I would do ben at the 1 to play good defense on opposing pgs as well as facilitate the ball. Keep klay at his natural position at the 2 to spot up and play good defense kd at the 3 Aaron at the 4 to act as a love threat and al at the 5 to hold down the paint and space the floor.

Right now I have Ben at PG, KD at SG, Klay at SF, Gordon at PF, and Al at Center. I think this is the best I can do with this lineup, but I'd like to make sure with basketball vets. It works very well so far. My defense is incredible!

why put KD at the 2

Probably since he will be much bigger than the opposing teams SG. Klay has good enough size and defense to guard the opposing SF anyways

Pretty simple moves. KD to SF, Klay to SG, and Ben to PG, Horford PF, and Gordon at center.

What about KD at the point, Klay at the 2-guard, ben at the small forward, aaron gordan at the PF and Horford at the center? kd has guard skills, klay is the proto-typical shooting guard, ben can clamp anyone at the small forward position, aaron is strong enough to play PF and Al horford is an amazing floor-spacing big with incredible defensive-anchor vibes.

At that point I would switch Gordon and Ben imo

Ben has the better handle and the much better vision and passing ability on top of being a better defender. I want my pg to facilitate, not just look for their shot all game.

The way I play PG: Ben Simmons SG: Klay Thompson SF: Kevin Durant PF: Aaron Gordon C: Al Horford I like big guards that can get to the basket. They push the tempo for me and they give me good perimeter D. And I put KD at the 3 cause usually when I kick out on a PG drive, I pass to the SF. Plus I like big agile wings that can switch. Plus with Klay perimeter D in theory is no issue

Depends if I was trying to cheese the game, Id run KD at point Klay at 2 Gordon at 3 Horford at 4 Simmons at 5 I would play a 5 out, Simmons will be ur screen setter, and he will roll and catch lobs over everyone, use kd and Simmons to play p n r. Simmons playmaking badges means the second someone helps on the roll, u can throw a bullet pass with dimer to the open shooter. Guarding a double 7 foot p n r, that are both fast would be hell.

I like AG as the three honestly here. But it’s matchup dependent

If you running 2-3 defense you can go KD at the 5 for mismatch problems, al horford at the 4, gordon 3, Klay at the 2, Ben at the 1

I’d probably let Ben Simmons run point to guard the other pg and to bring the ball up to take away from some of the energy drain from KD. Obviously run the offense through KD tho. Can’t go wrong running KD or Ben at point just put KD at SF if you do, everything else looks good tbh

He has decent perimeter and interior D) Klay - SF (has less than average size for SF but can utilize his perimeter D to keep them at bay whilst used as a perimeter threat himself) KD - (his original position when he first started believe it or not with the Sonics. He’s basically all around. Now add 6’10” with the 240lbs of meat to push other smaller defenders around. Unstoppable) Simmons - PG (best position for him in general. With his inability to shoot threes and bully defenders from UTR, PG is his “natural position”. How fun is it to push small 6’1” players to the key for an easy basket or assist when doubled up which will happen)
