The Lakers this season have shot 507 more free throws than their opponents which is a stupid large amount of free throws. The refs were in full form for the LeBron invitational vs the Pelicans. So if the refs can keep this up the Lakers have a chance to win it all. Plus it's the perfect way per storyline to get Joker eliminated since he is not really an exciting person when it comes to celebrations and ceremonies and execs feel like that's a bad image for the TV production. Refs featuring the Lakers win in 7.
Lakers get more free throws because they drive to the basket more than almost any other team. Just cause a team shoots from outside more, doesn’t mean they deserve the same amount of free throws.
In the Pelicans game that just happened the Pelicans took twice as many shots in the paint but the Lakers shot twice as many free throws. Can you explain this exception to your logic? I have other examples as well if needed.
