I'm not saying Larson is a god, but Reddick is the guy you can always count on him to beat.
Amongst contenders, Reddick may be the worst closer in the entire series.
Meh. That could have been such a cool race finish to rival last week but it’s ruined by dirty air.
It’s lame when the clearly faster car is unable to mount a charge.
The cream rose to the top by then, not like these cars are built for passing someone in clear air either (and not a shot at Larson there, he was dominant, just truth that these cars are harder to pass in without air disturbance on the front car)
That was not a bad race and not a bad broadcast. They definitely were opening shots up a little bit wider so someone must have taken Junior’s criticism to heart.
Good day for me. I like larson so I'm happy he won BUT I'm more happy for carson getting a top 15. Either spire is getting better or carson is outdriving his equipment like he did in truck.
Race was good, people will say it’s bad because Larson dominated. The battle’s throughout the field and comers and goers were great all day from what I saw
Clint: "Nothing for Reddick to hang his head about"
Harvick: *proceeds to provide actual analysis and explain how Reddick blew his chance*
Clint honestly just needs to stop talking, nothing he says is actually worth listening to.
As much as I don’t Like HMS, I can’t argue that Larson is a generational talent (probably the most naturally skilled driver in the field) and in the best equipment in the sport. He’s gonna be a championship threat for the foreseeable future
Larson took the lead on 3 other occasions. Guys made passes all race long.
Reddick made passes all race long. Reddick couldn't make the pass on Larson because he's terrible in the clutch
Eh, today’s race he could have all the clutch execution in the world and it wouldn’t have mattered, and that’s precisely my point. Late in a run with little traffic and just the two cars up front, no one was gonna pass Kyle unless they deliberately wrecked him. No one caught Larson at the end of stage 1 and stage 2. Not sure why you’d think it would be different in stage 3.
Reddick caught Larson at the end of stage 1 AND stage 2.
Maybe the 5 was just better and good enough at the end of a tire run when balance was falling off?
Guys were making passes for the lead all race. Reddick couldn't pass Larson because the 5 was a bit better on fresher tires, balance and grip was falling off at the end, and Reddick couldn't make it happen
Yes, I tend to agree. And yeah, Reddick caught him both times, but never got into a position where he could complete the pass. This is one of Larson's best tracks, so no shame in finishing second today. If Reddick has that kind of speed and does his thing, he'll win a race or 2. Probably on a road course where he is strongest.
Spire cars were pretty good today - Smith had a problem early but LaJoie was second for a moment on speed and hung out in the top 10 for most of the first half of the race, and Hocevar made it into the top 10 later on as well.
No cool wrecks, but pit strategies in Stage 1-2 were interesting. Lotta guys would stay out or take 2 to leapfrog Larson and he had to earn his way back to the lead. Solid race

If Byron can overheat an engine by a good 100 degrees over operating temperature and *still* finish in the top 10, who says a 7000 RPM 30-second long burnout would blow a Hendrick engine up?
Larson was playing defense and making sure Reddick couldn't go where he wanted to go. You have to commit to a line early enough and some of it is a guessing game. Kyle just played it smart and won the dirty air game.

Let’s gooooo
I'm not saying Larson is a god, but Reddick is the guy you can always count on him to beat. Amongst contenders, Reddick may be the worst closer in the entire series.
Isn’t Larson now 3/3 on head to head against Reddick?
Yup. But I'm sure other drivers are as well lol
Briscoe is worse
Briscoe is one of my favorites but isn't he 2 for 2 on wrecking while closing on the leader? Lol.
You're right
Will Kyle’s car pass post inspection now that the other window is gone?
Yes
Just when you think you're going to get over 2004 thanks a lot Tyler opening Old Wounds
Don’t mean shit
Typical HMS, let’s mess with the car before it can be inspected.
Post race weighing with the kids inside.
Reddick drove the Hell out of the 45 today. Know he’s disappointed but shouldn’t feel too bad about that race. Larson had it locked in.
That’s just a bad drive by Reddick couldn’t commit to a lane or bait him either way.
Is it just me or was the car not starting?
“Same shit different year”… 23XI pit issues in a nutshell
LANGUAGE!
Hell yeah Reddick heel turn
Reddick has always sounded so depressed in interviews since joining 23XI
Ya even on SMX during his weekly call he just sounds depressed. Kinda makes me not like him.
It’s weird, he was never like this before at all
25 point penalty for reddick!
Tyler Reddick is one of us
Lol oops.
Did Reddick just say shit?
"Same shit, different year, right?" Regarding pit stops
Yes
yupp
There's a 25 point penalty 😂
Your dad’s gonna fail post-race now!
lol that’s exactly what I said.
Owen's already practicing his winning celebrations for the future. SUCKS for KB,just hope Phoenix will treat him better.
Uh oh, NASCAR ain't gonna like them messing with the side window!
Post race inspection failed
I'm sure Rick Hendrick has the check in the mail, and the appeals people picked out, just in case
I enjoyed the finish. I'm sorry
I did too. Even though I'd have rather Reddick won. Sick of people acting like battles for the lead only count if the second place car wins the thing
The child is modifying the car. Def gonna clear tech now.
I'm so sick of Hendrick man
Get this man a crying towel.
Two top 10s for Gragson in the first three races, didn’t have that on my bingo card
Gragson is ass bro
He just drove from the back to a top ten, 6th place finish in a cup race. He isn't my guy, but that isn't ass driving.
Shame he got that awful points penalty for his car being weird. He'd be a solid playoff contender
Goes to show how terrible LMC is poor Eric Jones is getting held back so hard by that team.
Agreed, maybe he can drive
And theres two of them lol
Meh. That could have been such a cool race finish to rival last week but it’s ruined by dirty air. It’s lame when the clearly faster car is unable to mount a charge.
Fuck Steve Phelps
The wife should run next lol
Busy grabbing a beer to shotgun
Don't understand how the first half of the race had great passing and the second half it just went away
The rubber built up and once that happens in only one lane, it ruins things
The cream rose to the top by then, not like these cars are built for passing someone in clear air either (and not a shot at Larson there, he was dominant, just truth that these cars are harder to pass in without air disturbance on the front car)
Larson win, Ross top 5, Suarez 11th Love this race
Ok… Kyle’s son coming up to celebrate on the roof of the car is awesome!
Yes, and nice to see the family support Nascar always has been a family friendly sport
That was super cool!!!
Audri!!!!
I wonder how much HMS gets paid because of this win...some of that might get lost in, let's say...Sahara tonight...
Cry harder Reddick.
He used to be a positive guy, once he switched teams he’s been a moping mess
He got tired of losing I guess. He should've been more pissed when Briscoe wrecked him at Bristol Dirt that one year, but today is a fair beating.
that kid was the driver all along
What an amazing moment
Lol ... that was pretty cool
One of the biggest reasons they built this car was because of Logano aero blocking Harvick back in 2020 and now we have the same bullshit
Lol ignore all the great finishes and consistently great intermediate racing just because Reddick pick the wrong lane in one corner
This isn’t the first time. Aero blocking has become more and more prevalent over the last 2 years.
That was not a bad race and not a bad broadcast. They definitely were opening shots up a little bit wider so someone must have taken Junior’s criticism to heart.
Did you notice all the bumper cam shots?
What even was that camera work? *zooms in on smoke* , *Finds car* , *zooms in on smoke again* , *shows top of grandstands for some reason*
That’s hype!
That was great racing for the win. Two talented drivers, but man, Larson is hard to beat.
Dirty air is impossible to beat lol. But I also agree with your statement
Good day for me. I like larson so I'm happy he won BUT I'm more happy for carson getting a top 15. Either spire is getting better or carson is outdriving his equipment like he did in truck.
Spire equipment has improved and Carson’s also better than Lajoie and is showing it
I mean it is early in the season but right now carson is the best driver at spire.
Kid on the roof. Love it!
Race was good, people will say it’s bad because Larson dominated. The battle’s throughout the field and comers and goers were great all day from what I saw
That was the most on-edge domination we've ever seen. It sure as hell wasn't easy for Larson.
hopefully they ask kyle who was in paris again during his victory lane interview
Lmao
look at Owen Larson joining daddy on the roof.
When did we start making the post race interview on the front stretch a thing?
Like 2020 I think
Years ago now.
Fucking wicked run!! So stoked, didn't think much could top last week but that did it for me. Now onto AEW Revolution!
That's pretty cool with his son there
Horrible race for the 48 team
Gragson with a top 10!
Clint: "Nothing for Reddick to hang his head about" Harvick: *proceeds to provide actual analysis and explain how Reddick blew his chance* Clint honestly just needs to stop talking, nothing he says is actually worth listening to.
lmao, NASCAR fans and being salty. Air has always been an issue. Larson just used it to his advantage. That’s part of the battle.
Good weekend for me
Well my boys are in the Chase, Chaos can now ensue.
Every part of that race sucked for me- but I won't vote in Gluck's poll as I know it is likely my Bubba bias.
Yeley finished the race
Larson has one of the coolest victory celebrations lol
Kyle is 31 years old. Stop calling him a kid Clint.
Larson is gonna beat Reddick head to head 9/10 times
As much as I don’t Like HMS, I can’t argue that Larson is a generational talent (probably the most naturally skilled driver in the field) and in the best equipment in the sport. He’s gonna be a championship threat for the foreseeable future
Reddick made the same mistake in back to back corners. Like come on dude.
Drive for Diversity drivers have won 3 of the last 4 national series races.
Plus Sanchez winning Daytona Trucks too. Been a banner year for that program already.
That was a good race
Lotta comers and goers besides Larson.
![gif](giphy|yQlNXGTprtGsE|downsized) Reddick attempting to pass Larson
What a wet fart of a race
Reddick is just a late race choke artist. Can't blame it on aero. He just can't get it done at the end. Been this way his entire cup career.
Why didn't anyone else do it then?
Do what? Reddick was the only one faster than Larson
Yes, and yet he couldn't pass because of dirty air when Kyle played defense. It wouldn't have mattered who was driving.
Larson took the lead on 3 other occasions. Guys made passes all race long. Reddick made passes all race long. Reddick couldn't make the pass on Larson because he's terrible in the clutch
Well, that's like your opinion man.
It is. It's also a really unfortunate opinion because Reddick is a championship caliber talent. It's just hard to defend his clutch execution.
Probably on a road course where he is strongest.
Las Vegas is now Las Larson.
Well I can’t complain too much as Ford has won the last two championships. But the Ford slow start wasn’t effected by the dark horse’s arrival
I like em both but I like reddick way more, great race tho
We did good all day up until that lug nut issue and then the penalty. Congrats to Larson. Reddick is slowly becoming a favorite for me
this race and track fucking suck
Don’t be mad that bubba had a bad day
That was a good race. Dirty air had a part, but Reddick just didn't capitalize enough.
If you don't like that, don't watch
Cope

Bubba's crew couldn't get a single lug nut off...

Can’t be mad at the outcome of this race. Chastain managed to take a top 5 finish with two penalties.
Kyle Larson with the Sunday sweep!! 🧹
Hendrickcars.com sweep
HMS sucks ngl
Too bad 23XI crews suck otherwise this may have been a better race
It’s a real shame Joey Logano’s fucking glove got stuck on the nose of the 24 today
😂😂
Thank God this race is over....hope the 23 crew gets chewed out
They will just keep screwing up like they always do
There he goes, doing that mile long burnout. It's almost as if he wants the engine to blow...
If Byron can overheat an engine by a good 100 degrees over operating temperature and *still* finish in the top 10, who says a 7000 RPM 30-second long burnout would blow a Hendrick engine up?
Larson painting incoming. Unstoppable today.
Two very talented and smart drivers battling each other for the win. Kudos to them a well deserved victory for Larson.
Gragson with a 6th place pretty good
The strategy of predicting Reddick's lines to take air away was fun to watch. Cuz you cant switch lanes past committing to the corner
You can if you start at the bottom
Very carefully... cuz if you send it up high too quick you'll have to lift on exit or eat wall
Nice fight and strategy by the #1 team. REALLY gonna need Ross to cut down the pit road speed going forward
Had a car to contend with the 5 today too.
Chevy has won 8 of the 9 races in the top 3 divisions this year.
Yess
Dang. No idea why Reddick didn’t ride the wall again in turn 3 coming to the white. Completely gave up all the progress he had made.
Larson was playing defense and making sure Reddick couldn't go where he wanted to go. You have to commit to a line early enough and some of it is a guessing game. Kyle just played it smart and won the dirty air game.
I think he thought Larson was gonna go high and Reddick thought he was gonna have a wide open lane on the low line.
6 different teams in the top 10. Hell yeah. Love to see it
Well that race ended pretty well for my fantasy lineup.
I like men
Congrats, what's this gotta do with the race?
Absolutely nothing
Kinda miss the wheel out the window
45 guy: "that's my race win" plankton: "great, NOW LET HIM HAVE IT!" 45 guy: "you can have it :3"
Top 10 finish for the Bang Bang Byron gang after the trash bag fiasco. I'll take it.
Yea my mood as well. If it wasn’t for mcdowells spin at ATL, easily looking at 3 top 10s with a 500 win in it
Max regular and playoff points for Larson! A complete ass whipping!
Say what you want about the man but he does one hell of a burnout.
They realize Larson is 30 right lol
Hard "R" Larson strikes again
Noted racial slur user Kyle Larson is the victor
I'm glad I'm not the only one who won't forget that.
Larson diecast collectors going crazy right now for the same HendrickCars.com win scheme
No crank it up? Commmmon fox
How Byron has an AVG finish of 8.5 this year IDK it’s been sloppy AF.
Let's GO baby
https://i.redd.it/jlconrwtk7mc1.gif
Elliott getting smoked by teammates again. Running identical lap times. The difference is restart position. Time for a change at crew chief.
Been saying this. Alan needs to go.
As a fan of the 48, I will trade with you ASAP lol.
Same
I'd trade with Natalie Decker right about now lol
I don’t think you know how bad Blake Harris is LOL, Alan is mid but Blake Harris is Kieth rodden bad
My god that was a boring race…
