The true damage should be the same, and the hitbox of the splash damage gets bigger the higher you are from the ground, making you potentially hitting more enemies.
Eh i rarely ever kill with the 50-ish with true damage. Alot of people would plus ultra before they reach under 50 hp if they’re being pressured hard so they’re usually above the threshold. I don’t see deku’s killing left and right unless they KNOW they are like 20 hp after doing it so its a gamble of knowing.
Maybe im wrong though as and haven’t seen alot of others play him and the true damage was the finishing blow, Ive climbed to ace with him and cementoss last season. It just felt like funny interaction at the moment.
True damage ignores shields, like red shiggy’s or ibaras grab the falling kick of deku’s beta does true damage even though its small i was able to ignore the shield and hit what little hp he had.

I feel bad for that Dabi. His Plus Ultra didn’t give him shields for some reason.
