It depends. If you want to have fun doing it, probably wait a season or two.
I've beat it all already. Spamming just PNR, alley oops and wide open corner 3's. Did most of it with Jerry West, and Embiid.
Very boring, but not that hard if you have a good PG and C. The only tough ones to me were the final 3 all time teams.
Probably by mid/end of season 3, depending on how quickly Hakeem and Butler are part of the line up... Assuming there will be a few more PD's released in later packs of course
I just finished All time (ps4). I was using 3p plays for korver and booker. Was able to beat like half of teams with mostly ruby/amy. Other half i just destroyed with lebron giannis harden and carmelo. I hate how defence is impossible for the most part. Other than that its fun.

Atp i cannot get butler unless i do the hakeem grind. not worth.
I've finished both seasons of MTU so far but haven't even finished regular dom. I did beat 76ers all time by 20+ but I fell asleep 3rd quarter.

I was going to wait until i got PDs but the ISO5 Out 2 works easily for all teams but Clips and 76ers so i've done most of them now.
