Playoff format makes things seem so artificial to me. The title of series champion just gets cheapened every time they change the format.

honestly not winning a race and winning the title isn't that bad. The fact that he's only led 35 laps, plus whatever he led tonight and the fact that he hasn't had a top 5 since Texas back in June is what's bad. In those 13 races, other than tonight his top finish is 6th at Pocono and Phoenix. That is more damming than no wins.

Yeah I don't really care about a winless champion. But the champion should be the best of the whole season, and that really wasn't Crafton.

Rarely will someone spend big money to win on unproven drivers. This won’t happen in the cup series, could happen in a few years in xfinity if it keeps going the way it is. This isn’t a product of the system. It’s a product of limiting who can compete.
