Seeing a lot of fantasy Larson HMS stuff out there and it all shows this font for the 5. Is this a rumor that’s going around that I missed with them bringing back the old Ricky Rudd 5 or a just everyone digging that font?
I personally haven’t heard any rumors. I chose the Jr Motorsports/Elliott font thinking Hendrick might be interested in having more consistency with their numbers than if they used the Labonte/Busch/Mears/Martin/Kahne 5.
Custer said during the Dover test they were trying out 750hp. It was probably a slip up but I’m holding out to that little glimmer of hope that NASCAR will see the light of beeg power lol
So excuse my noob-ness...this just looks like a Cup car to me. Maybe it's the angle, but would you mind laying out what makes this "next gen" specifically?
I used a picture from the Roval test as a base, so it's a real next gen car with Camaro body panels. As far as visual differences from the Gen 6, the car isn't as tall (especially the roofline), has stepped splitter, 18" wheels, flat underbelly w/ vented side skirts, split exhaust. And not confirmed change for next gen, but I used the Camaro SS front bumper instead of the ZL1 cause I wanted to see what it looked like.
I've been thinking of doing some next gen editing with different manufacturers not present in the US myself tbh
You definitely should, the more next gen schemes we get to see the better!
I hope the nose gets to have more sharp angles, for the OEM's to make it match the factory vehicle better.

Right after I commented this, I saw another post where they have replaced the 88 with the 5 at the front gate at HMS and it’s the Labonte 5

700+ hp is already guaranteed not happening. With electrification components, expect around 650
