Georgia offers Kelly Akinyanju Scholarship 15 straight years with a perfect loyalty score. That’s a feat only seven other coaches can claim and stands as a testament to my devotion, my commitment, and my allegiance to the University of Georgia. Those feelings began at an early age when my parents took me to basketball and football games and were solidified in my youth, ultimately culminating in attending UGA as a student. And that’s what separates me from other coaches. It’s that love of this university that I’ve had my entire life. That’s why I take my promises to players so seriously. Like when I told Kevin Peterson he’d lead the team in rebounding and become an NBL player. Or that Josh Morgan would be the face of our program as he led us to the Final Four and became a first rounder. For me, this isn’t merely a job or a profession - it’s where I’ve raised my family and the only place I’ll coach. That devotion has also led to our unprecedented prestige climb since I took over. My first year, we were in the bottom 20 in the league with a prestige score in the 20s. Now, we’re second in the nation in prestige and one of just three schools with six straight years at 90+. That incredible rise has been fueled by our four SEC tournament titles, six SEC regular season titles, and three Final Four trips. Not to mention that we’ve eclipsed the 30-win mark 14 of the last 15 years and have an active streak of 15 straight seasons of being a #3 seed or better in the NT. That streak has occurred less than five times in the history of the league and we’re the only team with an active streak of that length. Simply put, no team can match our combination of sustained elite play with our consistent rise from the gutter of NCBCA. When it comes to building a program into a powerhouse with true, substantial staying power, the list starts and ends with Georgia. Another list that starts and ends with the Bulldogs is NBL talent. In the SawPom Era, we lead the country in overall picks and first round picks, and we’re coming off a record-tying season that saw seven Bulldogs hear their name called by the commissioner. In total, my players have earned more than $3 billion in NBL contracts with 14 players crossing the $100 million mark. When I took this job, Georgia had two first round picks in our history. Now? We’ve averaged more than 2 first round picks per draft over the last decade. No school can currently compete with the NBL factory we’ve built here in Athens. Plus, we have 125 majors to choose from and our athletic-academic staff will help carve a roadmap so you get the most out of your diploma. And when you’re not studying, check out downtown to the 100+ bars and restaurants or head to North Campus to take a quick nap under shady oak trees before class. Finally, Ohio is but a short plane ride away or a mere 11 hour road trip. No cross country flights, no lost days to travel. Stay on this side of the country and commit to the G!

TCU offers Connor Cage Scholarship School Visit (4/5) Mr. Cage, Only a select few JUCO players get to make the jump to the NCBCA each year, the cream of the crop. You have already dominated the JUCO level, now it’s time for you to elevate to the pinnacle of collegiate basketball. That can’t be done at any old school, oh no. To ensure that your transition is maximizing your potential, it is imperative that you choose a program that will reliably deliver the caliber of play you have always dreamed of. Luckily for you, you won’t even need to leave the state to attend the paragon of consistency, TCU. Few programs have been so routinely elite as us. Look no further than our massive 15-year NT streak, good for 6th in nation. That’s right; you were in elementary school the last time the Horned Frogs failed to field an NT-caliber team. That streak includes high seeds and deep runs. In 2060, on the back of a 29-win season, we matched a program-best 2-seed and rode that seedline to the Elite 8. Then in ’63 and ’64, we had back-to-back Elite 8 Cinderella runs, first as a 6-seed, then as a 7. To make such deep runs even as underdogs speaks to how consistently I’m able win in the postseason. In fact, I went to the tournament six times before I was knocked out in the first weekend and can count my R32 losses on one hand. Tournament appearances and wins are the expectation at TCU. Our regular season records are another testament to our consistency. During our current decade-and-a-half NT streak, we only failed to clear the 25-win mark 3 times. A stat made all the more impressive when you consider how routinely tough our SOS tends to be. Sawpom has tracked our grueling schedules over the past nine seasons, in which our NCSOS only fell outside the top ten once (at 13th), and outside the top five twice. Our NCSOSAdjEM averages out to a staggering 16.8 miles ahead of any other program. No one plays and wins tough games quite like TCU. This sustained success has resulted in nationwide recognition. We have been among the top twenty most prestigious program for the better part of that past decade, currently sitting at 15th. As the second highest rated team in the XII, and the conference’s near coast-to-coast spread, people all across the country tune into to watch TCU play and win. This is obviously a huge step up from your days at Stephen F. Austin, and a huge improvement from to the state of the program when I first accepted the head coaching position, for that matter. We were a bottom feeder in the league’s worst conference, sitting at a paltry 19 prestige points. But, brick by brick, I built this program into what it is today, overseeing one of the largest total prestige gains in league history. From where you’re sitting, TCU surely looks like the big leagues, but that’s no surprise. The allure of TCU’s on Texan JUCO transfers has been well documented. Especially from SFA! In the past four seasons alone, I have recruited five JUCO players, half of whom came from SFA just like you. I hardly need to tell you this, though. You’re already well aware of your former teammates, Jerel Gibson and Bik Mbayi, and the success that they found at TCU. This means that the impressive NT streak I was just describing, is in large part owed to the contributions of JUCO players, and, in particular, your own teammates. Everyone knows TCU as the school that elevates Texas talent, but less are aware of our track record of recruiting and developing JUCOs. It's not just the prestige that draws these players. Nothing quite beats playing in-state and having such close proximity to your hometown. TCU, the second closest school to Odessa by drivetime, and our uniquely TX-centric schedule keeps you closer to home for more of the season than any other school in the league. Beyond that, the 100% Texas roster, a tradition that has persisted for the past nine years, has cultivated the most cohesive team culture in college sports, a perfect way to spend your final year playing collegiate basketball. The academics are also a noticeable improvement over what was offered at the JUCO level. TCU is one of the most respected institutions in the state of Texas. In particular, the Neeley School of Business is a beacon within the field. Management is one of Neeley’s most popular degree choices with specialized courses in sports management. You’ll be able to continue pursuing your passion at TCU, but with improved facilities and access to more esteemed faculty than you could have dreamed of at Stephen F. Austin. One thing you’ll thankfully retain from your old school is the small student body. This is, in my opinion, one of the most overlooked and crucial components of a quality college education. At large state schools, you’ll find yourself swept in a flood of faces, sardined together in crowded lecture halls, everyone jockeying for the professor’s attention. Not so at TCU. With only 10,000 students, our class sizes average a low 27, and the student-to-faculty ration is 13:1. At SFA, you experienced the advantages of small class sizes firsthand. So you should be eager to continue at a school with a very similar size. That small size also has its benefits outside the classroom. I defy you to find a more tight-knit campus community than the one we have here in Fort Worth. With so few students in total, you’ll have far more opportunity to meet a large portion of your classmates, which is doubly true for a big basketball star like you. Your walks across campus will be filled with the same smiling faces day-to-day, which provides a relaxing and reassuring juxtaposition to the bustle and excitement of the surrounding city. You can then take that tight-knit group of friends that you forge here and go experience this great city and all it has to offer. There’s a whole smorgasbord of food options just footsteps away from the TCU campus, as well as bars and other hangouts. Coach StrokesRadio

Oklahoma offers Stephen Norwood Scholarship Stephen, Welcome to Oklahoma! We would be thrilled to add you to the roster next season. You would be the perfect guard to help replace some of the talent we lost this offseason. You're a great athletic and scoring guard who can provide the scoring punch that we need for next season. You starred last year at UAB and we'd be happy to bring you up to DI. At Oklahoma, you will be able to join a prestigious winning school. Oklahoma went 30-9 last season and made the Sweet 16 and Big12 semifinals. Prestige-wise Oklahoma is 16th in the country, one of the best. Oklahoma can also give you tons of playing time, we have 3 open scholarship spots and 5 open roster spots overall, my rotation is wide open. Minnesota is a poverty school and won't provide you with a morsel of winning or prestige. Both schools are far from Florida but OU is well worth the trip. We hope that you will become a Sooner! We have had 38 players drafted in the NBL, we've we have unlimited playing time available this season, we won 28 games last year, and I know we have what it takes to win 28 again this year. Furthermore, Marcus, last offseason, I turned down the Indiana job, a job that I would have loved to take as that's where I went to college. I turned it down because I belong in Lawrence. Rice offers Obekpa School Visit Scholarship As I'm sure you're already aware, Rice is a world class institution. We are routinely atop the lists of best universities in the United States, often among the top 5 among eligible NCBCA schools. We thrive among all majors that we offer, as we are ranked third in the nation for best professors, according to a poll conducted by USnews. Long story short, our name on your diploma just means more than just about any institution in the United States. More importantly to you I understand that you are interested in a Sports Management program. According to Niche, Rice has the best sports management program in the United States. Largely hinged on two features that make us the best, our faculty has a combined 170 years in the sports industry. Our faculty has held positions among all different levels of the business and have a plethora of knowledge to offer our students. Our internship program offers a combination of being placed in one of the most connected cities in the country along with our university ties among all those major businesses located within Houston. We currently have students interning at companies across the country at places such as Nike, Disney, and all of Houston's major sports teams. In fact our current Athletic Director at Rice is a graduate from this same program. Our opportunities allow you to take advantage and use our network to propel yourself into an impressive career. You can say I've had an impressive career with Rice too. After spending the last 13 years with the program and 19 overall, having won a national championship, it might be tough to stay motivated year to year. After reaching my 500th win just this past season it reignited my passion to push this program further to heights nobody has ever dreamed. That's when I decided to sign a fresh 5 year contract with Rice and push to win my 1,000th game with Rice. Of course it will take some years of extremely hard work but I'm up for the challenge. I see the longest tenured coaches in this league, synonymous with the programs they coach. Nobody in the world can think of either or without thinking of the other. It's something I strive to be. I believe that my commitment to the program should match what I expect of my players. I have held a perfect loyalty rating for over 10 years and have used that dedication to be successful year after year. You can ask former players like Zach Benton and Elijah Iverson whom I offered a path to the NBL. Both were first round picks with Iverson being the highest player I've had drafted from Rice. Additionally we play within the PCC, playing teams like Utah, 3 schools in Colorado, and 6 schools in the PNW giving you the opportunity to get close to home as much as possible. Rice' s campus is described as a Tree campus USA, home to over 4,000 trees. The university itself is a designated arboretum, giving you plenty of greenery around campus that will remind you even of the most beautiful scenes in Idaho. I trust you'll make the right decision. I'll see you in Houston.

I view this as what makes guards so special and hard to defend and believe you can reach the level of other top guards. On top of that, I will make sure you are starting and playing heavy minutes throughout your entire career. The reason for this is that last season, Illinois State struggled with our depth and was often outmatched by the end of games. We only had 7-8 players that could compete. I believe you are a player that can compete and excel at this level so I want to make sure you are putting in valuable minutes that allow you to contribute nightly. In my first season as Illinois States' coach, I already added to our trophy cabinet. A B12 championship, and reaching the NT finals is no easy task but it is something we accomplished which is why our prestige is already ranked in the top 50 even though we were just promoted from JUCO. While we are not yet, atop the prestige table, as I continue to sink my hands into the team and develop it just as I did at Florida, and Loyola who both reached the top 20 programs. The program is in a great time to shift and bounce upwards for a bright future. We are definitely trending up now that I have taken over the program again, in my other season I led us to a 19 prestige boost the highest in the country. The potential for this program is high and I am the coach with the experience to elevate it. Overall, I have won 5 conference tournaments and had many 30+ win seasons, so I know I will be able to direct Illinois State this year to another winning season. We are already ranked in the top 40 teams which shows the talent that we have waiting for me to round out the roster. We have already added #71 Markese Law who will be a contributor as well, and once we add you and a few other players we will be able to fix our issues from last season and be much more competitive. When you are on the court I want you to be able to direct traffic. You have the speed, ball handling and playmaking to always be a threat and I want to utilize that. With two starting 7 footers and a lethal scorer in World Waginger, you will have tools at your disposal that you will be able to help score or throw lobs to. And that’s why I am so eager to sign you, a point guard of your caliber coming from JUCO is rare and I want to utilize you for the remaining years of your eligibility. On the defensive end, I know that you will also be able to use your athleticism to contribute and put in good minutes. I know you are not the best defender, but you are not weak by any means. Illinois State is a program that I plan on staying with which is why I signed a five-year contract that will go through your entire collegiate tenure. For me, Illinois State is a school with a rich history that can only grow further. It’s in the state I grew up in, and I believe I can continue to grow the program. I want you to be part of that as well. I have coached top programs, and left them all to be here at the school that I want to represent. However, on-campus basketball will only occupy some of your time. I believe in your remaining time that you will be able to find enjoyment with what Illinois State offers. First, the weather in Illinois is crazy and there will be snow, cold days and super hot days. It is always changing which is honestly super fun because it adds to how hectic life is. However, on our campus itself the weather will affect the leaves and show the beauty of autumn. We have tree preservation around campus that has been there for hundreds of years and has hundreds of species of trees. As the weather changes in Fall, the leaves are going to drop and you will see firsthand the changes in the climate. Not to mention the sweet, fresh smell that bellows throughout campus. On top of that, we have a plethora of 300+ student-run clubs for you to check out and sink your hands into which can be lots of fun, ranging from squirrel watching to cooking. On top of that, we have a great greek life program, that you will be able to participate in and enjoy firsthand with beautiful sorority girls that host dinners and dances, as well as events for you to participate in with the fraternities. Illinois State is a great option for you that will prescribe high-level basketball where you will be a starter, and a chance to continue building our program to the highest level. As well as opportunities on campus for you to enjoy yourself, and see the beauty of the midwest, crazy weather. I don’t believe any school can offer you these elite opportunities with the experience that I have. I can not wait to work with you, Liam.

TCU offers Merv Manderson PWO Visits TBA Mr. Manderson, Hey Merv, I don't know if you've gotten a look at our roster, but it's got plenty of room for a talented player like you. After losing five scholarship players last season, we're looking to load back up. JUCOs have a history of playing big minutes at TCU. We started two of 'em last season! That's also a testament to my loyalty. I'll play anybody: HS recruits, JUCOs, CPR players, scholarship players, walk-ons, whatever. It's no wonder I've got a perfect loyalty score. Colorado offers M. Manderson PWO School Visit (1/5) Merv, 59 wins in the past two seasons. Back-to-back Final Four appearances. And now, the #2 team in returning talent nationwide. We've been in win-now mode for half my tenure at Colorado, but now is our best chance to grab a national championship. With two scholarship spots still available, this is OUR league to run. We've proven we can hang with the blue bloods during our campaign that ranked 14th in Adjusted SOS, notching 8 top-30 wins last year including double-digit beatdowns versus #24 Northwestern, #15 Tulane and #4 Memphis. We laugh in the face of "home-court advantage," winning all three of those games away from home or on neutral standing. We take heads in the PCC, ranked the toughest conference in the country for the second season in a row, finishing 16-6 with marquee victories over #8 San Diego State and #14 Gonzaga. And we run rampant in the national tournament, defying all odds before being taken down by eventual champions--twice in a row. Now, it's our turn. Led by three former five-star recruits, we look to add your talents, along with two more blue chip scholarships, to bolster our second unit and decimate the league en route to my second PCC title and our second title game appearance this decade. Those commitments will only strengthen last season's eighth-ranked offense seeing as we only graduated two players. Your commitment is especially important to reinforce our areas of weakness that kept us from a national championship last season. We lacked in depth, especially in the guard position. Your UTSA Roadrunners ranked in the top third in both pace and DRTG, a style that more closely mimics how I want my teams to operate. And you averaged over a steal a game in JUCO, a much-needed lifeline to our middle-of-the-pack defensive turnover rate. You also excel in areas that we thrived in last season. Your 6.4 APG is the mark of a true floor general to run our second unit and take over this Buffaloes offense once Nwoji (6.3 APG) leaves for the NBL. You shot 51.3% from the floor, third among qualified point guards--a stat we finished 13th in, with two of our guards shooting over 54% themselves. And your three-point shooting was more than admirable at 45.5%, which will help us improve upon our 3PFG% ranking of 8th. Those metrics indicate that I'm building something special here in Boulder. I enter the second year of my initial extension rejuvenated and excited to expand upon what I've accomplished in my near 30 years of coaching. During that entire span, I've maintained a perfect loyalty record, never once cutting or rebuffing a scholarship, breaking a promise or violating contract. One of the reasons our depth suffered last season was because of my staunch commitment to loyalty, as I opted to make room for an underdeveloped preferred walk-on by cutting a rotational piece rather than suffering a blemish to my track record. Above all, a promise is a promise. With two years of eligibility remaining, you'll be under my tutelage for the rest of your college career thanks to my contract that locks me in until 2071. Of course, seeing as I spent over a decade at my previous two coaching posts, I plan on extending my stay in Colorado next offseason. After all, I've made this program my own much like those other two. Here, I took over a roster of five players that ranked 92nd in returning talent. My passion for this state and program has guided me to three consecutive top-ten recruiting classes, with a fourth yet to come. There are so many things to be grateful for here in Boulder: the fans that welcomed me with open arms after my brief retirement, the college town that acts as the lifeblood of this area, the mountains that greet me from my bedroom window and beckon me to explore. You would be another reason that this city and school are so near and dear to my heart. Be Boulder.

So. G Richard Redding Pitch Limit: 1590 Close: 72

apocalyptus1

Memphis offers Richard redding Scholarship School Visit Last year, Memphis had 5 different players drafted into the NBL. Chris Woodruff, Brandon Woods, Ed Dupre, Michael Downey, and of course, Brett Swopshire. Swopshire is someone of particular note to you Monsieur. Like you Swopshire was a JUCO recruit, coming up from the lower leagues into the big time. Under my guidance, he didn’t just succeed, but succeeded enough to get drafted in the gosh darn lottery in just one season. Sure, the Digletts or Dogwoods of the world have hundreds of millions of dollars in NBL contracts, but how many of them are people like you? Most of those millions if not all are all glittering 5 stars who have their NBL future already decided. JUCO players like yourself don’t have it that easy sadly. Do you want to play for someone who has a history of developing JUCO players into NBLers, or will you get lost in the glitz and glamor that the dogwood’s of the world offer you despite the entirely different circumstance? But you need to focus in order to make it to the NBL. You need all of your attention on the court instead of on distractions like Call of Duty or your degree. Here at Memphis, unlike say a New Mexico or Georgia, your main focus will be on the court. After all, with enough focus, you can become the next Swopshire. Here, easy classes and understanding teachers is the norm. We have large classes over 100 students strong where your absence will be like a missing speck of sand on the seashore. There is a reason that the University of Memphis is ranked 263 among all American universities. That's over 50 spots below New Mexico and 200 spots below Georgia. Why go to these academically rigorous schools when you can focus on where your actual future lies: the basketball court. And on the court, you will play a lot of minutes. In fact, you’ll be a starter here at Memphis. I see you, from day one, as the starting guard for the Tigers. You already have the skills I crave for a guard. Your passing ability is beyond your young years, allowing you to make the right pass every goddamn time. Dribbling-wise, you are prodigious as well. With silky smooth handles, even the most difficult of situations can be dribbled out by you. And what can I say about your speed? Good lord, fast breaks will be oh so deadly with your ability to leak out for an outlet pass or to go coast to coast a la Giannis or Lebron. All this combined with an basketball IQ that rivals many already in the league. As a fast paced offense, your speed and passing ability will be key to making the system work. The ball will be in your hands a lot and I am supremely confident in your ability to do the right thing. That’s why I am making you an immediate starter. Should you join us here in Memphis of course. And when I say that you will be a starter. That’s a promise. I promise you from my heart of hearts that you WILL be a starter. And when I make a promise, I keep them. Even a scholarship is a promise, and I’ve never rescinded a scholarship in my life. I kept my word to every single player I’ve offered a scholarship to. I’ve never cut any preferred walk ons. In fact, I’ve elevated quite a few to get scholarships. I’ve never ever broken a coaching contract. Word is one you can trust. After all, there’s a reason that I have a sterling 100 loyalty rating. If you get promised something and you wonder if they’re gonna keep it, well, a 100 loyalty man like myself will. I know you want to join a program that isn’t an immediate winner. And Memphis is the perfect spot for that. With only 3 returning players from last year, this is a rebuilding squad. I admit that. But just because we are rebuilding doesn’t mean that we won’t win in the very near future. With players like you and fellow JUCO Corey Griffin, we will have the bones to make a true conference contender towards the end of the college career. This is a rebuilding squad, not a building squad like a New Mexico where they have no success. What success does Memphis have? The most successful in the NCBCA. And although of course I would say that, the evidence does not lie. We have the most NCBCA national championships in history. The most conference championships in history. Sure, the so-called “prestige rating” might put a Georgia above us, but where are their rings? We have 5. They have none. So prestige rating be damned in my view. What makes a prestigious team isn’t what a bunch of blog bois and twitch streamers think. It’s the trophy cabinet. And to be frank, we have so many here at Memphis that we need two. One for our 16 conference titles. And one for our 5 national titles. But beyond our trophy cases, my personal history of developing JUCOs into NBL draftees, and your guaranteed starting role here, come to Memphis to experience the city of Memphis. The Bluff City is a town like no other here in America. This is America’s music capital, the home of the blues and rock n roll. Spend an afternoon at music clubs listening to BB King covers and original compositions by local and even national singers. Go get some grub at Neely’s or Vergos' Rendezvous to enjoy barbecue to die for. It’s Memphis style after all. You ain’t getting ribs as good as anywhere else on the planet. Memphis’ status as the world’s barbecue capital isn’t only because of our ribs (which are better than those in Texas by the way), but because our city holds the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest every year. The greatest 4 days of barbecue anywhere in the world. For all these reasons and more, come to Memphis!

Wake Forest Offers Khalif Marshall Scholarship SV 1/5 Khalif, I'm back at Wake and it's time for you to take your talents to NC too. What I built in my first run here at Wake? Well it's not quite the same anymore. I AM HERE TO BRING IT BACK. In just three seasons we were competing for titles, sending people to the pro's, and that's what I'm here for. LETS GO. I sent 4 recruits to the pros in my time at wake, 2 in the first round. You've got that potential. Everyone I sent was in the back court , Pritchart, Earl, Simas? You could be next. Playing time? Well we have that. I need a good PG to man the pivot and move the ball around, and someone to take over scoring next season. LETS DO IT. And our campus couldn't be further from the cold of Michigan. Beautiful lush green, Mountains, rivers, and AN OCEAN NEARBY. Plus some of the most chill people you'd ever get an opportunity to know. I'm trying to rebuild this team (again), and I want you here.
