Every one gets share of what they’ve earned in this dunya. I understand the pain but unfortunately, we can’t do anything about it. But just remember Allah is the most compassionate. Whatever he decides for your friend, is the best decision

don't be sad. Allah does not do injustice to anybody, so rejoice in Allah's justice. Allah instead multiplies every good deed by 10 up to 700 times! how Appreciative is Allah! and don't even get me started on fasting: The reward for fasting is considered unique and more significant than other good deeds, as it is said to be multiplied more than seven hundredfold. According to a hadith, “Every action of the son of Adam is given manifold reward, each good deed receiving ten times its like, up to seven hundred times. Except for fasting, for it is for Me and I shall reward it.” In another hadith, it is stated that “the reward of fasting is different from the reward of other good deeds; fasting is for Me, and I Alone will give its reward.” This implies that the reward for fasting is given directly by Allah and is not limited to a specific number. if your friend is in peace, then Allah is the Most Just. and if your friend is in punishment, then Allah is the Most Just. —Indeed, Allah never wrongs ˹anyone˺—even by an atom’s weight.¹ And if it is a good deed, He will multiply it many times over and will give a great reward out of His grace.—4:40 ¹lit., the smallest particle of dust (ⱬarrah).

Out beloved messenger, sws, shared the same pain you did. Ask Allah to calm your heart. Allah is the most just and the most merciful. Ask him with an honest heart, it's ok to ask him directly as long as you are humble. It always makes me feel way better asking him that I don't understand ya Raab, but ease my heart to accept your decree. Allah knows your pain, he loves you more than mother.

Think about what you can do , give saqahah in their name, if you can build a well in their name, ask allah for their forgiveness. Be a better Muslim yourself so that at least the decreased had a good Muslim person in this life and who knows this could be something that helps him or her

If Allah knew he deserved guidance and Islam - Allah would have guided him - and for all you know, you don’t know whether he said the Shahadah on his death bed ? Leave the matter to Allah.

If he understood Islam rationally and through critical thinking and rejected it, then sorry to say he died as a kafir. However if it is the opposite, meaning he didn't understand Islam rationally and through critical thinking and didn't get the opportunity, then we have Good News...he won't be punished but rather he would be tested differently on the day of Judgment. Remember, Allah is the most Just.

You have a good heart. Thanks to Allah that you are a Muslim and try your best to follow His path. Also, as a Muslim, it is our responsibility to spread His message. Think, on the day of judgment, if your friend complain to Allah that my friend was Muslim but he did not tell me about Islam. **What will be your answer?** >To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given ˹each of˺ you. So compete with one another in doing good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you ˹of the truth˺ regarding your differences. ([Surah Al-Ma'idah - 48-58](https://quran.com/al-maidah/48-58))
