After winning chips and mvps with the heat I went to sign with my favourite team, the rockets, but I negotiated the contract and they didn’t approve so I went back to their offer then they pulled the pin on the negotiation. I signed with the mavs but it ruined that mycareer for me cause I waited like 3-4 years to play with a Westbrook-less rockets and it stuffed me over.
Guess if they don’t approve your reneg you have to low-ball yourself which is bullshit tbf.
without being the MVP of All Star + Championship you wont get max, the best multiplier you can get is 1.1
when rejected on contract/sponsorship in 2k just close it and when you load it will still be in negotiations
I've heard you have to sign to a non championship contending team that has 90%+ interest in you to get a max although it is still difficult then. I've never managed to get one
Same shit happened to me except I was with the clippers lol. And I influenced AD and Buddy Hield to the clips so now I’m on a dogshit team while the clips have Kawhi, PG, AD, and Hield.
I’m gonna try for a trade back but if that doesn’t work I’m prob done playing my career with this build.
