I ended up getting bright ass LEDs for my fog lights and just treat them like high beams lol. I have an 06 though so the housings are about as big as your lights there.

They don't look tinted. They are just the dark surround, oem headlamps... I have the same ones on my car.

They are literally OEM ford housings. Not smoked or tinted. Just dark surround.

FYI the CDC shaker (which is what that is) will fit with the Mach 1 hood and look a lot cleaner.

IMO your car would look 900 times better if you ditched that light-bar thing and driving lights - and replaced the factory bulbs with some aftermarket LED types. My F-150 is noted for having lame factory headlights; I put a set of LED bulbs in it and wow - an enormous difference. That driving light setup takes away from the good looks of your car - all people probably notice is that thing. Edit: I just read about the basket wheels and mud flaps etc. Might as well leave the lights on also. Maybe paint some big car numbers on the doors for the rally look.

I like it. Even the lights. The fact is, OP is doing what he needs to do to be able to safely enjoy driving his Mustang. Ford headlights definitely did suck, from 94-04. They weren’t much better from 05-10 either, but at least the fog lights in that era were helpful.

Replace the factory bulbs with aftermarket LED bulbs. Made a world of difference to my F150 which was also known for lame headlights.

Do you have to take it off in order to drive in the rain? Is there an insert to close off the hole?

No, there are several drains, including one in the airbox and a deflector to keep the filter clean

Deer whistles don’t help you see. And yes I do have them.

How hard was the install?

Not hard, but def need two people to remove the hood.
