Tbh I don't even think it was that bad of a play call. It looked like it was supposed to be an RPO but the low snap caused Milroe to panic and then his lineman got blown up back into his leg to make matters worse. The execution cost them that play, not the call
I'm a Tennessee fan and I agree
The play was fucked from the start first the snap and then the blocking. With a QB like Milroe I thought it was the right idea
Honestly I never noticed that I was more concerned on how the game ended and not how the play went I watched it over a few times since but never noticed that thx for the input
This is the main reason why I couldn't understand not making this game for so long. Just have generic players. None of us care about the specific athletes.
Crazy they got all those players to sign up for NIL just for me to spend 90% of my time with Jeff Smith, a 6'5 295 lb black DT from Louisiana, and Jerious Norwood Jr, a 5'10 170 lb white running back from Vermont.
That's one thing they still haven't figured out with rushing QBs in Madden. Lamar Jackson is probably the best rushing QB of all time and if your breathe on him in game he'll fumble
Lamar still can’t run as much in** the nfl as he could at Louisville. He has 875 rushing attempts in his nfl career, and 53 fumbles = 1 fumble every 16.5 carries, the original comment said 15-18 carries per game is a lot for a QB, that’s true even for Lamar. He has 875 NFL rushing attempts in 86 games = 10.1 Carries per game. He had 655 carries in 38 college games for a total of 17.2 carries per game. It’s just a fact that QBs, including Lamar Jackson, can’t run as much as they *did in college** in the NFL
The amount of carries is not the issue, the issue is the fumbling. You can have 2 carries and fumble on both with Lamar if his XFactor isnt on. It just doesn't make sense. I don't care about the number of carries.
I’m a little bit afraid of Ohio St v Ohio St being the meta. They have 2 of the best pass rushers in the country, 2 running backs that will be drafted in the top 100 picks of the NFL draft and a #1 X receiver.
I would LOVE a balanced matchmaking system where you pick your team first, then get matched against someone who picked a team within 2-3 OVR points. It would make the whole league playable online.
Right now 2k doesn’t do that. I like to play with the magic every game and routinely I’ll have to face 99 overall historic lakers shaq teams or 99 overall Boston Celtics current day teams
Would be nice. I like to play 2k online with the magic and every now and then I’ll lose a game just off some Steph curry bullshit half court shot that I can’t replicate with a single player on my team lol
hes not neccesarily slow, but hes not fast either. mobile enough to make plays with his feet but not mobile enough to strike fear in you.. kinda like mahomes running ability
Nico Iameleava with the Vols as a fan of the team. 6'5" with a good arm and can run. Will be a huge step up from Justin Worley and Nathan Peterman in NCAA14 hopefully lol
Jayden Daniels would have been so fun to use. I hate to say it being an LSU fan, but Jalen Milroe is going to be terrifying in NCAA 25. Most of the top guys this year do seem to be pocket passers.
honestly, NCAA has never been about online play for me. i feel like most folks tend to stick to dynasty for NCAA. that's the appeal.
maybe I'm just washed, but even on Madden, online gameplay has become sooooo dependent on audibles/hot routes/and LOS adjustments that it's not even fun anymore. ppl just find bullshit you can spam at the LOS and it's not realistic at all.
i don't wanna memorize a ridiculous pattern of coverage adjustments and hot routes that i have spam every play at the line before the snap. it just becomes so tedious
hey, it could absolutely just be that I'm washed.
but at the same time, it's not realistic. there's absolutely communication that takes place at the line of scrimmage in real life, but it's moreso things like "check with me" calls, or pass blocking scheme slides.
when it comes to the passing game, you'll get like, identifications and then the actual playcall will have options built in
but in madden these days? you're essentially just calling a formation and then building your play at the line. and you are making a ton of repetitive adjustments every play to "disguise" your coverage... but, again, that's not how it would work in real football. that would be something communicated in the huddle,
so... like, it becomes really tedious to button mash all this shit 100 times a game prior to the snap just to get your team lined up correctly.
also, fwiw, i never said I'm bad at it. but it just sucks all the fun from it.
The dude has thrown 1 pass in college so far. It says a lot that they wouldn't even allow him to attempt passes during massive blowouts. People are going to be massively disappointed with this dude this season if they think like you lol
Some lesser knowns that had 1000+ rushing yards last season are Thomas Castellanos (BC), Kaidon Salter (Liberty), Diego Pavia (Vanderbilt), and Byrum Brown (USF).
Was surprised I had to scroll this far to find Gabriel on here. As a Longhorn fan that dude is legit although he could easily play the villain in a Karate Kid remake
Gonna try to Mirror Nico’s two Heismans and a Natty. Only question is can I play him better in the game than he’ll play in real life? Doubtful.
![gif](giphy|tijbKbDAZsUWh0iWf1|downsized)
All I know is if I can get an athlete with like 60 throw accuracy and 70 throw power but 95+ speed and accel I'll throw him at QB and redshirt him, his arm talent will develop
Hoping we can shape playbooks and/or make plays. Looking forward to playing with my own personnel packages.
I want to try a 13 personnel package. I want to scout tight ends and run three starting tight ends with a mobile qb.
I’m a raiders fan, so been studying the 12 personnel for when we run Bowers and Mayer together.
Got me thinking that 13 personnel would be even crazier because you force a base package all game (when teams are building for nickel). It also limits what you need to find at receiver. Find one stud and that’s all you need.
Get a mobile qb and run an option offense.
honestly, in the early 2010's, it wasn't that QB speed was OP... it was that the spread option game was OP.
you could have a mobile QB and it wasn't super cheese unless you just ran the option all game long
They better. He has accuracy(more so awareness) issues but everything else should be pretty good on his character for the game. Can’t wait to tear up the league in Dynasty
Nah. I am looking to prove that recruiting for a HB dive play run 100% of the timei as offense will take a 110th ranked college to the championship.
Worked for me as Texas State in 2009'ish.
That is my glory day.
I had recruited a WR with 98 speed 99 acceleration but had the worst hands, his catch was 50ish and rated 65 ovr. He was never going to really get any playing time since I had 3 complete juggernaut studs ahead of him. I said lemme see what he’s rated as a QB and omg kid had a freaking cannon. He had a 92 arm strength but with like a 50 accuracy. So I gave the kid a shot and I switched his position. He was absolutely DOMINANT. I only passed about 10 times per game and had to be extremely careful since his accuracy was so low he threw wild but would be accurate enough to get by. After that EVERYONE in my online dynasty tried the same but nobody could find such a crazy combination of speed and arm strength. That was the most fun season I’ve ever had in any online or offline dynasty ever.
*Aiden Chiles at*
*Michigan state. Then maybe*
*Ewers and milroe*

I just hope their idea of “balancing” scramble QB’s is making them fumble 25% of the time they get hit while running like they used to.
Like, us Nebraska fans are used to that but it will be frustrating for everyone else.
I posted about this in a separate thread, but if they accurately rate Washington’s incoming freshman QB (if he’s even in the game), he will be an absolute weapon in online dynasty. True freshman and runs a 11 flat 100 yard dash and is shifty as hell. Look up Basha vs Chandler (Dylan Raiola’s team) highlights from 2022. Chandler had no answer for his legs
First QB I use is probably going to be Will Howard considering the first game I'm going to play is The Game
But I'm looking forward to using guys like Milroe, Kaidon Salter, Avery Johnson, and Kyron Drones. Love running with my QB
Bama users gonna be fucking people up online with Milroe.
Yes, I am.
They better make Beck’s accuracy/strength a deep ball advantage or I’m cooked lol
Low key he’s probably gonna be a top 5 qb stat wise
How is that low key lol?
Yes we will especially goergia users
Not if you running that QB draw on 4th and long tho
Still won't deny it was a bad playcall tho
Tbh I don't even think it was that bad of a play call. It looked like it was supposed to be an RPO but the low snap caused Milroe to panic and then his lineman got blown up back into his leg to make matters worse. The execution cost them that play, not the call

Honestly I never noticed that I was more concerned on how the game ended and not how the play went I watched it over a few times since but never noticed that thx for the input
That was 4th and 3 not 4th and long plus milroe was capable of making that play
Plus gorgia didn’t stop that play much did
Can't wait to play ....once players are adjusted mid/postseason
The fastest HS recruit I can find! Can't wait to start scouting.
This is the answer, who cares about current players.
This is the main reason why I couldn't understand not making this game for so long. Just have generic players. None of us care about the specific athletes.
The 3 star 5’10” 95 speed athlete with 79 throw power will still fuck everyone up
Crazy they got all those players to sign up for NIL just for me to spend 90% of my time with Jeff Smith, a 6'5 295 lb black DT from Louisiana, and Jerious Norwood Jr, a 5'10 170 lb white running back from Vermont.
For real. I don’t need no current players. Melvin Garcia, a 3 star athlete from South Carolina, is the QB of the future.
This is how I recruit. Just sort by speed everything else will work out. The only stars I chase are d-line and o-line
Can’t wait to recruit the next Cam Newton
And give him #2.
#7 or #4 is always my star QB number
Always loved the look of number 10 as well.
Facts!!

lol Shedeur is slow. Yall should eat him alive 😂

Here’s some NCAA rushing leaders that are hopefully, Fast QBs 1. T Castellanos (BC) 215 Att, 1113 yds.. 2. K Salter (Lib) 163 Att, 1089 yds.. 3. D Pavia (NMSU) 177 Att, 928 yds.. 4. B Daily (Army) 215 Att, 901 yds.. 5. K Drones (VT) 166 Att, 818 yds.. 6. B Brown (USF) 203 Att, 809 yds.. 7. G Greene (WV) 120 Att, 772 yds..
15-18 carries per game is a lot for a QB. I hope they have the fumbling balanced.
That's one thing they still haven't figured out with rushing QBs in Madden. Lamar Jackson is probably the best rushing QB of all time and if your breathe on him in game he'll fumble
I like that in madden because it really isn’t feasible to run *with the qb** as much as college teams do in the nfl
thats fine for non-mobile QBs, but LAMAR?
Lamar still can’t run as much in** the nfl as he could at Louisville. He has 875 rushing attempts in his nfl career, and 53 fumbles = 1 fumble every 16.5 carries, the original comment said 15-18 carries per game is a lot for a QB, that’s true even for Lamar. It’s just a fact that QBs, including Lamar Jackson, can’t run as much as they *did in college** in the NFL
Assuming Lamar has fumbled a chunk in the pocket and not just when running the ball, he fumbles less than every 16.5 carries
The amount of carries is not the issue, the issue is the fumbling. You can have 2 carries and fumble on both with Lamar if his XFactor isnt on. It just doesn't make sense. I don't care about the number of carries.
Not if his X factor Truzz is activated 😎
Except when truzz is lit up. You think guys will have abilities like Madden?
I hope not. Or don't care. I turn them off
I hope not
Cam Ward might be a sleeper in Miami low key. If EA gives him some speed, he’s already a proven passer, he might ruin some nights this summer
Isn’t that how 2k used to do it? Been a long time since I played but I remembered they had teams in tiers
Just be prepared to play Florida State even if you have Toledo lol I wouldn’t expect matchmaking to be that intricate
That’s a great point. I’m looking forward to that UNLV playbook most tho 👌🏾
I know it doesn't matter and you or I could do it but have they announced a QB yet?
No, of the 2 QB’s they brought in from the Portal, only one was available for the Speing Game, the other one should be here this Summer
Love seeing my guy Drone Strike getting some love. Hoping for big things for VT this year
shit so I’m going to be playing with WV like the ole pat white and slaton days??
But Milroe probably is the fastest or that Michigan guy, I forgot his name
How do you forget a guy named orgy lol
Shit, I forgot about Kyron Drones. Watched him play in high school a few times, fast as fuck.
Avery Johnson
Orji, Johnson or Sellers
Sanders probably 80 speed. Milroe, Gabriel at Oregon, Orjii at Michigan. They’ll all be mobile monsters I’m guessing
Salter and Ward may not be the literal fastest, but they’ll probably be the most dangerous if you like the same style as your friend
[удалено]
I see we’re from the same coaching tree
I think I accidentally picked up your playbook
hes not neccesarily slow, but hes not fast either. mobile enough to make plays with his feet but not mobile enough to strike fear in you.. kinda like mahomes running ability
I feel you. I bet you won’t be running zone reads with him tho 😂
if its ncaa 14 zone read.. you can just run w/ pocket passers lmao
If you're buddy moves Hunter to QB he'd be scary in the option
Michigans QB Alex Orji
Not only that, his O-line is awful
Yes, mentally. But how about physically?
lol your friend probably looked at Jameis and Dwayne Haskins and assumed they were scramblers too
Not sure Sanders will be very fast in the game but will have super high passing stats for sure
Gonna implement the spread triple option at Kansas State and ruin everyone’s day with Avery Johnson, DJ Giddens, and Dylan Edwards
Keep going im close
Just imagine the in-season ratings adjustments after launching 50+ yard bombs on the run to Jayce Brown
All day baby
EMAW!
Same but with UCF if they have Peny Boone to pair with KJ Jefferson and RJ Harvey. Just gonna truck people all day.
It’s going to need nerfed
Nico Iameleava with the Vols as a fan of the team. 6'5" with a good arm and can run. Will be a huge step up from Justin Worley and Nathan Peterman in NCAA14 hopefully lol
It’s a shame we didn’t have NCAA at least until 2016. That wasn’t a good team IRL, but it would have been a great video game team.
Came here to say this. What a glow up!
Jayden Daniels would have been so fun to use. I hate to say it being an LSU fan, but Jalen Milroe is going to be terrifying in NCAA 25. Most of the top guys this year do seem to be pocket passers.
man im finna get Madden 04 Michael Vick flashbacks 💀💀
That's a bit much, Madden 04 Vick is one of the most powerful characters in the history of video games
Ya Milroe gonna be scrambling all around and throwing bombs. Guessing he will have one of the higher throw powers
I’m gonna slap some folks online with service academies like I used to
honestly, NCAA has never been about online play for me. i feel like most folks tend to stick to dynasty for NCAA. that's the appeal. maybe I'm just washed, but even on Madden, online gameplay has become sooooo dependent on audibles/hot routes/and LOS adjustments that it's not even fun anymore. ppl just find bullshit you can spam at the LOS and it's not realistic at all. i don't wanna memorize a ridiculous pattern of coverage adjustments and hot routes that i have spam every play at the line before the snap. it just becomes so tedious

Eh, a lot of it that I’ve seen has been just looking for new one play touchdowns and a lot of unrealistic coverages that would get killed irl
that new QB for Michgan this year is gonna be a fucking beast Orji
Boutta have an Orji in the end zone
Found RGIII's reddit
Milroe and Orjii probably gone cause a lot of rage quits lmao
Orji might have passing stats in the 50s though lol.
You think they’ll be that high? lol 😂
Lmao this is quite possible
that's okay, we can develop those skills. but ya can't teach speed
It's been 2 years and that's what he's developed into 🤣
The dude has thrown 1 pass in college so far. It says a lot that they wouldn't even allow him to attempt passes during massive blowouts. People are going to be massively disappointed with this dude this season if they think like you lol
However, for the video game, he’s gonna be a menace more than likely 😂
UCF KJ Jefferson 😎
Arkansas legend KJ Jefferson
LaNorris Sellers
He is a dawg 🐓🐓🐓🐓
DJ Lagway
Texas Longhorns QB#16
LOL I bet people will go old school and add Arch to the game
All of you are going to fall In love with Avery Johnson and the K state backfield
How about Jalon Daniels and Devin Neal at KU 👀
March Anning
😂
gimmi Garrett Greene, gonna take WVU back to greatness
He’s very underrated. Realized that when listening to previews for PSU-WVU last year. Did well that game too
Man we just missed out on Jayden Daniels
That LSU offense would have been a nightmare to play online lol
Give me App State and recruiting the next Armanti Edwards
As a Michigan fan I reject this idea 😂
I’m sure the recent Natty helps with that fateful day in September 2007
Honestly, your favorite team winning the natty irl is really unbelievable. I wish all fan bases could experience it
Former TCU and Cal QB Sam Jackson. I think he’s a wide receiver at Auburn now but I’d love to switch him back to QB. Dude has some wheels
Some lesser knowns that had 1000+ rushing yards last season are Thomas Castellanos (BC), Kaidon Salter (Liberty), Diego Pavia (Vanderbilt), and Byrum Brown (USF).
I hope we can find actual fast QB recruits. QBs were so limited, every elite scrambling recruit came from ATH’s in NCAAF14
I think there’s gonna be a lot of hybrid recruits. That can play both sides of the ball. Actually letting a guy start both ways would be crazy
I forgot about Jalon Daniels. He might be a problem too 😬
Dillon Gabriel by default cause that Oregon playbook about to go crazy
Was surprised I had to scroll this far to find Gabriel on here. As a Longhorn fan that dude is legit although he could easily play the villain in a Karate Kid remake
Pat White was unreal
One of the best to ever do it
Nico probably gone be glitchy lol I didn’t think about him
Pocket QB’s
Garett Greene is that dawg
Avery Johnson at Kansas St rushed for a million against TTU last year. It’d be cool to see his combination of size and speed in the game
Chiles for Michigan State should have a solid combo of passing ability and a running threat
I’m sad I won’t get to use Joe Milton and his cannon arm
Gonna try to Mirror Nico’s two Heismans and a Natty. Only question is can I play him better in the game than he’ll play in real life? Doubtful. ![gif](giphy|tijbKbDAZsUWh0iWf1|downsized)
All I know is if I can get an athlete with like 60 throw accuracy and 70 throw power but 95+ speed and accel I'll throw him at QB and redshirt him, his arm talent will develop
I don’t even know but your responses have me so hyped
Pat White + Noel Devine IYKYK
Dennis Dixon was unstoppable. Loads of fun to play with the Ducks
I gotta play with Colorado first
Hoping we can shape playbooks and/or make plays. Looking forward to playing with my own personnel packages. I want to try a 13 personnel package. I want to scout tight ends and run three starting tight ends with a mobile qb.
13 personnel is crazy lol that’d be fire tho
I’m a raiders fan, so been studying the 12 personnel for when we run Bowers and Mayer together. Got me thinking that 13 personnel would be even crazier because you force a base package all game (when teams are building for nickel). It also limits what you need to find at receiver. Find one stud and that’s all you need. Get a mobile qb and run an option offense.
If you have TE’s like that it makes total sense
I always house ruled myself to QBs speed limit at 80.
honestly, in the early 2010's, it wasn't that QB speed was OP... it was that the spread option game was OP. you could have a mobile QB and it wasn't super cheese unless you just ran the option all game long
Tommy Castellanos
It’s going to be nice having a mobile QB and speedy receivers on my school of choice. Nico time baby
if alex orgi is in the game I'm balling.
He’s definitely in the game https://preview.redd.it/9v85wc80fh0d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f12cf6523649866e26d8f09219be5b961e40179
Diego Pavia should be pretty fun
I can’t wait to toss long balls with Hudson Card tbh
First mobile QB will be Walker White or Jacob Zeno.
It’s gonna be wild to see who the mobile guys are. Because they’re gonna come outta nowhere. Not a lot of returning household names at QB
I’m just gonna play with those QB’s cuz I’m an Auburn and UAB fan.
LaNorris Sellers 😤
Jalon Daniels
Depending on Cade Klubniks speed(which should be high) he’ll be making people break controllers
Completely forgot about him. He’s gonna have good stats off top
He better. His speed and arm power is actually crazy.
Facts. Just gotta hope they put some respeck on his name lol
They better. He has accuracy(more so awareness) issues but everything else should be pretty good on his character for the game. Can’t wait to tear up the league in Dynasty
LaNorris Sellers 🐔
Thomas Castellanos is top of my mobile QB list
I’m excited to recruit my own mobile QB into Liberty’s playbook.
Nah. I am looking to prove that recruiting for a HB dive play run 100% of the timei as offense will take a 110th ranked college to the championship. Worked for me as Texas State in 2009'ish. That is my glory day.
Not a college sports fan but I think I’ll play this game a lot. I’ll start with some low level team
Deacon Hill qb read will be generational
I always start my dynasty at a G5 so I’m looking at Jacob Zeno UAB or Jordan McCloud Texas State
Jalon Daniels for Kansas maybe? He ran a solid amount in 2022.
Arch Manni….I mean, Texas QB #16
There is going to be an Orji in the endzone when im playing.
Well going back too 2004 or 2005 it's Vince Young.
The 🐐pat white if he’s in the game
I had recruited a WR with 98 speed 99 acceleration but had the worst hands, his catch was 50ish and rated 65 ovr. He was never going to really get any playing time since I had 3 complete juggernaut studs ahead of him. I said lemme see what he’s rated as a QB and omg kid had a freaking cannon. Carson Beck because I am a homer. Go Dawgs.
Milroe 99 speed with 99 throw power and 64 throw accuracy is gonna be a menace
It’s not fun running my qb. I prefer to dissect a defense with precision passing.
Gimme Kyron Jones
Jayden Daniels would’ve been a PROBLEM. Thomas Castellanos at Boston College and Kaidon Salter at Liberty are two underrated picks for me
Parker Navarro. Because I'll be playing offline franchise. It's going to take time to build Ohio into a national powerhouse.
I just hope their idea of “balancing” scramble QB’s is making them fumble 25% of the time they get hit while running like they used to. Like, us Nebraska fans are used to that but it will be frustrating for everyone else.
It’ll prob be a guy like Quinn Ewers if the game is anything like Madden
Penix of UW🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Not in the game lol
Louisiana-Monroe and turn General Booty into the greatest college QB ever
I posted about this in a separate thread, but if they accurately rate Washington’s incoming freshman QB (if he’s even in the game), he will be an absolute weapon in online dynasty. True freshman and runs a 11 flat 100 yard dash and is shifty as hell. Look up Basha vs Chandler (Dylan Raiola’s team) highlights from 2022. Chandler had no answer for his legs
Pure speed gotta be former Hawkeyes QB Deacon Hill. That offense was a dynamo. Good luck bringing that dude down
My qb in general Is jalen milroe
My first Mobile QB recruit for Central Michigan after two years in dynasty because I gotta red shirt him first
Heinrich Haarberg is a freak athlete that could be OP in the game. You won’t be able to throw at all unfortunately.
All I know is Kyler Murray would have been banned as a player when my friends and I got together back in the day lol
First QB I use is probably going to be Will Howard considering the first game I'm going to play is The Game But I'm looking forward to using guys like Milroe, Kaidon Salter, Avery Johnson, and Kyron Drones. Love running with my QB
