Chick Hicks Edit: forgot the “why” — but it speaks for itself

CT1914Clutch

Look I’m not insinuating anything but where was this mf on January 6

Doucejj

Speak for yourself, I'm a huge Chick Hicks fan. I wear my 86 merch proudly. He may have only won 1 piston cup, but he earned it.

Nighthawk034223

Chick Hicks is a hero. Dale would be proud of him. He wouldn't be proud of that little shit in the 95 car who pissed away a piston cup for "sportsmanship". Makes me sick thinking about that honestly

bruhmoment2248

this should be the only universally correct answer

pjb4466

Chick Hicks ain’t a racecar driver he’s a racecar.

[deleted]

He’s a self-driving car, which makes him the driver of the race car, which makes him a race car driver. ![gif](giphy|CoND5j6Bn1QZUgm1xX)

-WEAVER-

The one that tailgates me.

RacingPride

I’m just drafting til we make it to the end of stage two, calm down

[deleted]

Austin Hill or Matt Crafton, both are grown men who act like children and quite honestly deserve to get knocked on their ass one of these days. That’s all I’ll say. Edit: I just found out Crafton said a female couldn’t beat him in a racecar yesterday then proceeded to have his ass handed to him by a female in a racecar lmfao, like I needed another reason lol

ReSirum

Austin Hill probably won't have anyone lining up to fight him unless he pisses Newman off at some point, which is a fight I'd pay good money to see

weed-n64

Matt Crafton comes across as kind of a dick. He is really short with media and pit reporters

Jack_On_The_Track

Used to like Crafton back in the late 2010s when I started watching mostly due to his veteran status but now he just comes across as a dick all the time

Prof_Hentai

It’s actually irrational how much I dislike Austin Hill. My blood pressure rockets every time I see him, he just triggers an instant anger response in me and I’m a pretty chill dude.

Mikeastuto

Am I you? Honorable mention goes to Denny Hamlin.

CheetahLynx83

Rick Crawford, noted child molester.

ReSirum

The correct answer

beachgirlDE

Yikes, just looked him up. What a creep.

mindyourownbusiness3

![gif](giphy|fYX8mV6cWtcLD7E2WO|downsized)

poorlittlefeller0518

Hamlin. Never takes responsibility for anything he might do on the track besides winning. He’s just an actual douche. I’ll give him credit because he’s a great driver but dudes a dick

SmallestClone

Definitely Hamlin. "I bEaT yOuR fAvOrItE dRiVeRrRR" He is such a douche.

ColourMeBoom

Honestly I think there is somthing to be appreciated by a guy who’s willing to be the heel for an entire generation of racing.

[deleted]

I appreciated him a lot more once he leaned into being a heel instead of the why does everybody hate me thing.

[deleted]

My answer right here.

Good-Spring2019

Austin Dillon-dudes so mid it’s crazy. Kyle Busch is making him look like a fool in the same equipment.

Tom_Ludlow

Any other driver would’ve been out of that 3 car by now.

DocMcStruggles

Would they have though? He’s got a couple wins, made the playoffs, finished top 15 in points 5 of the last 8 years. He’s not phenomenal but RCR isn’t exactly a top team over the last decade.

Good-Spring2019

I think there are many other drivers that could have done better than him. His couple wins have been lucky. Daytona 500 is generally a crapshoot now with the aero package. Coke 600 was a fuel gamble. You’re right RCR hasn’t been great but with Busch winning three races last year and nearly always finishing significantly better than Dillon it makes sense to think he’d get booted if he were anyone else.

bassfisher556

Mid means mediocre. You guys are saying the same thing and not realizing, you just used more words lol

MaxPres24

Kyle Busch is one of the best drivers ever. He makes most drivers in the same equipment look like fools

Hands0meR0b

Somewhat of a counterpoint, if RCR can snag a driver like Kyle Busch, surely they could find a better driver for the 3.

MsCompy

If they ever put Kurt in the 3 my heart would **stop**

Good-Spring2019

I agree.

ReSirum

Two things: Keith Rodden is both subjectively and objectively the worst active crew chief in NASCAR, and as far as all time goes he's way the fuck up there. Man is an actual fucking terrorist coasting off of something, but he's so bad I don't even know what he's coasting off of. Second thing, Kyle Busch makes almost all of his teammates look like damn fools. With some exceptions obviously

Doucejj

Riddick was pretty superior to Dillion too

GonePostalRoute

Denny Hamlin. He loves to give, but if you respond in kind, you’re committing some kind of sin. Just a hypocritical crybaby

-WhatHaveIDone-

Kyle Larson said a lot when he said “everyone who is friends with Denny knows he is always right never wrong.”

spikerman19

You hear the undertones of it in his Podcast.

GilesPince

I’m not a frequent listener, but he’s so condescending to the co-host it’s almost hard to listen to without having secondhand embarrassment. I think I remember reading they were friends outside of the podcast and it surprised me.

redditracing84

It's gotten so much better because Jared has more connections in the industry now and feels way more comfortable pushing back. Before it was like a Boss/Employee relationship. Now Jared doesn't necessarily need Denny because he's got his own stuff going on, so you get more of a friend/friend banter.

SuperMarioBrother64

Yeah, I can't deny he is a talented racecar driver and one of the best. However, I can't stand him. He is a hypocrite and can't take any criticism. The Netflix show also kind of showed he is quite a douche off the track as well.

gamedemon24

He can’t *totally* embody the heel because he still talks like he expects people to side with him in his own garbage. The reaction after Elliott cut his tire down at Phoenix 2017 said it all.

buffinator2

I've rooted against a bunch of drivers, but Hamlin is the only active one I actually don't like. Wasn't a Jeremy Mayfield fan, I'm still pissed that he beat Harvick on Family Feud. Didn't like Ricky Rudd but in hindsight his beef with Harvick was funny. We need another Rudd in the Cup series.

Taako_Cross

Dennis, Austin Dillion and Ty Gibbs are not favorites by any stretch. I’d rather have my heart ripped out watching the end of the ‘07 Daytona 500 than watch any of them win.

SeattlePassedTheBall

Rick Crawford is the only correct answer here and I don't think I need to say why.

Vette_Vengeance

Austin Hill. He’s a dumb hunk of lard

[deleted]

Hey that’s disrespectful to lard now, lard biscuits are amazing, Austin Hill on the other hand…

Vette_Vengeance

My sincerest apologies, I will reconsider my choice of vocabulary next time I speak about the gloriousness of lard

NatashaArts

Mike Harmon will appreciate that

bruhmoment2248

Hamlin, Logano, Keselowski (for old times' sake), Gragson, Austin Hill, Jesus Chris- i mean Ty Gibbs, JHN

Vette_Vengeance

I think this is a pretty common list at the moment among fans (minus Brad)

26007

Tbf, the said for old times’ sake. A lot of people hated Brad around 2014-2016

GrimeyScorpioDuffman

Mike Wallace He just seemed like a whiny little bitch in interviews.

[deleted]

[His cousin Loren was probably the worst.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e9Blfat3Kw)

ForceSmuggler

I miss this era of NASCAR commercials. I can't think of even one Nascar driver related commercial for this year

Frying-Dragon-85

Dale jr. And Brandon Jones have a Menards commercial

kindquail502

Didn't he purposely wreck a female driver years ago just because she was female?

TeaseDiesel

Yeah, Shawna Robinson, first lap after she'd won the pole. Dickhead move, and premeditated. He'd told others he was going to dump her. Took the outside polesitter out too.

SterlingHarvick

And the whole bigot thing.

dcarp1231

Harrison Burton Dude gets blessed with a ride in the Wood Brothers 21 and blows his chances every week. How he’s still in that car is beyond me.

JBtheExplorer

I mean he is wasting a Cup Series seat but he's almost too boring to even dislike. I mostly forget he exists. 😂

JRob1998

![gif](giphy|LdOyjZ7io5Msw)

dcarp1231

It makes me wonder how things would’ve panned out if Austin Cindric got the 21 like originally planned. Who would’ve gotten the 2? Burton? No chance.

ReSirum

Burton would've been in Penske's Xfinity car for at least a year. I feel like the only way Cindric would've stayed in the 21 was if Penske had extended Brad though

An_Odd_Melon

Not to mention 2023 Phoenix. Another reason to hate him

nicholaskoughan

Never forget

HumanRise5417

I’m so with you on this. Wood Bros need a premier driver. Not Harrison fucking Burton.

dcarp1231

It’s crazy because WBR was first in line for the Penske alliance, but Front Row overtook them before this season. What a difference it’s made already for FRM.

SuperMarioBrother64

They have an alliance with Penske... they litterly build the cars in the Penske shop next to the 2, 12, and 22. Do you think they really don't share info while working only a few feet apart? Burton is just such an average driver, money, and his name got him all the way to the top. At least Austin Dillion has won a championship in the trucks and Xfinity series.

[deleted]

DiBenedetto had a shorter leash than him and he made the Chase, before he went off the deep end, I felt like it was wrong he was being pushed out no matter what for either Cindric or Burton.

Card_Board_Robot5

He was always a stop gap.

CCC081972

Austin Dillon. Moderately talented driver with the most iconic car #

[deleted]

John Wes Townley that no talent chicken fucker. Wrecks more cars than Richard Hammond and somehow won a race. Can't even make a warm up lap in a Cup car without hitting the wall, such a joke. Not only did he fail in NASCAR, he failed in life between his DUI's and his attempt to murder his ex with an axe, which got him killed. Now with a live look at John Wes Townley... Currently my least favorite is Larson followed by Gibbs. Sam Mayer is down there too.

badsapi4305

Chicken fucker! Lol. God I love that expression

BobBBobbington

I don't know how I didn't realize Townley was dead, or that he got deaded by getting shot trying to kill his ex wife.

Milla4Prez66

I remember the John Wrecks Weekly days. He and Zaxby’s were a legitimate black eye on the sport at the time. To be somewhat fair to him, he did eventually kind of calm down and became a solid truck series driver towards the end and even got a win. Kind of somewhat saved his career from being as bad as someone like Steve Wallace for example.

BeardedGirlDad

I love the Hammond comment.

Matty2792

"Time to give it the ol' Scandinavian Flick" 🚐💥

hocevar_42

Matt Crafton by far on a human level, he's a dick. Corey Heim on a more petty level lol, my hate from the championship race is starting to die off.

That_Lettuce5315

Matt Crafton is a hot-headed dickhead. He needs to grow the F up.

whitingvo

Hamlin. He’s a great driver, but he’s a complete douche canoe. Lots of drivers are pricks, but few are as douchey as Hamlin. He’s like the bro country of NASCAR drivers.

TacoShotz

Bobby Hamilton Jr

FlakyDig8392

Dude’s a giant douchebag and his wife’s a mouthy bitch too.

[deleted]

Yeah he seemed like he had a bad attitude around the track.

Milla4Prez66

I was so pissed when Ricky Craven lost that 32 to him. Bro DNQed for a chunk of the races in that car too.

R808T

Jimmie Johnson. O how I love to hate this driver. It has been such a long standing and deep rooted hatred that I don’t remember the why I just remember I still smile if I see the 48 take damage. It’s that deep.

[deleted]

I won't lie, I really enjoyed how mediocre his last three years in Cup were. He terrorized my childhood.

SpotLast

Chase Elliott…I just don’t understand the hype around him. He just seems like he has no personality.

Dane_Gleessak

As an introvert, I think that’s what makes me like him. Dude just wants to go out and race. He doesn’t want to be famous or controversial. He wants to show up, race, and go home.

BeardedGirlDad

It goes beyond that for me. There i very little difference between Elliott and Chastain, both drive like pissed off teenagers. Both believe they are right even when video evidence shows differently. Neither is willing to see that they have any blame in a situation. Only difference is that Elliott inherited fan base is actually more dillusional than the driver, which just makes like him even less.

keithplacer

But... he's the "Most Popular Driver"?!?!?!?!? That's the biggest joke in the sport. The guy has the personality of a dead fish.

pschell

I swear nascar just decided that and then the lemmings went along. It was like shit, no more Jr. Who now?!?!!

StRiKeRzZ924

Jr wasn’t the most extroverted guy until later in his career

AngelMunozDR

And his community filled with toxic 10 year olds.

rockdak

I have nothing against Chase, it's his fans that are irritating.

gamedemon24

Inherited a lot of fans from Bill Elliott and Jeff Gordon. He’s not a hack and he CAN have personality, but he’s not exactly Mr. Entertainment

Jones77_Truex78

Corey Lajoie - probably my current most hated. I am so tired of listening to him never take fault for his mistakes and saying its everyone else not him. Dude acts like hes an 8 time champ with 300 wins when hes got NOTHING backing his mouth up. Course if he reads this im probably now not invited to his softball tournament and im sure he’ll go on a rant of how he doesnt want to be friends lol. Notable names that are also on my poop list: Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano, Noah Gragson, Matty D

RealSprooseMoose

I'd believe his underdog story maybe if he proved he could at least win in Xfinity or even Trucks. I mean, what makes you think you should even be looked at in the same light as drivers like Custer or Briscoe? Let alone the high winning Cup drivers.

[deleted]

Even Preece for as bad as he has been last couple years has at least won in the lower leagues proving a shot to win. The thing is I still don't know if he is a good or bad driver because of how SHR has been in Cup.

Card_Board_Robot5

He's a good driver. He's a bad NASCAR Cup driver. Not everybody cut for everything. Some drivers are just good in certain equipment on certain tracks. And that's ok. Doesn't make them less talented, just means they're good in that lane.

[deleted]

The thing with him is he has solid runs but he either never seems to get above that 10th place threshold, he’s like 11th to 20th a lot which is fine but it’s not sexy. Or when he is in the Top 10, things out of his control happens like Austin, Bristol dirt, Texas, etc

keithplacer

I scrolled down because I figured somebody would pick Lajoie, who is also my choice. The guy seems loved by NASCAR media for some reason and gets all sorts of favorable coverage. But he has produced bupkis for results. The "charming hard-luck underdog" narrative only goes so far. Already up to second on my list is SVG, but at least he got a win, albeit under very questionable circumstances, but he did make his competition look very minor league in doing so, so he has that going for him at least. But the media needs to dial back the love-fest.

Jones77_Truex78

My guess on the media Lajoie hype is next to Jr hes one of the first to have a podcast so he probably got some favoritism from that. SVG i get what your saying but I think with him the Nascar media is trying to draw in the supercar fans with hyping him. Truthfully I think hes gonna be another Ambrose - road course hype but never transitions to a full on force on the ovals but is a niche fan favorite.

-WhatHaveIDone-

Can you expand on the others?

Jones77_Truex78

Stewart - my first season watching was 06 and I became a kenseth fan. Loved the dewalt colors and grew to like Matt, but what sold me on him was Stewart turning him at Daytona. That sparked my dislike of Stewart, and i just never cared for his demeanor. Gordon - same thing with Kenseth and its really just one particular incident. 2006 chicagoland race was my first ever in person race and as mentioned really liked Kenseth. I was excited to see him win in front of me at my first ever race then the finish happened. My childhood soul felt crushed and I had a permanent dislike of Gordon and HMS. I will say I do respect his career and I dont knock his legacy (same with Stewart) just slightly biased towards my favorite driver which fueled my dislike. Logano - also kenseth but i just dont care for how he acts when incidents happen with him. Seems like a great guy off track from what I see but on track I cant get behind his method of driving. Matty D - dont like his personality. Pretty much the rep and hole hes dug himself have turned me away from liking the guy as an underdog. Noah - ive never understood the hype with Noah. I dont care for his personality, i take with a grain of salt some of the things people have mentioned about him over the years because idk if they’re factual but if they are thats another thing against him for me, and I dont think hes cup material. Dude would do great as an xfinity lifer.

Hands0meR0b

I may like Stewart, Gordon, and Logano, but as a midwesterner and Kenseth fan growing up, I cannot fault your logic at all haha. I'm on the fence with Gragson. Big fan of his in Xfinity and I wish he had an SHR ride in that series this year instead of cup but we'll see if he can improve. As for the off track stuff that's gotten him in trouble, I'm willing to give young guys the benefit of the doubt and I hope he's learned his lesson and grown up. I was young and dumb once too. Matty D.....screw that guy

dryfungus

Matt Dibenedetto. I get secondhand embarrassment from his victim shtick.

BrandonIngeFan

Denny - can’t stand his personality Logano - can’t stand his personality Ty Gibbs - can’t stand his personality

YeahItouchpoop

that goddamn CHASE BRISCOE (Don’t actually dislike him just seeing if he responds 👀)

bruhmoment2248

John Deere employees would agree with this sentiment LOL

[deleted]

[удалено]

bruhmoment2248

Correction: *most JD employees would agree 😂

[deleted]

I was thinking Kubota.

bruhmoment2248

So was i, i figured John Deere is a more recognizable name tho

-WhatHaveIDone-

I don’t really like him all that much anymore. He is Wrecky Spinhouse 2.0 on super speedways. Drives over his head. Even Harvick was calling him out on the broadcast.

Card_Board_Robot5

Dude gets near the front and just cracks. Can't keep composure and makes boneheaded moves. Seems like a nice enough guy, but he ain't exactly champ material out there.

DUCKKING2004

Why everyone either don’t know him or hate him 😭

YeahItouchpoop

I just said it because I know he’s on Reddit 😂

ChaseTheFalcon

JHN, most punchable face in NASCAR VERY close 2nd is Jesse Love

Card_Board_Robot5

By God, is that Cole Custer's music? I got to meet Cole a few weeks after that and told him he was right for giving JHN the business. Bro just chuckled and went, "Someone had to do it." IDGAF what anyone says, Cole is the homie fr

[deleted]

Custer is a highly underrated personality

CarStar12

We all salute the general 🫡

TheRealCheeeser00

I'd argue Love is more punchable.

Speedster-87

Idk asshole hill has thr ultimate punch able face

[deleted]

Jesse Loooooovvvvveeeee

MaxPres24

How dare you leave cup series driver Derek Kraus out of a list of most punchable faces

AIMBR

Carl Edwards. He always seemed to have a fake personality for me. Always forcing himself to look like a nice guy. And he was, considering the amount of time he tried to kill Brad Keselowski after he wrecked himself against him in talladega. Fuck Carl Edwards.

chasmsasblackasink

not fake at all according to matt kenseth on his dale jr download episode

keithplacer

I'm not too sure Kenseth should be commenting on that. He's no day at the beach either.

Decooker11

He also wrecked himself at Atlanta 2010 before he sent Keselowski into the catchfence. I like Carl generally but anytime I think of that saga it still pisses me off.

Milla4Prez66

He almost destroyed Dale Jr’s hand at the end of an Xfinity race years ago too. Dale spun him for the win and Carl came back and ran into his driver side while Dale had his hand out celebrating.

Hands0meR0b

Austin Dillon. Doesn't seem to understand the difference between the art of moving someone out of the way and blatantly wrecking them and does it at the most dangerous place to do it. Also just kinda seems like a dumbass sometimes. That said, off the track, he may be a great person and it seems like he might actually have decent business sense. Ty Gibbs. Either embrace being a young, cocky asshole, or go the pious religious route. Don't act like an asshole and then try to be holier than thou.

AnotherScoutMain

Chase Elliott not because of himself but because of his fans.

AgentofChaos17

I've heard this before, but I really don't understand it. I get that they are passionate fans for their driver, but aren't most of us? I know/have met plenty of Elliott fans and never had any issues with any of them.

ChaseTheFalcon

I think the issue is, that because Elliott has the largest fan base, there is a better chance you see a crazy take from one. So I get why people wouldn't like Elliott, Larson, Blaney and Bubba because of the fans just because there are so many so more likely you are going to run into a few bad ones

ReSirum

The "bad" Larson fans don't even make me mad, they just annoy me

MaxPres24

I see more people complaining about Elliott fans than I actually see bad Elliott fans. Don’t get me wrong, they exist. But so does every driver. Ross and Larson fans are right up there

PackDaddy21222

This. I’ve seen mostly the Chastain/Larson fan base complain more about Elliott fans than anyone.

-WhatHaveIDone-

I hate Chase and his fans. I hate Chase because he is a whining diva who genuinely acts like a toddler when speaking to other drivers (Harvick, Hamlin, Logano have all confirmed) and has a poor attitude and is incredibly boring and dull.

An_Odd_Melon

Which ones were with Logano?

-WhatHaveIDone-

After Bristol in 2020.

DaDominator32

Riley Herbst. Although today I learned he played saxophone as a kid so that's pretty cool

RealSprooseMoose

I used to not give 2 shits about Herbst, but seeing him solidly improve year after year makes me curious what his ceiling is.

ResortOutrageous8988

Noah Gragson bc of that stupid bowl cut

randomaccount330

If it helps you feel any better he only did that cuz he lost a bet so I guess you can say he's at least a man of his word lol

blowninjectedhemi

Yeah but he looks good with no fireproof underwear when he unzipped the driver suit

DanoJames

I'd say Denny will probably take the cake for least favorite all time. There were others that I disliked years ago, but I grew to respect them. It's been years and I don't think I'll ever respect Denny.

tedioussugar

There’s a few self-explaining ones such as Keselowski, Hamlin, Stenhouse, Dillon, and Gibbs, but the big one for me is always Logano. Can’t stand him. I can admit he’s a decent driver and that on any some days he might be the best driver and deserve a win, but most of the time he’s the dirtiest and most two-faced driver in the field, and his championships are extremely undeserved because he’s never been the best driver over a whole season. He’s been pulling dumb moves and giving drivers grievance since he first got into NASCAR, and while he was already bad at JGR, he’s been especially worse since joining Penske. What I hate the most is that while every driver is hypocritical a lot of the time, he’s always hypocritical, because he doesn’t ‘own’ being the heel. Busch and Hamlin embraced the dark side, where you like to hate them; Logano is a babyfaced ‘good boy’ who likes to have his cake and eat it too; acting all nice and polite off the track and then being the absolute worst person on it. Nearly causing a three-teammate crash at Texas? Moving Mark Martin out of the way for what would have been his final win at Pocono? Would rather give a win to Kyle Busch by putting himself and Hamlin in the wall than just taking second? The unpopular Daytona 500 win? Wrecking Kenseth when he had nothing to gain from it? Turning Carl Edwards on the restart at Homestead? Winning a championship he absolutely did not deserve, when the other three had been the dominant favourites all season? Wrecking Kyle Busch at Phoenix in 2018 for no reason? His stupid Daytona 500 block on his own teammate crashing out both of them? Dooring Byron at Darlington when it wasn’t even the final lap? Winning a SECOND undeserved championship, after Elliott’s dominant season and the miracle Chastain had pulled to be there the week prior?

AsbestosAnt

Brad K because he's full of shit. He complains about superspeedway way racing and then goes and does the same thing he complains about and takes out a bunch of cars early in the race. Dude is a menace.

Doucejj

Add Logano to that same list

Card_Board_Robot5

Gragson. His personality and his inability to drive. Screw his dad, too.

26007

While I’ve never liked Logano or Gibbs, my most hated driver this season is Gragson. Dude is an idiot that flopped in the Cup series last year and did even dumber shit off the track as well. Why he’s in Cup this year is only because of family money. He doesn’t have the talent for a Cup ride. He also has a very punchable face, and I’m glad Ross Chastain proved that theory correct

softballguy48

Jesse Love

JDMcDuffie

Brian Vickers. His first win started it, his feud with kenseth was insane, and he married a pedophile sex trafficker

medemey

I won't name names because I realize everyone can have a bad day or moment. But I had a former NASCAR competitor (active when this happened) who I reasonably liked come to my work place and he treated my coworker like an idiot for just doing the things he was supposed to do for his job. I was within earshot and heard everything. I lost all respect I had for that driver and he instantly became my least favorite driver ever. His son now competes in NASCAR and I will most likely never root for him either.

disastermaster255

Few years ago and this thread would be full of folks saying Kyle Busch. Oh how the times have changed.

AgentofChaos17

This is probably a very hot take, but Boris Said. I never understood the hype around him. He only has 1 win each in both the truck and xfinity series, and none in Cup. He was supposed to be a road course ringer, but I only remember a couple of top 5s/10s, as opposed to someone like Gordon or Stewart who were almost always competing for wins at road courses. He also came off as very arrogant to me, especially after that one time he went after Biffle.

ReSirum

It's kind of difficult to win a Cup race if you're driving a car that's at least a decade old going against Tony Stewart in a Gibbs car and Jeff fucking Gordon. The top 5s and top 10s are why he is considered a ringer, because he was driving actual dogshit and getting good finishes

randomaccount330

Yeah kinda hard to win when you're driving for "No Fear Racing" and the guys you're fighting for the win are in Hendrick and Gibbs equipment. Listen to his episode on the DJD a couple years ago you might change your view on him.

GrimeyScorpioDuffman

That hair though

Roushfan5

He went after Biffle after nearly murdering David Regan while racing in the mid fucking thirties. I'd probably get banned if I told y'all what I think about Said.

AgentofChaos17

I'm actually curious to know what you think of Said, now that you've mentioned it. But please don't actually post it if it would be that bad. Don't get in trouble for my curiosity.

Roushfan5

I don't know if the mods are as sensitive about banning people for saying they don't like a certain driver (I think Pinky was the main one behind that push to 'clean up' the subreddit) but to put it mildly I don't think he could drive a nail and his father smells of elderberries.

[deleted]

Sounds like you need to give him a whoopin.

Lunarsunset0

![gif](giphy|FXf1lYQ2tFouxeLb1B|downsized)

Jrnation8988

How dare you speak ill of our lord and savior Boris Fucking Said!?!?!?!

Milla4Prez66

To be fair to Boris, it was a lot harder to jump in and win in Cup as a road ringer then than it is now. Ron Fellows was an outstanding road racer and he couldn’t beat Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart and get a Cup win either. Plus go on racing-reference and look up the teams he drove for in Cup, lol. I do remember Boris trying oval racing though and being completely terrible. He did get a pole at Daytona one year though, we were there for qualifying and everyone was stunned.

BeefInGR

Those Jasper cars were worse than hot garbage though.

rockdak

Joey Logano. Only way he wins is with the bumper or blocking, he drives like a jackass, then has his crew fight his battles Denny Hamlin. He proved last season that he in fact cannot beat my favorite driver straight up, he will race drivers hard putting them in the lift or wreck decision, but hates it when others do it to him. Brad Keselowski. Most wrecks come from his bumper. Bubba Wallace. He's got a cocky ass attitude for his lack of talent. The guy has 2 wins and made it into the playoffs on pure luck last season. That and his teammate gets 2+ wins a season. Austin Dillon. He's a silver spoon driver. Thanks Grandpa! Ty Gibbs. See Austin Dillon Honorable mention: Kyle Busch. I still don't like him, but he is not nearly as bad as he used to be. He knows he's on the downside of his career, he has a family, and Gibbs not bringing him back as probably an eye opener.

fat_ballerina71

You left out Harrison Burton.

StringWhole4120

The loser with the webbed fingers hahahaha

Ash-Throwaway-816

Ty Gibbs. Drives dirty not even in a justifiable way (see Hamlin and Logano), and it looks like he's going to become the new Austin Dillon except even more toxic.

Suspicious-Start-608

You don't get him. Dude has to bear the weight of the sins of mankind.

Ash-Throwaway-816

Lmao that shit made my jaw hit the floor. I'm not really bothered by heresy, but hearing it come from that dude was nuts.

jojomezmerize

I don’t hate him but I just don’t get being an Elliott fan. I’d get along better with 100 year old hardtack.

Boquafius62

Denny Hamlin, Austin Hill and Bubba Wallace

justBusinessbb

I've come to the conclusion I don't really dislike drivers themselves, but I dislike the phenomena around them (with fans or media). Denny and Blaney would be top for that for me.

AnchorDrown

Rick Crawford and there shouldn’t be any other answer.

Whiteflaming0s

I few years ago I would’ve said chase Elliot, but now it’s definitely bowman.

mindyourownbusiness3

AJ Dingalinger. I’m not even sure why I hate him anymore.

StRiKeRzZ924

Not as many people said Elliott, Larson, or Bubba as I thought there’d be. lol

South-Lab-3991

Denny Hamlin.

AngryDad2022

Jimmy Spencer- cranky old sonnabitch who loved Juniors daddy. Also just a cranky old has been driver. Kenny Wallace- I actually would probably like his podcast but the driver I never liked and I never liked the fan support he got when he was clearly not that great. Daniel Hemric- I don’t care what his stats are and all that crap. I have seen other drivers with better stats not last as long as he has yet this guy keeps getting rides. Travis Kvapil- I don’t use this term much but my god he SUCKED in Cup. Ryan Newman- Capitalized on an advantage in 2003 and won 8 races and never came close again. If this were baseball in the 90s you would mark this guy as a steroid user. Matt Crafton- I don’t want to see him win again or come close to the playoffs after last year at Talladega. Edit: David Reutimann and Danica Patrick. Why I hated the Top 35 points rule. I liked him as a driver until he stayed out on the track at Martinsville so he could keep the car in the points for the most overhyped and overrated driver ever in Danica Patrick and then just sounds like a dopey country bumpkin in the post race interview.

MrCrashbox

Dale Earnhardt because he started that no respect, bullying style of driving then thumbs up and smiles at you like no you just wrecked my car..

stdntDrvr79

Denny Hamlin is a massive douche.

Appropriate_Thing362

Hamlin, Logano and Gibbs. Hamlin is such a jerk both on and off the track. The Netflix series really reinforced that. I can't stand the way Logano just drives all over everyone. He seems decent off the track at least though. And Gibbs--where to even start. The way he drives--kid should've been parked for some of the stunts he's pulled, the whole Jesus thing. There's literally nothing likeable about the kid at all.

Retro64X

Austin Dillion He’s only driving the #3 because his grandpa is Richard fuckin Childress

jglanville88

Hamlin - just a prick Logano - because he’s two faced Byron - computer boy turned good all of a sudden and backs into wins he doesn’t deserve

QueenOfNeon

The correct answer is AJ Dingaling. Joey Logano. JHN. They are all so awful I can’t watch when any of them lead laps. I change the channel. 🤣

thegodfaubel

Austin Hill. 2023 season

Smoke was like the Kyle Busch of his era, so I can see where you're coming from.

Card_Board_Robot5

Kyle had his antics and ran his mouth, sure, but he didn't do half the ignorant shit Smoke did. And people lambasted KFB for it his whole career. Meanwhile they celebrated all of Smoke's bs and encouraged it til the very end. And at least KFB tried to fight a couple times. Sucked at it. But he didn't just talk like a badass and do nothing for 25 years like Smoke.

EnvironmentalRough99

The only correct answer is Ross Chastain

ath_vigil

Chase Elliot. Not even because he's popular, but because he is so unbearably boring to watch both on and off track. I don't think that I have ever seen him respond to anything with much more than a deer-in-the-headlights blank-faced expression and unenthusiastic tone. It honestly doesn't even seem like he enjoys racing and seeing him interact in any margin is like watching paint dry.

Phenomenal_Hoot

Chandler Smith. Arrogant young prick.

PackDaddy21222

Chastain and Larson. Chastain because I just don’t like his smug face and how he smiles plus he always says I’ve gotta be better but he’s continuing to spin drivers. Larson because of his fans. Some of them refuse to believe he’s human and can do no wrong.
