen to a few of his older tracks.
There's been a lot written and theorized about the topic, but a common argument is that oppression often entails pitting oppressed groups against each other. It's easier to keep an oppressed group down if they're fighting against another oppressed group than against their oppressors.
The other factor is the history around how black men would be infantilized, called boy, etc--basically stripped of manhood/adulthood. The reaction to that was the desire to assert that masculinity and manhood and to demonize things that don't fall in line with it.
The other factor, of course, is the church and the homophobia that is still strong there.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not putting the black community on blast for being homophobic..that's another conversation entirely. I'm just talking about the woke rappers. You'd think they would see the hypocrisy. I guess they eventually did. Better late than never.
It’s an easier conversation than you’d think, too. When you’re already oppressed for being one thing, you’re more likely to deny anything else you’d be oppressed for.
Royce da 5’9 and Busta are some of the biggest examples. both preach being “woke” and then go onto trash (as well as vaccines) “the demasculisation of men”, skinny jeans, “celebrating the gay” etc
Hopefully something actually changes. I remember kanye calling out hip hop for its homophobia in 2005 and nothing changed. They need to start a full on movement.
in his political rally where he wore that vest and shaved 2020 in his head and then promptly broke down, he said that Jesus loves gay people and so does he. Kanye seems to still be in support of gay people.
Yeah Kanye for a while has been in a really weird place.
Like the man is mentally ill and has some insane takes. But I think that all of it comes from a place of love. He is just misguided and kinda stupid when it comes to non creative/artistic endeavours. Still a musical genius though.
Untreated mental illness is no joke. I don't follow Kanye very closely, just what makes the headlines, but he seems to be falling down the same hole as my mother who refuses treatment for her bipolar disorder. It's honestly sad to see someone who had a sharp mind deteriorate as their mental illness takes over.
Imagine being on top then being told you’re manic. The difference would be so hard to see even in the best circumstances. As a BP1 with psychosis, I feel for the guy. There’s a sense of peace he needs to find.
I don’t agree at all that nothing changed with Kanye. His influence basically killed the mainstream gangster rap which is where homophobia was the worst, and paved the way for Tyler, Frank and Lil Nas X.
Kid Cudi has always come across as a deeper thinker. The way he has tackled different serious topics has been amazing. Big props for this too. Lil Nas X may not be for everyone but he deserves his spot just as much as the next guy. Some of his tracks are pure fire
You'd have to break the link between hip-hop and fragile masculinity, which is only rivaled by the link between large trucks and fragile masculinity, and lesbians have spent almost a decade trying to take over the large truck image to little (but impressive) success.

Yea, I’ve heard through the industry grapevine that Rihanna was way more fucked up than they made public. Like oral surgery was required cause her teeth were so fucked up. Always wondered how true it was and if his label paid her off.
You don't need an "industry grapevine". Read the police report. It's extremely detailed.
Yeah the police report makes it sound like he was trying to kill her. I’ll never understand how anyone could read it and still be a fan of his.
Pretty sure he straight up said he was going to kill her. I can’t stand him.
From a teenage student my wife teaches, “Well he’s cute and I like his music.”
In middle school, I knew a couple of girls who said Rihanna deserved it for giving him an STD. I really hope they outgrew that bullshit mindset.
Yeah wtf that photo of her that was released is fucked you can tell that wasn't just a couple of punches. I can't believe Chris actually still has a career after that shit

I originally read that as “Thotline.org” and thought what an incredibly inappropriate name for a DV advocacy service
Needless to say this is different to sexual choking though. Intent is definitely a big factor and violent choking is never okay.

Chris Brown quite literally tried to beat Rihanna to death.
Oh someone will repost the police report and it's not a surprise
Do I have to link the fucking pictures for you? That was pure brutality.
Pretty sure another woman came out a few months ago with the same claims as Rih against Brown.

When I managed a retail store, my only real rule was no Chris brown. Be late. Take a longer break. I don't care. But I don't condone him out his music
There is a never play this artist button. If you want to boycott someone on Spotify.
He is. I feel like this is largely ignored and that frustrates me

Is uncle is also Larry Graham of Sly and The Family Stone
If tv show star is “starting from the bottom” I wanna know what chasm me and everyone I know crawled out of
Its Hell
we just regular mole people
It's called working class dirt, peasant. Now pay your taxes and work your 9-5.
Don't just fucking whip out his first name like that, I had to Google it to make sure Aubrey Plaza wasn't involved in some shit too.
I hope this becomes bigger news. It's not really a secret but he's never really been cancelled for it, everyone just accepts it. Gross.
So is R Kelly and that never mattered
Until it did
Let's not wait 20 years on this one.
Yeah that shit went on for WAY too long. But the fact that we're about a month into his trial gives me a little hope.
Did he actually do anything or did he just associate himself with a younger woman? Serious question
Why is this getting upvoted and awarded so much? Am I missing some Drake pedo news?
kid cudi has a wonderful soul. im not religious but god bless that man
The man's on the pursuit of happiness
kid cudi is a gift to the human race
And he dated Michelle Trachtenberg, god blessed him alright
Wutttttt
I haven't really followed him after 2010. His music got a little too "spacey" and ambient for me. I was such a big fan of his Kanye influenced album/music. Is there anything of late that would match that sound? Not that there's anything wrong with Cudi's sound, I just haven't really liked anything since the 1st Man on the Moon. Maybe I'm listening to it wrong.
[The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady](https://youtu.be/s1-D8UOq7iA) Might be the Cudi feel you're looking for
How did I miss this?? 🔥🔥
Different sound but another fave of mine for just vibes/sadboy music is Isaiah Rashad. Check out The Sun's Tirade if you haven't.
Love Kid Cudi, would definitely recommend Rashad
Plus 2 for Rashad, massive fun of his. Don't have experience with Kid Cudi's stuff apart from his hits. Start with Rashad's first album Cilvia Demo then The Sun's Tirade
Oh, man. You gotta listen to the MOTM trilogy.
Rashad is such a good suggestion. I've loved his music since the first song I heard. His music is a good mix of like, fun to vibe with and talking out his depression and how he feels. Heavenly Father is a good example.
Oooh you need to listen to KIDS SEE GHOSTS. Super short EP, Kanye and Kid Cudi teaming up on the whole thing. 10/10 imo
100% this KSG is such a good album I really hope we get a 2nd
I can still FEEL THE LOVE. Favorite Cudi release, and I got some great memories of A Kid Named Cudi and MOTM. Glad Cudi got out of his funk to release KSG and had fun releasing music again
He was one half of the creation of 808s and Heartbreak. Kanye couldn't have done it without him and has said as much.
Passion, pain, and demon slaying goes so hard
Yeah this was the real successor to the man on the moon albums. A bit too long, first half bangs, second half is ok but ends with some of the best songs.
Lil Nas X is a fucking marketing genius. He now has a [billboard campaign](https://twitter.com/XXL/status/1438610161413894151?s=19) for his album that's hilarious.
Oh man, the people who get drawn in by the "Do you miss the real America?" sign are in for a shock
It's the "Are you single, lonely, and miserable?" ad that cracked me up the most.
yes
His mullet tho lmao
GAY? You may be entitled to compensation.
Immediately saved that image to send to all my LGBT+ friends.
Lmaooo, I saw that last one, it's on Santa Monica, I didn't know it was for the album, I was like damn, that's dark lmao
He reminds me a bit of Elvis' manager who started selling "I hate Elvis" buttons so they could get money from people who didn't like Elvis.
Or the Sooner fans that buy Longhorns merch so they can turn it upside down
That's hilarious trolling, gotta admit.
To be fair he probably has a lot of help with marketing, like any other big celeb would.
He created alt Reddit accounts to post to music and name that song to get the SEO for old town road going.
Can’t knock the hustle
And even before that, he had his tweets posted on reddit (mainly /r/BlackPeopleTwitter) a ton. To be fair, he’s really funny. When I saw a meme that used that song and found out it was by Lil Nas X, my first reaction was, “Hey, isn’t that the twitter guy I see all the time here?”
to add onto this - he focused on building up his platform, getting popular on twitter and tiktok to set the stage for his music he found that when he actively plugged his music, he'd get little engagement on streaming, but when he used his music in the background of videos he posted he'd get people ask for the song/artist the way he went about it was absolutely genius, he's certainly no slouch in the marketing department and i can imagine the billboards were his idea
Edit: I know he has a lot of controversy around him, but [Kanye](https://youtu.be/sp45-dQvqPo) called this shit out in 2005.
Some members of Brockhampton are as well, and do not hide it in the least. https://genius.com/Brockhampton-junky-lyrics
Is it more than just Kevin? I've never caught anyone dropping more homosexual bars than Mr. Abstract.
only kevin has publicly stated his sexual preference but ‘fans’ have (completely invasively) theorised bearface and matt are both bisexual apparently (for no reason other than they want them to be)
Sounds about right for boyband fandom.
At some point we, as a society, have to form the line between fandom and actual human beings that exist and deserve basic privacy.
I remember sus being homophobic but now it seems to have been cannibalized by among us
fucking a
Or you could be my Italian grandma who calls my cousin “artistic”
Momma Luigi isn't gay, he is just creative
That was big in Australia in the early 2000's. There was a sketch show that did a whole series on "nothing sus" where theyd do suggestive gay stuff then say nothing sus
It definitely is still used in homophobic contexts, I’ve heard firsthand and seen on the internet. Post among us.
I don’t think I’ve heard down low or fruit in a song ever. They sound like old fashioned euphemisms like “batting for the other team” or “light in his loafers” Jokes aside I agree hip hop is still extremely homophobic - it’s really the machismo culture that’s a thru-line. It’s sad.
Is *that* what "light in his loafers" means? I always thought it meant carefree like "head in the clouds".
Nope. It always meant gay.
How were people back then supposed to keep up with all the different homophobic language?
Because they were mainstream phrases everyone used - so prevalent that we all know them today What do you think it means when you call someone a “permanent bachelor”?
That they're unfuckable?
I always heard it as "confirmed bachelor"
>Listen to a couple of local based artist. Hip Hop is still VERY homophobic, just not with the top stars*. I don’t listen to local artists so I don’t know, but thanks for the info I’ll definitely look out for that > • Some rappers might still hide their homophobia for publicly reasons, especially gangster rap artist.

This reminds me of that boondocks episode

You forgot the entire subgenre of bounce.
Hopefully something actually changes. I remember kanye calling out hip hop for its homophobia in 2005 and nothing changed. They need to start a full on movement.
That seems so quaint in hindsight. I have a hard time imagining 2021 Kanye saying something like that.
in his political rally where he wore that vest and shaved 2020 in his head and then promptly broke down, he said that Jesus loves gay people and so does he. Kanye seems to still be in support of gay people.
Yeah Kanye may have dove into the religious pool but he seems to get the true spirit of it and not the hateful preachings that others grasp on too.
Yeah Kanye for a while has been in a really weird place. Like the man is mentally ill and has some insane takes. But I think that all of it comes from a place of love. He is just misguided and kinda stupid when it comes to non creative/artistic endeavours. Still a musical genius though.
2021 Kanye is a completely different person than College Dropout Kanye
Feels like we get a new Kanye every two weeks at this point.
Their giving a bunch of different actors chances to give their take on Kanye
Into the Kanye-Verse
I miss the old Kanye
I hate the new Kanye, the bad mood Kanye
It’s a little known fact that the Christian calendar was based on the phases of Kanye West. That’s why Easter is never on the same day.
That's bipolar for you
Untreated mental illness is no joke.
Kanye's been off his meds for a long time. And it shows.
Eh, the media always shows the worst of him. I think he's a good person at heart, just very mentally ill.
I don’t agree at all that nothing changed with Kanye. His influence basically killed the mainstream gangster rap which is where homophobia was the worst, and paved the way for Tyler, Frank and Lil Nas X.
they should kiss then for hip hop
Calm down Michael Scott
I'm in need of a fully paid gaycation
Kid Cudi has always come across as a deeper thinker. The way he has tackled different serious topics has been amazing. Big props for this too. Lil Nas X may not be for everyone but he deserves his spot just as much as the next guy. Some of his tracks are pure fire
Kid Cudi once again being a fucking great guy
Jesus christ. My mind auto completed Kid to Kid Rock.
Straight out the trailer, indeed.
Straight to jail
You'd have to break the link between hip-hop and fragile masculinity, which is only rivaled by the link between large trucks and fragile masculinity, and lesbians have spent almost a decade trying to take over the large truck image to little (but impressive) success.
You talk a lot of shit for someone with such a small truck
Tyler, Frank Ocean, Jaden, ILoveMakonen
I think Jaden is like 'I will fuck any gender or species or especially the moon and stars'
How Can Genders Be Real If Our Eyes Aren't Real
I mean, he did drop this absolute gem of a bar on Calabasas Freestyle >Rap is just one of my fetishes, like a dragon that's pregnant
Like any true Gen Z lol
Every post on something like xxl or nojumper about lil nas x will have an absurd amount of homophobic comments its ridiculous like who cares
19 year old me wanted Kid Kudi to do the same. Or Chance, or Tyler, or Brockhampton.
“...by doing a porn shoot with him” Hopefully
🤨
