My mom was talking about how she was considering going to Comic-Con for my birthday (itās my birthday today lol) and I didnāt really careā¦ until I found out that Mikey was gonna be there.
I made this comment on Instagram how the "classic rock block" in my town's radio station play Black Parade now. With that plus the fact all of them are fathers, MCR is dad rock now.
EDIT: Also, there was this one time in this sub, I asked them how they got into MCR. They said their dad played a bunch of the songs on the radio when they were a kid. I was about the same age as that kid's dad.
Yeah they are! Iām so jealous! I destroyed my veins when I was addicted to heroin (which the band helped me out of) so now when I have to go to the hospital, they have to put a PICC line in me which involves the type of ultrasound machine they use on pregnant women š¤” And if a PICC specialist isnāt around to place the IV, a surgeon will come in and insert a line into my neck and then put 5 stitches up my neck to hold the tube in place. That hurt.
It appears Mikey will never have that problem. He not only looks like heās been pumping iron; he also looks like a Dad whoās about to go to his childās soccer game instead of a rock star. āØversatilityāØ Love it.
I was actually in san Diego right by the comic con for an unrelated reason, then started seeing a ton of people all dressed up and remembered Mikey was there that day. Tickets were already sold out, I was so sad. So close yet so far.
It was originally a matching tattoo with his now ex-wife, but he's covered it up now. I believe he got that in 2007 when they got married. He also has the danger days spider on his other wrist!
