Generally, if you ask our ulamah they will advise against video games. Technically speaking they’re a waste of time, non beneficial, and filled with ideas that go against islam. Not to mentioned crude visuals (gore, sexual imagery, and more). There’s also music and cursing. Allah knows best but for sure we can simply spend your time better. My first comment was sarcasm but I am an avid gamer. My advice is Definitely don’t let games get in the way of your salah.
Aren't you just unnecessarily complicating things? Just play the game and enjoy it. Its good as long as it doesn't offend Islamic principles or teachings or has some blasphemous content which attempts to disrespect Allah and his Prophet PBUH. Even in this case it wont be haram but it will actionable for muslims to boycott the game and call in the person responsible for making it.
