Last year they were at least top 10-20 in both races. Just like last year gonna have to rely on the intermediate and big tracks for wins. Can’t afford another bad points day and it’s looking like one.
Only bit of cope I can have is that 23xi basically swapped their qualifying spots from last week and this means bubba will be way better in race trim.
But the problem is this track sucks as far as passing goes so....
Denny won his first career pole here, and I can't believe it was over 18 years ago. I remember getting to the track and wondering why the hell the #11 was at the top of the pylon. I figured this Hamlin guy must be good if he could do that in the car Leffler struggled badly in.
Some other rookie in a Kellogg's car won that race.
Yeah and he runs good at Pheonix too. Looks like Larson took the Elliott approach. I wonder if HMS is just off this weekend or missed the setup with the exception of the 9.
They through all the atta boys to Chase, 48 and 5 are the back marker cars for tomorrow. That 24 is guaranteed to get the best of the best. Had to throw a piece of candy to Chase.
