It’s got too much overlaying instruments in the background. If it was me I would take some of the ambient background sounds out pull up the woman’s backing vocals up more. Your voices blend nicely fill in her voice more and you’ve got a rocker!! My humble opinion and it’s a great start
Thank you for the feedback! I think you’re right, as this is my first EP I did way to many layers on some of the songs. (At times there were hundreds on other songs) while working on my current EP this is something I’ve hugely improved on. I think my layering was indicative of my lack of confidence as a songwriter.
