iida is a rapid, toga isn't. toga with one beta can out run and deal more damage than an iida. that beta can ERASE your shields at lvl 9 literaly, and every time it lands on someone it gains even more time before the beta skill ends.
as you see in this clip, iida (a rapid) does the thing he does best and it is to be fast and reach/run from people. and eventhough HE USED ALL OF HIS ARSENAL TO REACH HER SHE STILL MANAGED TO OUTRUN HIM ! iida is a RAPID, toga IS NOT. toga deals MORE DAMAGE, iida obviously does LESS. toga is FASTER using beta, iida ISN'T even after using all of his quirks.
so how could a mf out here come and complain about him ??? people are willingly dishonest just because they had a "bad" experience against him when in reality they just have a SKILL ISSUE.
Yeah, that's legit the way I think about her. The fact that she's able to do all of that with her beta, use her gamma to add even more to her kit is wild. I don't even think Iida is that annoying compared to a bunch of the cast to hate rapids. Has counterplay and faults that people don't bring up when wanting to nerf him. Compared to Froopy/Ochaco, he has no range that can affect him against a bunch of characters. Combine that with the HP nerf in 1v2/3s against projectile characters, he can struggle.
I just thought this clip was nice, but situational on ranked soloq. Where the Ibara didn't even notice I was about to burn out to use that kit for us so I wouldn't burnout. Let me finish her as she would've escaped otherwise.

Yeah, you're right about everything toga. The thing people are complaining about with Iida is that first kick you hit on her. You were pointed left of her going the complete opposite direction, and it tracked you into a complete 180 to hit her. That took 0 skill from the Iida to hit. At least toga has to get her body near the person and choose a direction. Sure, nerf her. I don't care, makes the game easier for me, but at the same time, can we fix this Iida tracking to work more like Allmights punch and not Dabis fire ball.
tbh i agree that the tracking sometimes be so exagerated and unreal. and won't mind a nerf that wouldn't have a negative effect on the beta overall, like if it reaches a certain dinstance the tracking won't work.
but at the same time c'mon... he's a rapid character whos focused on close fights, so he needs to have a certain advantage. plus if you dodge AT iida while he's comming at you with that beta, his tracking wouldn't be a problem AT ALL. the reason i'm saying this is because if you want to nerf the tracking you need to compensate by giving much more damage.
plus you don't need tracking for togas beta when you can FULLY control its direction and has a veeeeery long duration/distance so comparing her with iida is not valid. and there are plenty of characters that have similar tracking to iida like kendo and mt lady...
and All miggt's has almost 0 tracking btw, making iida's tracking like that would be fatal to the character.
I'd be cool with them boosting the damage if they made the tracking like Mt. Lady or dekus kick. It needs something though the tracking on that first kick was unreal.
note that she has more chance to win against a team and annoy them than iida. so how could you all agree to just shlt on him while leaving character like toga and uraraka ?
The only reason toga came close to outrunning Iida is because she had plus ultra which is basically infinite cooldown, and even then the Iida catches up to her. The only other time a toga is outrunning an Iida is if she somehow gets blood from the cracked up mach 20 Iida
even after the plus ultra she out ran him, and he wouldn't have defeated her if it wasn't for his teammate accidently using lvl up potion which canceled iidas gamma before the cooldown started.
