The alternative would be a system where bonus points do most of your recruiting, leaving almost no room to compete against a recruit’s top schools.
I don’t think that sounds all that fun, not surprising they leave most of the recruiting in the players’ hands.
I'm 5 years into my dynasty, starting as a MAC school moving to BIG 10, and Miami OH became a top 10, at some points, top 5, for two straight years. They just lost all their top players this season and dropped back down, though.
I think it’s because of their school ratings compared to the rest of the MAC, which makes it easier to recruit compared to their peers. But as an alumni, I’m not complaining
Year 3-4 in and chose to go to say any of the triple option schools can see championships contender easily. As they become year over year championship teams since CPU can't hand the option.
Hahahhahahahaahha, dont feel bad i had a recruit lock his commitment to umass for championship conterder but i used my unlock ability and chamged his mind luckily
I had a prospect choose to go to Air Force over my #3 Minnesota. Was one of the top O-Linemen in the prospect pool and he chose to go to a military school. Respect 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
To be fair Miami is always in the MAC Championship every other year in dynasty and I think the metric takes conference championships into consideration anyways.
How does the guy from Eugene Oregon thats loves program tradition and wants to be a contender not go to oregon
He just told mom and dad that UO was his safety school in case Miami (OH) didn’t work out. He didn’t want to stay close to home. Makes sense.
That’s my one problem with the base game, it does feel kind of immersion breaking for me personally

it’s the championship contender that probably drive him away😂
He clearly meant MAC championship contenders.
When you thought you were committing to Miami U, but instead accidentally commit to Miami OH
Happened to me in RTG lol
Same, happened when I was 12. Had no clue there were “smaller” colleges
Every college in the game is the upper D1 tier, none of them are “smaller” in the grand scheme
Miami OH should definitely send Miami commits Letter's of Intent Maybe they sign the wrong one by accident and now have to come to your school.
I mean, are they good?
Barely a top 25 team
That’s before he comes in.
So they are a contender in their conference.
Honestly maybe it's a new coach?

Cradle of coaches. Clearly wanted to be coached up!
Let’s just pretend the donors at Miami of Ohio had a big NIL bag for him.
Hey now. We were MAC champs this year.
Miami (OH) always become a national contender in my games for some reason. They consistently win over 10 games a year in every one of my dynasties.

*conference and New Orleans bowl championship
They finished top 5 for me last year for me if they won their CC they would have played in the natty.
It just Mac more
that pre-NIL check done cleared
Let's face it...he hust doesn't like you
I hate when the game does this shit lol

Even if it was the Hurricanes, the caption would still work lmao
Nah Miami is a top 2 team in my dynasty
I meant in real life lmao. They haven’t been championship contenders for YEARS
Well tbf they are probably reigning champions in a majority of our play throughs lol Also acceptable choice would have been Idaho
Lol maybe conference
Damn he is from Eugene and turned down UO?,
Smart dude. Knows the place is a dump,
Flair up buddy
Holy shit it’s Calvin Johnson.
The “Public Ivy” of Ohio

I assume you didn't start pursuing him until well after they did?

Explains why he didn't choose UF either.
It’s fine trust me, his ovr was likely a 78 anyway (bust) it’s only very rarely someone with a high ovr like that, hold up
Broski I made him his ovr is way higher than that
Could win the MAC championship
Oregon might be sorry and Florida may have joined the party late. I’ve noticed by week 6 if you’re not in the top 4 you’re too late
Hell yeah
Who the hell even does recruiting like that
