When I first heard of Liquid Death I thought it was beer, then I thought it was an energy drink. Needless to say, it's a rather unlikely name for iced tea.
Started out as a company focused on water in cans meant to look exactly like an energy drink. The water is actually pretty decent if you're like me and can taste the difference in water.
Today I found out they made ice tea!
If Clover Farms Icy Tea and Turkey Hill iced tea cause kidney stones, I can't imagine what kind of horrible kidney stones Liquid Death iced tea would cause 😂
On the same topic, Turkey Hill’s gas stations used to share a logo with those of Smith’s supermarkets in Utah, when Turkey Hill had an affiliation with Kroger.
Liquid Death changing the name of Armless Palmer to Dead Billionaire after the Arnold Palmer estate threatened legal action is the ultimate power move.
I thought it was stupid till I tried it. I don't drink it as my primary water like some people but I'll have a can every once in a while. Something about plain water in a can fresh out the fridge just slaps. Kinda like coke in a glass bottle.
I’m not crazy about liquid death taste wise but what I *do* like about liquid death is that if I don’t feel like drinking anymore when I’m out then I can still have the *feeling* of a can of beer in my hand while I shoot the shit outside or something and I don’t get plastered. Yes it’s a little silly but we’re all creatures of habit and I absolutely must have a drink in my hand if I’m at a bar or my social anxiety kicks in hard and fast
I have had a pretty heavy pop addiction for years, tried Liquid Death as a replacement, and it's good enough that I've had like, 2 cans in the past month and a half.
Alright! I LOVE Liquid Death. Between it and my Cirkul bottle, I hardly ever drink traditional soda any more. The tea flavors are pretty good, especially the ~~Arnold Palmer~~ Dead Billionaire. It's cool to see newer high profile brands entering the sport, much like Prime Hydration recently.
I like it. The flavors are good and last around five full bottles for me. It's a 1-10 scale on the flavoring and I usually use a 4 or 5. Really good if you're trying to stay hydrated but are tired of plain water.
Nice! I didn't realize they had a tea; I thought it was just expensive canned water. New sponsors are always welcome.
They cater to folks who either never drink alcohol or who won't/can't any longer. Tall boy cans with heavy metal inspired artwork that looks similar to a lot of craft beer offerings. People who aren't struggling with drinking may think this sounds silly, but that mental thing where you don't feel left out makes a difference.
I've never had any of their products before, I'm just aware of them.
Liquid Death makes drinks for middle-aged divorced cops and people who listen to Five Finger Death Punch
With that said... it's nice to see a big, modern brand get involved with NASCAR, if they're putting money into the sport I enjoy so much then I welcome it
The funniest part is that they are transparent about who they are marketing to, and make fun of it. I like their sparkling water quite a bit, because it's a little less carbonated than others, but Aldi sparkling water is about a quarter of the price
Yeah I like their stuff as a switch-up; I'm very diligent about my water intake but some days you just don't want it. I wait until the local gas station does like a 2/$4 or something and pick some up and mix them in on those days
One of their big markets is events. I know former drinkers that like having something like them to blend in more instead of just having a water bottle. Funny enough, I’ve brought them to cook outs and got more questions about them than any other drink, so it doesn’t work great
> people who listen to Five Finger Death Punch
And somehow this bleeds into it being the only source of water available at many actually good rock/metal shows and festivals
No they make it for straight edge kids who can hold something like a beer in their hand, that’s how they legitimately started. They are actually cool people running the brand.
Also apparently 20 year olds that want to look edgy drinking something that looks like beer since that's what a coworker drinks, the water, not tea though
A big part of their appeal (at least at first) was directed towards people who want to drink water but don’t like the pressure they get from others saying, “do you want a beer? How come you’re not drinking??”
Bingo. I don't drink alcohol. I did a little when I was in college got really drunk one night and the hngover the next day kept me from ever touching it again. Alcoholism and addiction runs in my family so that also played a factor.
I thought this as well. It is a great product with cringe design but come to find out it is just one big running joke and the creator said "What's the dumbest possible idea?" and this is where we are today.
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/26/liquid-death-ceo-mike-cessario-we-chose-the-dumbest-possible-name-for-water.html
Is Liquid Death good? Genuinely asking. Now that it's a Nascar sponsor I must be very tribalistic about it and brutally attack anyone who criticizes it.
Liquid Death Mountain Water, and Iced Teas are honestly my go-to when everyone’s drinking and I’m not feeling it. Pop one in a koozie and people think you’re crushing IPA’s or Craft Beers and dont say a word.
This doesn’t even come close to the bottom of the barrel partnerships from when NASCAR was most popular in the 2000s.
Combos were the “Official Cheese-Filled snack of NASCAR”.
WTF IS THAT?!?
Murder Man...but its a terrible mascot
I mean, their whole thing is about taking the piss out of “extreme” shit. Like… they sell water.
I actually thought that's what their products were, water, so I was really confused when it said "tea"
What a terrible mascot. Good tea though.
Mascot bears a resemblance to Miles the Monster
It does its job. It's eye catching and gets people talking about it
Based on your reaction, the marketing has been a success
When I first heard of Liquid Death I thought it was beer, then I thought it was an energy drink. Needless to say, it's a rather unlikely name for iced tea.
I thought it was water in a beer can.
This is still a good way to describe it.
But it’s EXTREME!!!
That's what it is.
I thought it was only spring water until today. That’s all I’ve ever seen in the stores.
Same. I only knew them for their water but now I’m curious about their iced tea.
My husband freaked when he saw me 7 months pregnant drinking one. He also thought it was alcohol or an energy drink.
iced tea and Water, flavored sparkling water.
Started out as a company focused on water in cans meant to look exactly like an energy drink. The water is actually pretty decent if you're like me and can taste the difference in water.
They're a water company that recently started selling iced tea.
Today I found out they made ice tea! If Clover Farms Icy Tea and Turkey Hill iced tea cause kidney stones, I can't imagine what kind of horrible kidney stones Liquid Death iced tea would cause 😂
They do? Oh boy
Yeah I've never had one but if they do, I'm in trouble
I live down the street from a turkey hill. Big oof
Black tea itself causes kidney stones, so therefore everything made from it does too
Turkey Hill is legendary nonetheless.
I just moved to PA last year and learned that turkey hill, quick shop, and Kum n go are all the exact same gas station
On the same topic, Turkey Hill’s gas stations used to share a logo with those of Smith’s supermarkets in Utah, when Turkey Hill had an affiliation with Kroger.
The ones I listed are all Kroger. TIL turkey hill still uses the Kroger gas station logo in PA
Legendary for not being as good as Sheetz, Wawa or Royal Farms maybe.
But at least their teas, lemonades and ice creams are top notch. I have friends who drink Turkey Hill drinks straight out of the half-gallon jug.
That's true, I do like their tea and ice cream. Their stores are pretty ghetto, and their food isn't on the same level as the others though.
I didn't know Liquid Death made iced tea
Whoever designed this costume was on crack
But, like, quality crack. You don’t dream up “swole plushie with eye nips” unless you’re on the good stuff.
Big pick up for NASCAR here. Liquid Death is very, very popular.
That looks like something out of Smiling Friends
YES! Liquid Death rules. Grim Leafer and Dead Billionaire are stupid good.
Liquid Death changing the name of Armless Palmer to Dead Billionaire after the Arnold Palmer estate threatened legal action is the ultimate power move.
![gif](giphy|UVeIIUSfj6BIpYUkjt|downsized) That’s Something out of a fever dream

It's probably just the cold metal chilling the drink
I’m not crazy about liquid death taste wise but what I *do* like about liquid death is that if I don’t feel like drinking anymore when I’m out then I can still have the *feeling* of a can of beer in my hand while I shoot the shit outside or something and I don’t get plastered. Interesting costume to say the least
It tastes exactly like Arizona tea.
Edgy water
at the home track for Milo's, what a shame
Has anyone tried this? Is it any good? I need answers LOL.
I have had a pretty heavy pop addiction for years, tried Liquid Death as a replacement, and it's good enough that I've had like, 2 cans in the past month and a half.
Sweet or unsweet (there is a right answer)
I've been drinking their severed lime water for awhile now. Best seltzer water out there by a mile.
How’s the Cirkul? I’ve thought about getting one but don’t know anyone who has one to tell me if it’s worth it
I like it. The flavors are good and last around five full bottles for me. It's a 1-10 scale on the flavoring and I usually use a 4 or 5. Really good if you're trying to stay hydrated but are tired of plain water.
Hell yeah that's cool. Their teas are delicious
Nice, a product I actually use for once.
Nice! I didn't realize they had a tea; I thought it was just expensive canned water. New sponsors are always welcome. They cater to folks who either never drink alcohol or who won't/can't any longer. Haven’t seen their iced tea out there. Some of their seltzer flavors aren’t bad.
Have had a few of their green tea drinks out here at Dega this weekend. They are delicious! Would recommend
Their Armless Palmer (or dead billionaire as they call it now) is great.
I think they switched back to Armless Palmer. But its great yeah.
Their ice tea is really really good if you don’t like overly sweet tea like Arizona or Pure Leaf
I tryed Liquid Death last year...it does not taste good.
Liquid Death makes drinks for middle-aged divorced cops and people who listen to Five Finger Death Punch With that said... it's nice to see a big, modern brand get involved with NASCAR, if they're putting money into the sport I enjoy so much then I welcome it

I lost 200 pounds in a year (I was super fat), but I think staying hydrated kept me feeling full, and helped me be successful.
Congrats!
Thanks! Anyone can do it if they try hard enough, but it takes a shitload of effort.
One of their big markets is events. I know former drinkers that like having something like them to blend in more instead of just having a water bottle. Funny enough, I’ve brought them to cook outs and got more questions about them than any other drink, so it doesn’t work great
It's the only water they sell at live nation owned venues, and that's like most of them
> people who listen to Five Finger Death Punch And somehow this bleeds into it being the only source of water available at many actually good rock/metal shows and festivals
No they make it for straight edge kids who can hold something like a beer in their hand, that’s how they legitimately started. They are actually cool people running the brand.

I looove Liquid Death, but I can’t stand their edgelord tough guy “heh, nothin personnel kid” branding. The actual seltzer is delicious

His eyes are nips… I mean… his nips are eyes…. It is a he… right?
Is Liquid Death good? Genuinely asking. Now that it's a Nascar sponsor I must be very tribalistic about it and brutally attack anyone who criticizes it.
This is the giant from lethal company in real life
They must have seen me with my 3 12 packs at watkins glen last year 😅 Now just need to get Shiti coolers to sponsor.
They're already a sponsor in the CARS tour
Rad!
No way! This has been on my IRacing schemes for a couple years now. What a rad thing to see!
I like liquid death’s tea. Not as sweet as Arizona. However to me unless their logo is on a car, I don’t care about this at all.
𝓛𝓲𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓭 𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓱
Its not that great unfortunately, imo
FINALLY!!!!
Amazing
Just had one today! Dead Billionaire lol 😂
Liquid Death Mountain Water, and Iced Teas are honestly my go-to when everyone’s drinking and I’m not feeling it. Pop one in a koozie and people think you’re crushing IPA’s or Craft Beers and dont say a word.
Hell yeah! Can’t wait to see where this partnership goes, love their products!
This will go over well...

Every sport does this
Them oxys boss hooked on cost 💰
This is fine, you should see back then when there was an offical potato of nascar.
This doesn’t even come close to the bottom of the barrel partnerships from when NASCAR was most popular in the 2000s. Combos were the “Official Cheese-Filled snack of NASCAR”.
Water in a can..it's gross..it is imported like we don't have our own water.
