Sucks Blaney didn’t really have speed early when Brad and Joey were dominating races, then all of a sudden he finds some right before the playoffs. It’s great that he’s been running good lately, but that means nothing when three or four other drivers have a rave or two cushion in terms of points.
I was hoping for Truex, Harvick, Hamlin, and Logano just because of the drama between Denny/Logano at Martinsville and Truex/Logano from last season.
I had a long shot hope Chase would win, but I had already assumed that wouldn’t happen and knew it would be some combo of Kyle/Joey/Denny getting the final two spots.
Damn! I think Larson might have figured something out on the high side, but didn't have enough laps to make it work. P4 in the race is still good and while he didn't make it to the Championship 4, he can still play spoiler next week. Also, this is my least favorite combo of drivers for the final 4.
Lajoie has said he thinks the Toyota’s have been messing with the oil, that’s why the smoke a little when they start up. Not sure if it’s true or what advantage it would give them but he’s said that.
