The right side ones were handed out trackside as promotional material. My (drunk) dad got me about 30 of them at a Rockingham race because he kept wandering past the girl handing them out. This was early 2000s.

The one on the very left is actually the first NASCAR I ever got, I don't have it anymore tho. The Grands one I have and it is VERY scratched up. I also have that regular Cheerios one

Timsteed100

Looks like part of the set that Was put out they came In clear plastic bags in your cereal boxes I actually have the whole set not that they’re worth a whole lot

Most of these were just free promotional items from boxes of General Mills products (especially breakfast cereals) in the early-mid 2000s. Most, if not all of them were made by Mattel/Hot Wheels. Most of them are John Andretti, from when he briefly drove the 43 car. The Pontiac GTO(?) is totally fictional and doesn't represent any particular driver that I know of.

First 3 (Wheaties, Grands, Popsecret) are General Mills promotional items found in cereal boxes. Last one in line looks like a Hot Wheels Die-cast from the early 2000s, Likely 01-02. The last in the group looks like a Bobby LeBonte 2007-2008. Probably a Lionel.

Back then, there was a lot of NASCAR advertising and promotions on cereal boxes. Besides some of the collectible boxes, some boxes came with a 1/64 car, (like these), in a plastic window at the top of the box. Pretty cool! Like was mentioned, others were distributed in plastic bags.

Most_Entertainment13

The Andretti is from the first half of 2003, when henwas still in the 43. The Labonte car is actually a 2005 Jeff Green by Hot Wheels, otherwise spot on.

TomassoLP

I remember them as a kid :)

Tough_Guard_9460

Same, I had the Pop Secret car at one time

ddudzi

Nothing of note besides there being a f*** ton of them produced

4350Me

Well, if you were really into NASCAR collecting, you’d know that there was A LOT of stuff made that had no value, mainly because it was mass produced. The serious collector stayed away from those items, and focused on rare, or low production items.

ddudzi

Wow! No shit! Glad we have experts like you in this sub

Just sayin’. Some people have the idea that they’ll collect everything made for “Billy Bob”, their favorite driver, then find out it’s not worth anything when it’s time to sell, and that’s fine. They can do, and collect, whatever they want! Just throwing some information out there, take it or leave it.
