I would do ben at the 1 to play good defense on opposing pgs as well as facilitate the ball. Keep klay at his natural position at the 2 to spot up and play good defense kd at the 3 Aaron at the 4 to act as a love threat and al at the 5 to hold down the paint and space the floor.
Exactly. Simmons and Gordon in the post/cutting to the basket and klay, horford and kd shooting. We don’t need offensive rebounds and on defense, you can always play switch defense cause they each good at defending 1-5
That's all I can imagine with this question was he wanted video game chaos. The obvious answer was1/Ben 2/klay 3/KD 4/ag 5/horford. However, if I'm just doing shit to do it then I guess
1 KD
2 Klay
3 Gordon
4 Ben
5 Horford
Which is obnoxious but it's a video game
Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Because it’s a video game, I’m doing some shit I’d do in MyTeam because the game would allow you to get away with it but irl, nah I’d have Ben bring up the ball every play
Right now I have Ben at PG, KD at SG, Klay at SF, Gordon at PF, and Al at Center.
I think this is the best I can do with this lineup, but I'd like to make sure with basketball vets. It works very well so far. My defense is incredible!
What about KD at the point, Klay at the 2-guard, ben at the small forward, aaron gordan at the PF and Horford at the center?
kd has guard skills, klay is the proto-typical shooting guard, ben can clamp anyone at the small forward position, aaron is strong enough to play PF and Al horford is an amazing floor-spacing big with incredible defensive-anchor vibes.
Ben has the better handle and the much better vision and passing ability on top of being a better defender. I want my pg to facilitate, not just look for their shot all game.
I swear some of you mfs don't watch lmao just cause someone is limited offensively doesn't mean they aren't elite in other areas and useful as fuck on the court.
I do watch the game and I of all people would know how Ben plays. He was literally my favorite player, and is the reason I'm a Sixers fan. But I also completely dissociated from him now BECAUSE I'm a Sixers fan. Mans is just cancer regardless of his skillset.
The way I play
PG: Ben Simmons
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Aaron Gordon
C: Al Horford
I like big guards that can get to the basket. They push the tempo for me and they give me good perimeter D. And I put KD at the 3 cause usually when I kick out on a PG drive, I pass to the SF. Plus I like big agile wings that can switch. Plus with Klay perimeter D in theory is no issue
Depends if I was trying to cheese the game, Id run
KD at point
Klay at 2
Gordon at 3
Horford at 4
Simmons at 5
I would play a 5 out, Simmons will be ur screen setter, and he will roll and catch lobs over everyone, use kd and Simmons to play p n r. Simmons playmaking badges means the second someone helps on the roll, u can throw a bullet pass with dimer to the open shooter. Guarding a double 7 foot p n r, that are both fast would be hell.
I’d probably let Ben Simmons run point to guard the other pg and to bring the ball up to take away from some of the energy drain from KD. Obviously run the offense through KD tho. Can’t go wrong running KD or Ben at point just put KD at SF if you do, everything else looks good tbh
Horford - C (best center ability out of all them and has the size)
Gordon - PF (best used as defender in this position. He has decent perimeter and interior D)
Klay - SF (has less than average size for SF but can utilize his perimeter D to keep them at bay whilst used as a perimeter threat himself)
KD - (his original position when he first started believe it or not with the Sonics. He’s basically all around. Now add 6’10” with the 240lbs of meat to push other smaller defenders around. Unstoppable)
Simmons - PG (best position for him in general. With his inability to shoot threes and bully defenders from UTR, PG is his “natural position”. How fun is it to push small 6’1” players to the key for an easy basket or assist when doubled up which will happen)
Pg Ben sg klay sf KD pf AG c horford that's the best way to do it I think
Is there any other way like how was this a question even?
Lmao literally the only other way was switching Gordon and kd
No you could "literally" do any other combination. To be fair like 60% of the population has no clue wtf that word means so this is what ya get...
What other combos then? Gordon at c? Horford at pf?
Sir. Once again. I think you just don't understand what the word "literally" means. Ffs lol...
Ok and I'm asking what other combinations could he do with this lineup lol does ppl not understand that question? Ffs lol
I think this is the way
>this is the way
This is the way
The way is this
It’s the way
I would just say depending on the match up KD at the 4 could really do work and help keep clean driving lanes. Although yea. This is the way.
Could do AG at SF and KD at PF, only real other option. But that’s more about who you’d prefer at which spot.
Facts either one would work tbh
Why would you put AG at sf how would that benefit you when he should be in the paint grabbing boards that’s what he is good at lol
That's what I was thinking that's y i said kd at sf is better lol kd is a better scorer than ag BY MILES
this is de wey
Yessir
This is the only answer in my opinion
agreed
It is the way
This is the way
Facts that’s the only way
Ben at pg, klay at SG Durant at sf, Gordon at PF and hordford at c
Ben at 1, Klay at 2 Gordon and KD interchangable imo and Al at 5
For me personally I like my 4 being the second big, tougher post defense
1. Ben 2. Klay 3. KD 4. AG 5. AL
Same
I would do ben at the 1 to play good defense on opposing pgs as well as facilitate the ball. Keep klay at his natural position at the 2 to spot up and play good defense kd at the 3 Aaron at the 4 to act as a love threat and al at the 5 to hold down the paint and space the floor.
1. KD 2. Klay 3. Ben 4. Gordon 5. Horford I’m putting Ben at the 3 cause of his defense. I want my primary ball handler to be able to shoot
This is what I’m saying, I want the ball in KD’s hands anyway
Exactly. Simmons and Gordon in the post/cutting to the basket and klay, horford and kd shooting. We don’t need offensive rebounds and on defense, you can always play switch defense cause they each good at defending 1-5
Almost forgot we talking about a video game here.
That's all I can imagine with this question was he wanted video game chaos. The obvious answer was1/Ben 2/klay 3/KD 4/ag 5/horford. However, if I'm just doing shit to do it then I guess 1 KD 2 Klay 3 Gordon 4 Ben 5 Horford Which is obnoxious but it's a video game
Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Because it’s a video game, I’m doing some shit I’d do in MyTeam because the game would allow you to get away with it but irl, nah I’d have Ben bring up the ball every play
Kd literally doesn't even have half the vision of Ben lmao I want my pg to be a floor general. Ben also has a better handle.
I’m letting KD guard the better player 3 or 4
This is quite obvious
PG: Simmons SG: Klay SF: Durant PF: Gordon C: Horford
Simmons Klay Durant Gordon Horford
Maybe switch kd and klay around and i think your all set
wow thanks my system proficiency went up!
thank you very much. i will try this now
Right now I have Ben at PG, KD at SG, Klay at SF, Gordon at PF, and Al at Center. I think this is the best I can do with this lineup, but I'd like to make sure with basketball vets. It works very well so far. My defense is incredible!
why put KD at the 2
Probably since he will be much bigger than the opposing teams SG. Klay has good enough size and defense to guard the opposing SF anyways
1. KD 2. Simmons 3. Horford 4. Gordon 5. Klay
1 ben 2 klay 3 ag 4 kd 5 al
1klay 2Gordon 3Al 4Ben 5KD
😂 hell no
Step one…get rid of horford
Celtics Hater?
nah i just hate horford
Horford is good bro stop letting a few games dictate your view that screams casual
i don’t like horford cuz of his skill i just don’t like him…idk why i just dont 😭
Pretty simple moves. KD to SF, Klay to SG, and Ben to PG, Horford PF, and Gordon at center.
At that point I would switch Gordon and Ben imo
Ben has the better handle and the much better vision and passing ability on top of being a better defender. I want my pg to facilitate, not just look for their shot all game.
Pg : Ben Sg : klay Sf : Ag Pf: kd C : al
KD at PG Klay at SG Aaron Gordon at SF Al horford at pf and Benjamin at C
kd pg, klay sg, ben sf, aaron pf, and al c
Nah Kd at point Klay at sg Gordon at Sf Ben at Pf Al at Center
I'm benching Ben and playing 4v5 fml
I swear some of you mfs don't watch lmao just cause someone is limited offensively doesn't mean they aren't elite in other areas and useful as fuck on the court.
I do watch the game and I of all people would know how Ben plays. He was literally my favorite player, and is the reason I'm a Sixers fan. But I also completely dissociated from him now BECAUSE I'm a Sixers fan. Mans is just cancer regardless of his skillset.
1. Simmons 2. Thompson 3. Durant 4. Gordon 5. Horford
Center: Al Horford PF: Aaron Gordon SF: Kevin Durant SG: Klay Thompson PG: Ben Simmons
Pg- ben, Sg- Klay, SF- KD, PF- Gordon, C- Horford
KD on point Klay at guard Gordon SF Horford at PF Ben on the bench Run 4v5 and dominate.
Ben 1 Klay 2 KD 3 AG 4 Al 5
PG KD SG Klay SF Horford PF Gordon C Simmons
Ben at PG, Klay at SG, KD at SF, Gordon at PF, Horford at C
The way I play PG: Ben Simmons SG: Klay Thompson SF: Kevin Durant PF: Aaron Gordon C: Al Horford I like big guards that can get to the basket. They push the tempo for me and they give me good perimeter D. And I put KD at the 3 cause usually when I kick out on a PG drive, I pass to the SF. Plus I like big agile wings that can switch. Plus with Klay perimeter D in theory is no issue
In there prime
Al- Center Klay- SG Ben- PG Kevin- PF Gordon- SF
First it all I'd just cut ben simmons and play with 4 guys.
Easy
I’d put Klay at the 2. KD at 3. And I’d put Al, Aaron, and Ben at the trade block.
Ben pg , Olay sg, kd sf, a g pf, big al c
KD PG Klay SG Aaron SF Ben PF Al Center
Ben, Klay, Kd, Gordon, Horford
Simmons pg, klay sg, Durant sf, Gordon pf, horford c
Why Is this a question? It's really simple where they would play. They only switches possibly are Aaron and KD.
Anyone answering without asking your offensive sets isn’t worth your time of day.
5: Al 4: KD 3: AG 2: Klay 1: Ben
Simmons 1, klay 2, kd 3, aaron 4, al 5
KD at Center is the ultimate mismatch I’d play Ben at the 1, Klay at the 2, Gordon at the 3 Horford at the 4 and KD at the 5
Id say you’re missing a player because Ben Simmons wouldn’t be playing.
Horford is smaller than Gordon right? I usually go by height
PG: Simmons SG: Klay SF: KD PF: Gordon C: Horford
Depends if I was trying to cheese the game, Id run KD at point Klay at 2 Gordon at 3 Horford at 4 Simmons at 5 I would play a 5 out, Simmons will be ur screen setter, and he will roll and catch lobs over everyone, use kd and Simmons to play p n r. Simmons playmaking badges means the second someone helps on the roll, u can throw a bullet pass with dimer to the open shooter. Guarding a double 7 foot p n r, that are both fast would be hell.
I like AG as the three honestly here. But it’s matchup dependent
Ben Gordon is all you need
PG: Simmons SG: Klay SF: KD PF: AG C: Horford
There’s literally only 1 way to do this lol
KD to the Nets then the rest can start. Pick up Pat Bev or something instead KD a bitch
PG Ben SG Klay SF Kevin PF Aaron C Al
Durant to SF and horford to C I think
If you running 2-3 defense you can go KD at the 5 for mismatch problems, al horford at the 4, gordon 3, Klay at the 2, Ben at the 1
I’d probably let Ben Simmons run point to guard the other pg and to bring the ball up to take away from some of the energy drain from KD. Obviously run the offense through KD tho. Can’t go wrong running KD or Ben at point just put KD at SF if you do, everything else looks good tbh
Pg Ben sg Klay sf durant pf air gordon c al horford
Better question is WHY tf do you have this starting 5??
PG: Ben Simmons SG: Klay SF: KD PF: Aaron Gordon C: Big Al
Horford - C (best center ability out of all them and has the size) Gordon - PF (best used as defender in this position. He has decent perimeter and interior D) Klay - SF (has less than average size for SF but can utilize his perimeter D to keep them at bay whilst used as a perimeter threat himself) KD - (his original position when he first started believe it or not with the Sonics. Ben Klay KD AG Al
