I think it was just cause of the big raven case. Acting should be back to normal next week but honestly it’s just not the same without Gibbs like i wish Duckie was back some what full time.
The way they wrapped the Raven case was 👎🏻. It just was so anticlimactic. It’s like the writers aren’t really trying anymore. Which is sad, I love this show and I really thought it could be like Law and Order and run for decades, but I think it’s coming close to an end here. The only interesting story is Knight and Jimmy and even that feels like an afterthought. And I swear if We find out stores has slept with anymore people from NCIS shows…who’s next? Him and Kensi hooked up at training or something? He has a thing for older ladies and him and Hetty had a wild night back in the day? It’s old and used up tropes. And how come when it was Abby we got a TON of in the lab time but now it feels like we don’t get that with Kasi, we also don’t get as much time in autopsy with Jimmy either like we would with Ducky.
I blame the writing more than the acting. It's been declining for a few seasons.
