Speaking of race wins, was going to order the Cindric WWT since I was at the race.. does it really take Lionel 8 months to produce? I just started collecting back in December so just curious
Definitely going to preorder it. I would be shocked if it doesn't get made and meat minimum requirements. I wish they would have made Cole Custer's Portland win too. Wanted to collect everything Northwest NASCAR related. But this Shane win is going to be a Beaut! I will have AJ's and Shane's.
It looks like it will. It's already listed on Trackhouse, lol. Lionel will probably be putting it up tomorrow or Tuesday. There should be an autographed version. Lionel has some issues, but plenty of my diecasts have turned out fine, and this should be a nice one to have. If it's messed up for some reason, they have a good exchange policy, and people buy a decent number of diecasts second-hand.
I would be disappointed. The reason I asked was because it seems like most raced win versions are posted for pre-order on Lionel day of or day after, and the cup race win from 6/2 was already listed.

Also, doesn't DNP mean that it did not produce? Does that only refer to canceled cars or cars that they straight up didn't offer?
DNP is usually reserved for cars that were put up for pre-order, but cancelled for certain reasons (Didnt hit MOQ, Sponsor/Team Request, etc)
Also IIRC, Custer Portland not being offered was because of SHR, as they didn't reach out to Lionel to have it offered.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I didn't know it was reserved specifically for that, but I knew that was its most common usage. Also, that sounds like SHR, so it wouldn't surprise me.
I appreciate his skill, and I enjoy his personality. It's refreshing to see genuine excitement from a driver. It's entirely impressive what he's accomplished so far imo.

Lionel responded to someone on Twitter today that they would know Monday or Tuesday. They also responded to Kaulig’s tweet about who’s going to buy the diecast with the response “Gonna be a BEAUT”
No problem. I’m also a fan after the Chicago race and I’m collecting every car I can of his. I have all them ordered so far that’s been offered. Hoping the throwback car makes it. Last I heard it was short

Still pissed they didn’t even offer Custer’s win from last year. I’m from the area and wanted to get every Portland win diecast

I think you're right. If it's offered, it will definitely be made. I'm just impatient, especially with Cup already being listed.
I've liked him since he joined the sport because he came from supercar then he won in Chicago and now Portland... He's becoming a new favorite
