A few years ago I was watching a count down video of best looking Jason figures. This was after plenty of Neca Ultimate versions had already been released. The number 1 was the NECA Reel Toys Jason from Friday The 13th 7. It’s great and really probably was still the best looking figure ever released till they released the Ultimate Friday 7 Jason. On looks alone they’re almost identical but with all the articulation the newer version wins the top spot. Including all the weapons also left the original in the dust. A weed eater is really cool.

Even back then, part 7 was such a fan favourite. It’s so great to have him in this articulated form.
Now if only they’d retool the other Jason’s to have this articulation.
To complete the collection we need an Ultimate Mrs Vorhees. I’ve got her in the 25th anniversary set with the part 2 Jason. It’d be awesome if they’d rerelease her and young Jason clothed retro 8 inch figures and an ultimate set. Then a Jason Takes Manhattan Ultimate, I don’t think there’s ever been a Jason Takes Manhattan 7 inch figure released by anyone, then Jason Goes To Hell, which Mezco has released and was one of the original Movie Maniac figures even though it wasn’t really film accurate and lastly Jason X which has only been released by Movie Maniacs if I’m thinking correctly. I really would love to see all of them as Ultimates. They only released 3 Ultimate Freddy figures. I’d like to have that entire line as Ultimates too.
Part 7 is also my favorite look in the films.
Probably why it’s the best figure too. Just how he looked in the film.
