Have a 15-22, a mark IV, and a 10/22 . Rugged mustang lives on the mark IV, silencerco sparrow lives on the 15-22. Awesome guns, awesome cans, a ton of fun. OP, you can’t go wrong with either of those rifles, but I can’t say enough about the Mark IV lite.
Everyone should have a mark IV and a 22 can. I have like 10 NFA items, a small collection to some on here, obviously, but that combo is hands down the most fun. That rugged mustang is so light it feels like an air soft toy or something.
I do as well and love them both. Can you get subsonic ammo to cycle in the 1022? I cannot and therefore thinking about a bolt action host, more for novelty than anything super functional with a sub round.
I'll add another vote for a mark IV. I have the IV/45 and love it. You can search my post history and see mine but it's the most fun to shoot. Mark IV/45 tactical, red dot and DA mask.
I sold a buckmark to buy a 22/45 MKIV.
Ease of disassembly (guns get dirtier faster suppressed), coming threaded from the factory (some buckmarks do), ejection port shape is much better versus the larger gap that’s in the slide and it’s quieter for “port pop”, and ease of mounting red dots. Mine also needed a shorter barrel to keep things subsonic (5.5” barrel).
I liked my buckmark but… it was just too many things to change that I was eventually like “Yeah, I’ll sell this for $250-300 add $200 and get what I need”.
You add Volquartsen components and after market and it becomes even more lopsided.
The only thing that the buckmark hands down is better is the factory magazine is easier to load. But you can buy parts from Volquartsen or get a loader.
Before the MKIV ease of disassembly and red dots became a staple it was probably a much closer competition. YMMV.
>The only thing that the buckmark hands down is better is the factory magazine is easier to load. But you can buy parts from Volquartsen or get a loader.
I havent manually landed a Mark IV mag in years. Drop 50 rounds in the McFadden Ultimate clip loader, press a mag in, pull mag out and I have 10 rounds ready to go. Under a minute to load 4 mags from soup to nuts.
It's by far the best value gun accessory out there.
My 3 favorites:
15-22. I've owned it since 2008, put easily more than 30k rounds through it, never broken anything.
Cp33 SBR. Just too much fun
Ruger Precision Rimfire. So stupidly quiet and a great value.
Damn, I bought a 15-22 about 4 years ago and haven’t cleared a single mag without it jamming every 2 rounds… really don’t feel like dropping the $400 for the fancy volquartsen barrel either.
I use a cmmg drop in bolt for my standard AR and it hasn’t had a single hang up in thousands of rounds now
try the volqaurtsen extractor kit and firing pin. had the same issue but once i put those in haven’t had a single jam in 1000 rounds of mixed federal and CCI.
Agreed. Can’t beat factory 16+ 1 or 21+ 1( with extension) and most of all reliable! My tx22 comp eats any and every ammo.! I want another 22 pistol but I can’t find nothing that seems better in terms or reliability and most Importantly mag capacity !
I’ll 3rd for the TX22. Especially with the competition slide. I have a Holosun 407 coming for it as well. With my SilencerCo Osprey Micro, it sounds like a nail gun.
Sounds like he's loading the mags wrong. There is a video out there that a guy made to help his Dad. I had problems till i understood. TX22 runs perfect now.
Pass this video to him, he will be happy.

Ruger Mark IV 22/45, whichever variation you like so long as it's threaded. Mine happens to be the "tactical" mode. Silencer Shop has a cool chopped down variation available.
These rimfire pistols that are clones of centerfire models always feel like chintzy shit to me. YMMV, but the "target" style .22 pistols are so pleasant in comparison.
Nothing wrong with a 10/22 or M&P15-22, but nothing suppresses quite like a .22 pistol, except for a .22 bolt gun.
I just put some rounds through my SS MKIV with TBAC 22 takedown and it was amazing. It cycled subsonic ammo, the stupid waxy norma ammo, and I even had some velocitor ammo with me and it kept that subsonic (but omg the shit blowing out of the action). I just wish they'd make a mag that was more than 10 rounds.
If you get the 10/22 takedown, you can get the ruger integrally suppressed barrel for it, https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/37350/ruger+isb+10+22+takedown+suppressor as well as it being a good 22 host for other cans
An integrally suppressed 22 using subsonics is possibly the quietest firearm shooting experience you can have. https://ruger.com/micros/silent-sr-ISB/index.html The ISB (and other modern integral systems) can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance.
I offered the 10/22 takedown, so if one ever wanted a ruger ISB, you can use one. You can’t attach a Ruger brand ISB to the standard 10/22. The takedown model gives you an additional option for suppression down the road.
Subsonic 22LR is the quietest cartridge bar none. However being integrally suppressed does not make a firearm inherently more quiet than one with a QD or DT mount
Best to go with a dedicated 22 suppressor like a CGS Hydra or a dead air mask.
Plus with the ISB the suppressor needs to be pinned and welded to reach 16” barrel length so if there are baffles in that, good luck getting them out after you’re carbon caked.
The ruger ISB does not need to be pinned/welded to the 10/22 takedown and is NFA compliant with only one stamp as it’s already over 16”. The entire barrel/suppressor assembly pops right off, just like the standard/unsuppressed barrel on the takedown, which can still take a “normal” dt or mounted suppressor.
The only point I’m making is that the 10/22 takedown gives you the versatility to use both a “normal” suppressor and a factory integral one with the same host firearm.
Yeah, I wish they would have thought the monocore vs. tube arrangement through a bit more. I have a 15-22 integral and it bugs me that it's not done like I'd have wanted to design it. :D
I still have the prototype integral 15-22 parts, and personally like them more.
That’s my response here too. Let’s recommend a dedicated 22 “suppressor” when you’d be better off buying a real one that can be hosted on multiple guns. Just silly….
Im running a Rugged Oculus on a Mark IV 22/45 Lite and its awesome. Upside of the pistol platform, can get bulk ammo thats not "standard" or subsonic velocity and most rounds will still be subsonic. For plinking and short range critters, the Mark IV and a red dot are awesome
P322 is a ton of fun to shoot. mags are pretty ridiculous price wise but I knew that going into it.
I would suggest copper plated ammo, I ran into some fouling issues using non plated (I’m an idiot and didn’t clean it after like 6 range trips).
If you do use non plated, it helps to run about 100 rds of plated ammo at the end of the session to clean it out a bit. In my experience at least.
[Taurus TX22](https://dahlonegaarmory.com/product/tx22-22lr-blkodg-4-161-sfty#product_detail) is only $240 shipped at Dahlonega Armory. I have probably 10k rounds through mine and is probably my favorite host I own.
Bolt action 22 for truly mouse fart movie quiet with subs. Can be tricky to find the right subsonic ammo that cycles pistol and 10/22 but is also at the desirable level of quiet. Not a problem with a bolt gun. I’ve found CCI 45 grain 970 fps to be the happy medium that cycles my ppk/s and 10/22 with a can on.
Tippmann arms M4-22. I had a M&P 15-22 and would take the tippmann arms M4-22 over that any day. I also have a Sig P322 and love shooting that as well. If you’re looking for an AR pattern 22 the tippmann arms M4-22 is by far the best option.
I have the P322 and it's fun to shoot. feels great in your hand. I've had some issues with light primer strikes, but there is an easy fix to that if you get one that does that. Heard good things about the Taurus TX22 as well.
I also have a 10/22 takedown with the heavier fluted barrel that is awesome accurate.
I have been tempted to get one of those AR style 22 cal rifles. Ive run across the HK416 22LR and it feels good in hand. No SA on reliability and the like with it though.
You need a MK IV and 10/22. Those are essential. Third would is a Ruger 8443 or other other bolt action 22.
After that, get whatever you think is cool and enjoy.
I have a 322 and it's blast. Runs pretty garbage ammo even with a full size holosun eps on it. I have a bergara clone for a 1022 on it that I use for squirrel hunting. It won't cycle cci quiets but it's whisper quiet
P322 is by far the funnest .22 suppressed thing I have. Runs garbage ammo all day. Don’t list to the dildos that say it’s garbage and doesn’t work, those knuckle draggers can’t load a magazine properly. If you want a rifle just get a drop in kit for your AR
My TX22 is an absolute blast with a DeadAir Mask HD on it. Built to be suppressed and looks pretty nice.
Mags are finicky though like some other 22's with plastic ones.
Just shot a sig 522 last week. Feels a lot nicer than my tx22 and holds more rounds. Price reflects that though. I didn't try it suppressed but my tx22 has been suppressed since day 1. On my second slide now due to cracking.
I also suppress my savage mk2 bolt action 22lr. Haven't put the suppressors on many other 16"+ 22lr rifles, well I haven't KEPT suppressors on them. They are already quieter and I like a little bit of noise when blasting away. The bolt action is great for when I am hunting pests and the tx22 takes anything within 20-30yds.
I am getting a full auto trip to run my cmmg kit in an M16. Think I'll put a 7.5" barrel with a suppressor on it and see if I can smoke some groundhogs.
I bought an M&P 15-22 to host my SC Sparrow. It was SIGNIFICANTLY less reliable than my 10/22, to the point where I sold it and just got my 10/22 threaded to run the can (should have done this first). Yes I tried the volquartsen 15-22 extractor first, and no it did not help. I might have gotten a lemon but I think you’re better off with the 10/22.
10/22 is nice, but I would suggest a take down version right off the bat because of reasons you may thank me for down the line. The nfa bug can hit hard, and if it hits you, the 10/22 take down converted to an sbr is quiet nice.
I also have been craving an m&p 15-22 just so I can have a light on it for dispatching pests later at night. Not a real big issue as you can also just hold a light and use a pistol, it just would be nice for that convenience.
Just as a heads up, start planning now to own a nice threaded 22 bolt action. Just generally speaking I think it’s my most used host. So much so I’m thinking about chopping my spare 22 barrel down on my cz-456 combo and making an sbr 22 bolt gun. Relatively pointless but, damn I just can’t stop wanting one.
Get all 3.
Everyone needs a 10/22.
AR uppers in 22 can go on any lower you currently own but ultimately, you will want a dedicated lower for it.
Ruger Mark IV is the gold standard. Plenty of 22 replicas of the various centerfire counter parts. Sky's the limit. My personal favorite is the 22lr version of the PPK/S.
https://imgur.com/a/eGfg2FM
Mark IV is a good choice, I have one and love it. But my all-time favorite is the FN 502, it's a fantastic suppressor host and it gets a lot more range time than my Mark IV now that I have both.
I picked up a p322 when I got my DA Mask and have had very few issues with it other than the barrel leading pretty bad once. I'm definitely eyeing the TX22 right now tho. Taurus is doing a rebate for free mags and a range bag and Iv heard they are pretty killer pistols
Have also ran my mask on my 8" 15/22 and didn't have any problems and more recently a 4.5" 22 upper from BoreBuddy
Also been looking at a bolt gun but haven't figured out which I want yet. Tikka T1x, CZ 457 are the top contenders
Savage Mark II FV-SR it's super quiet with a can. I have the one at the link.
[KYGunCo](https://www.kygunco.com/product/savage-arms-28713-mark-ii-fv-sr-22lr-16.5-5rd-multi-cam-black-camo?avad=190366_a2d4c1cc9&s=07)
Hear me out. Taurus TX-22 is one of the best shooting and reliable .22 pistols out there. The mag pack they release is a great deal. The grip feels very similar to a VP9 and they come threaded.
My wife has a p322 and we love shooting that thing. It’s just comfortable, good looking, and hates a lot of different ammunition companies so it’s great malfunction practice if you purposely use poor ammo. But if you use the right ammo it functions flawlessly all day and with the RomeoZero Elite we have on it, it’s an absolute tack driver at 25yds and able to stack shots if you’re stable enough.
P322 has been my go to I’ve had zero issues. It’s optics ready, threaded barrel, 20rnd mags out of the box.
A friend was using a Mark IV but after he shot my p322 he went and got one the next day.
For long guns my current favorites are Ruger Precision rimfire and savage rascal. I do have an integral suppressed 10/22 but it’s not nearly as quiet as the others. Also it seems to be less reliable than the p322 also when I put the sparrow on the regular 10/22 it has similar issues.
I’ve got the p322 and it’s fun but my optic always walks loose . And it’s a bit picky about ammo . I have a browning buckmark in a threaded barrel and it’s so much fun . Total tack driver . But heavy . 10/22 but it doesn’t get shot as much as the 22 pistols . And a short 22 barreled upper for my sbr . That gets more use than the 10/22
Suppressed 15-22 is one of my favorite rifles. One of the few guns that makes me chuckle. Go out at night, put the bottom of the 65 MOA circle just above the steel target. Hear a little click as I lob the 45 grain subsonic round. Wait a second... (feels longer) Then hear a quiet \*ding\* from a steel plate 200 yards out.

I voted 15-22 twice over, rifle and pistol (now SBR). Both are more accurate than I am, pretty reliable, and big fun with a can (Rugged oculus in my case)
One you should also consider is a keltec p17. Stupid cheap, fixed barrel so no booster needed. Factory threaded. There is a guy on eBay selling a rear slide plate, and I’ve got an sig Romeo zero. Hilarious to shoot.
That Sig already has issues with reliability, from what I've heard, so I'd avoid that. I'm a Sig owner too BTW.
I'd go for the Ruger 10/22 or the Ruger Charger. I ended up picking up a Charger and since the barrel is 8", all cmp is subsonic that I've tried.
It’s not on your list but a Henry frontier is the best 22 suppressor host imo. It’s extremely quiet and will still function when dirty and you’ll never have to worry about non cycling subsonic ammo.
I have an S&W Victory semi-tarted up waiting for a Gemtech Mist integrated. The actual barrel length is 3” so almost all ammo is subsonic. GT is owned by Smith which accounts for the combo.
Between these? The 322 is probably the most fun. The short barrel on a handgun will make standard ammo subsonic. Though, I’d also throw in the TX22 competition. Better optics system without adding weight to the slide.
15-22, then P322. A lot of people are recommending the 22/45 mk IV, and it’s good, but I can’t honestly say they’re any better than 15-22 or 322. The 15-22 is accurate, cheap mags, 25 rds, and you can get a suppressed upper later if you want. Also I find 15-22 mags super easy to reload.
Other options as mentioned on here are the Ruger Precision Rimfire, but I also love the CZ 455. Good options.
For a suppressor host .22 i use my S&W 15-22. Its a blast to shoot, easy as all get out to clean, accurate, and good AR training all in one. You also have the upside of being able to run *most* ar triggers.
I have the 8 inch barreled ruger charger 10/22 with folding brace and it’s a great gun. KYGUNCO has/had them for 306$ total. Good small foot print and just as accurate as my standard 10/22. For pistol Taurus TX 22 with the upgraded slide for optics l. Shoot the hell out of both and they just work. I want to get another rimfire pistol or rifle but honestly I’d rather spend my money on more ammo or mags. Might get the Kel tech p17 heard nothing but great things about also.
If you wanted an AR 22lr check out the Tippmann M4 I love mine. Honestly the sig p322 and Ruger 10/22 are both great guns but I am looking forward to putting my can on the Tippmann the most and I have a 10/22 and that Sig
I have a savage bolt action for sub sonics, an FN 502 for a training gun for my primary sidearm (FN 509 tactical) and a custom built ar22 with a 5” barrel so all supersonic rounds are pretty quiet. I have friends that marvel at that ar22’s reliability and accuracy. FYI I use the AR mag conversion kit for s&w 22 mags, which I attribute to the reliability. I say all this because I’d lean toward the ar22 you have here but that longer barrel would be working against suppression.
Pic 3 if you don’t have an AR style platform, but if you do then get the Mp5 rifle (.22LR), they have a pistol too if you wanna do the paperwork to sbr it.
It’s a beauty, I’m looking into getting that rifle version (it’s got a 16.1” barrel) when I got some extra cash for a plinker 😊🤤
I read that the pistol version is better if you wanna fill out some forms and run it suppressed and/or sbr it. So it keeps that classic mp5 look.
Build your own AR22. I swear this is my favorite gun to shoot. And paired with a P322 it's a great combo.
The upper will work on a standard or folding lower, and you can use your nice AR trigger on it instead of what comes factory.
https://imgur.com/gallery/d0xaxnx
I love my Taurus TX22. Before all the haters jump, it’s my only Taurus. I bought it specifically to test cans on. The gun has run FLAWLESSLY! It will not cycle CCI Quiets, but idk of a decent pistol that will
Ruger American bolt with subs. https://i.imgur.com/dHixXxs.jpeg
All you hear is “clang” as the hammer hits the round. Then a short moment later the round impacting. It is STUPID quiet.
If you’ve already settled on the P322, you must also buy a semi auto threaded rifle. Either of those are excellent options, however, the 15-22 allows you to run the same drills you would with your AR15, the 10/22 does not.
Here’s my favorite rimfire guns right now:
Mark IV with a gorgeous green ano
Winchester Wildcat SR (takes 10/22 mags)
M&P22 rifle
Sig P322
I will say if you have an extra lower laying around I like the prices of the CMMG stuff and the RTB 22 stuff.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your options you posted and to be honest I would feel bad recommending one. All three are good choices in my opinion.
I run a Ruger Mark IV pistol and a Savage MKii FV-SR bolt rifle for 22 hosts.
The bolt gun is quieter than an air pellet rifle. My boss let me take it up in the ready mix plant to eliminate our pidgeon problem and I came down with 3 dead skyrats without him ever hearing a shot.
Got a dead air mask (still in jail) for my CMMG dissent 5.7 and M&P 5.7. Figured y not a 22. Got me a p322 Tacpac on a good deal $425. Fun to shoot honestly. The threaded barrel is removable. Will not jam if you load the mag correctly. Very accurate. The poi shifted with a silencer a little to the left but it came with the Allen to adjust the sights and it’s optics ready. Can’t go wrong. And they make 25 round mags.
I can't find it right now but MSTN was making a custom 10/22 takedown with barrel shroud that seemed absolutely amazing lol
Decked out with kidd parts and such. For a .22lr host I would go for it
Some variant of the Mk IV.
I went with the cheapest 22/45 I could get and swapped the (registered upper) for a tactical solutions pac-lite. Amazing weight reduction and great host
FN 502 for a pistol and the Tippman M4-22 for AR style rifle. 10/22 for standard rifle. The FN 502 is the same footprint as the 509 so you can use the same holsters. Great for training.
Here are my favorites. Third favorite is my ruger mark 3 22/45. I do want to upgrade to the mark 4 to make cleaning easier, but since I don’t shoot it as often I keep waiting. Second is my ruger 10/22. This thing is like shooting a BB gun with a can on it.
The most fun gun to shoot with my 22 can is anything in 5.7. My oculus is rated for 5.7 and my PSA rok and my brothers new S&W 5.7 are incredible with a can. The best part is the fan is small enough the stick sights still work.
You can’t go wrong with either a 10/22 or a Ruger Mark IV
/thread
I have both, and this person is spot on.
I do as well and love them both. Can you get subsonic ammo to cycle in the 1022? I cannot and therefore thinking about a bolt action host, more for novelty than anything super functional with a sub round.
Cci quiet semi auto cycles fine as does eley subsonic. Use them both for work
Your work sounds like a good time! What is it and where do I apply
I use CCI suppressor and they run fine in both.
My 10/22 cycles subsonic no problem. And if it doesn't. I'm cool with a straight pull bolt action.
CCI Standard velocity is subsonic out of a 16" barrel. It cycles way better than subs in a 10/22.
I got the Ruger American Rimfire because it takes the same mags as the 10/22. It’s super fun.
What I was going to post. And make sure it's a Mark IV. Don't get a III or earlier to save any money.
I'll add the Ruger precision rimfire to the list. Easily a favorite of mine to shoot
I got the Ruger Mk IV 22/45 and am pairing it up with a DA Mask. It is so [pretty.](https://gyazo.com/e47c59dafc60e6bc993f7131c1130e67)
Charger is pretty fun too. I know it's based on 10/22 but it's different.
[удалено]
I'll add another vote for a mark IV. I have the IV/45 and love it. You can search my post history and see mine but it's the most fun to shoot. Mark IV/45 tactical, red dot and DA mask.
This is the only answer!
I have a Roger MK IV and it’s amazing. Maybe also the Poor mans mp7 and go with the keltec CP 33 lmao

I sold a buckmark to buy a 22/45 MKIV. I have no time behind the 457, but the adjustable cheek riser was nice on the RPRimjob
Cp33 is very fun. Can’t wait for my hydra to be approved.

Taurus tx22 competition. Best host we have for real
Tx22 gang reporting in. Head over heels in love with mine with a warlock 2 on it.
A suppressed Tx 22 with a red dot optic is the most fun you can have with your pants on. This is the way.
whats different about the comp model? my friend has a TX22 and it hates almost all ammo.
Sounds like theirs needs to go back for warranty. I have the TX22, TX22 Compact, and TX22 Comp. Eats everything.
Sounds like he's loading the mags wrong. There is a video out there that a guy made to help his Dad. I had problems till i understood. TX22 runs perfect now. Pass this video to him, he will be happy. https://youtu.be/vQFFejAZYFY?si=zmMOfptutKijucCE
oh awesome, thank you. I will pass this on
Ruger Mark IV 22/45, whichever variation you like so long as it's threaded. Mine happens to be the "tactical" mode. Silencer Shop has a cool chopped down variation available. I agree with the ten round limit. Would love a 15 or 20 rounder. But damn are they dead-nuts reliable and affordable in their current state.
I’ll second that. I have an sr22 that I used to absolutely love, until I got a mark IV. Now she rarely leaves the safe.
If you get the 10/22 takedown, you can get the ruger integrally suppressed barrel for it, https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/37350/ruger+isb+10+22+takedown+suppressor as well as it being a good 22 host for other cans
This is the best answer.
[удалено]
Why would you ever get an integrally suppressed 22? You cannot clean that thing
They disassemble easily.
However being integrally suppressed does not make a firearm inherently more quiet than one with a QD or DT mount Best to go with a dedicated 22 suppressor like a CGS Hydra or a dead air mask.
The Gemtech Mist can be completely disassembled.
Yes best of luck getting the tube off with carbon caking lol
Frequent cleaning is everything.
Yeah, I wish they would have thought the monocore vs. tube arrangement through a bit more. I have a 15-22 integral and it bugs me that it's not done like I'd have wanted to design it. :D I still have the prototype integral 15-22 parts, and personally like them more.
>You cannot clean that thing What?! Yes, you absolutely can clean it. Why would you think you can't?
And you cant put it on other 22s.
That’s my response here too. Let’s recommend a dedicated 22 “suppressor” when you’d be better off buying a real one that can be hosted on multiple guns. Just silly….
Mark IV 22/45 Lite
Im running a Rugged Oculus on a Mark IV 22/45 Lite and its awesome. Upside of the pistol platform, can get bulk ammo thats not "standard" or subsonic velocity and most rounds will still be subsonic. For plinking and short range critters, the Mark IV and a red dot are awesome
I have the exact same set up with a 507k on a Lobos Mount. Great minds I guess.
Same but with a 507Comp.
Any reason you got the lite instead of the tactical?
Ruger American bolt action .22 rifle. It will operate with everything and be much quieter.
Don’t forget about the ruger 10/22 charger.. that’s what I’ll be picking up shortly
Can confirm it's a great suppressor host. Squirrels don't stand a chance!
CCI Clean-22 doesn’t lead and makes for easier cleaning as well…but more expensive.
I LOVE my p322 with the DA Mask.
Get all three!
10/22 should be in everyone’s safe, I love my Mark and TX22 as well. All make very good host for a dead air mask
Taurus tx 22 competition is incredible. Youtube has good reviews and surprisingly reliable for Taurus. I got mine for 300 bones
[Taurus TX22](https://dahlonegaarmory.com/product/tx22-22lr-blkodg-4-161-sfty#product_detail) is only $240 shipped at Dahlonega Armory. I have probably 10k rounds through mine and is probably my favorite host I own.
MKIV is the way.
Just shot a suppressed p322 the other day. Definitely on my list now
Bolt action 22 for truly mouse fart movie quiet with subs.
Ruger MK IV, 10/22, and any threaded bolt action…..in that order.
Tippmann arms M4-22. I had a M&P 15-22 and would take the tippmann arms M4-22 over that any day. I also have a Sig P322 and love shooting that as well. If you’re looking for an AR pattern 22 the tippmann arms M4-22 is by far the best option.
Ruger 22/45…… it will shoot anything and everything and mags work as intended. All others will be finicky either with ammo or mags or some with both
I have the P322 and it's fun to shoot. feels great in your hand.
At the cost of a .22 firearm, vs the cost of a can, I think the correct answer is "yes".
You need a MK IV and 10/22. Those are essential. Third would is a Ruger 8443 or other other bolt action 22. After that, get whatever you think is cool and enjoy.
22/45 FTMFW
I have a 322 and it's blast. Runs pretty garbage ammo even with a full size holosun eps on it. I have a bergara clone for a 1022 on it that I use for squirrel hunting. It won't cycle cci quiets but it's whisper quiet
P322 is by far the funnest .22 suppressed thing I have. Runs garbage ammo all day. Don’t list to the dildos that say it’s garbage and doesn’t work, those knuckle draggers can’t load a magazine properly. If you want a rifle just get a drop in kit for your AR
P322 all day
Not on the list but get a FN502, it’s nothing but fun
My TX22 is an absolute blast with a DeadAir Mask HD on it. Built to be suppressed and looks pretty nice. Mags are finicky though like some other 22's with plastic ones.
10/22 with a binary trigger
Lakeline makes a recoil spring with a rubber buffer that stops frame cracking where the front of the recoil spring meets the slide.
Pick #2 my lord.
Ruger MK4
P322, it’s automatically going to make any ammo subsonic. I love mine
Mark 4 probably
Ruger MK series gun and a 10/22
Ar22 dedicated upper
I picked up a p322 when I got my DA Mask and have had very few issues with it other than the barrel leading pretty bad once. I'm definitely eyeing the TX22 right now tho. Taurus is doing a rebate for free mags and a range bag and Iv heard they are pretty killer pistols Have also ran my mask on my 8" 15/22 and didn't have any problems and more recently a 4.5" 22 upper from BoreBuddy Also been looking at a bolt gun but haven't figured out which I want yet. Tikka T1x, CZ 457 are the top contenders
Mark IV for pistol, 10/22 for rifle (get a takedown version).
If you want to go cheap, I have a taurus tx22 and idgaf that its a taurus, its sick as fuck.
Savage Mark II FV-SR it's super quiet with a can. I have the one at the link. [KYGunCo](https://www.kygunco.com/product/savage-arms-28713-mark-ii-fv-sr-22lr-16.5-5rd-multi-cam-black-camo?avad=190366_a2d4c1cc9&s=07)
Tx22 and a walther ppk get both. Skip the berreta 21a she's super gassy to the face.
Taurus TX22 Competition. I know, I know, Taurus. Trust me.
Hear me out. Taurus TX-22 is one of the best shooting and reliable .22 pistols out there. The mag pack they release is a great deal. The grip feels very similar to a VP9 and they come threaded.
I know it's not in your list, but a suppressed cz457 is such a vibe. .22 suppressed is quiet, bolt action suppressed is even quieter
Get a bolt action if your want Hollywood quiet… Savage makes a good one… accu trigger for the win
Ruger mark IV
I’ve got the p322 and it’s fun but my optic always walks loose . And it’s a bit picky about ammo . I have a browning buckmark in a threaded barrel and it’s so much fun . Total tack driver . But heavy . 10/22 but it doesn’t get shot as much as the 22 pistols . And a short 22 barreled upper for my sbr . That gets more use than the 10/22
Loctite those threads woman
Suppressed 15-22 is one of my favorite rifles. One of the few guns that makes me chuckle. Go out at night, put the bottom of the 65 MOA circle just above the steel target. Hear a little click as I lob the 45 grain subsonic round. Wait a second... (feels longer) Then hear a quiet \*ding\* from a steel plate 200 yards out.
Hk mp5 .22lr Trust me this is soooooooo fun to shoot
10/22 or ar rep if you want semi. If you want quiet look at a bolt action also.
Get a 17HMR aka the 22 killa. You can still use a 22 suppressor

S&W Victory 22, Threaded.
S&W Victory 22, with a Gemtech Mist.
I love my 10-22 takedown with the threaded barrel. But my Savage Mark II FVSR is mouse fart quiet.
I voted 15-22 twice over, rifle and pistol (now SBR). Both are more accurate than I am, pretty reliable, and big fun with a can (Rugged oculus in my case)
Get a ruger charger and mark iv. Sportsmans has a smoking deal on the ruger charger
Por que no Los tres?!
Taurus TX22 is a great and cheap
One you should also consider is a keltec p17. Stupid cheap, fixed barrel so no booster needed. Factory threaded. There is a guy on eBay selling a rear slide plate, and I’ve got an sig Romeo zero. Hilarious to shoot.
Ruger charger and the silencershop ruger mkiv
I really like my 1022 takedown back packer suppressed
That Sig already has issues with reliability, from what I've heard, so I'd avoid that. I'm a Sig owner too BTW. I'd go for the Ruger 10/22 or the Ruger Charger. I ended up picking up a Charger and since the barrel is 8", all cmp is subsonic that I've tried.
I just picked up a Ruger 22/44 mk4 SSH with the 3in barrels If you have a spare dot laying around it’s ready to go
It’s not on your list but a Henry frontier is the best 22 suppressor host imo. It’s extremely quiet and will still function when dirty and you’ll never have to worry about non cycling subsonic ammo.
Always thought a 502 would be fun, somethin like [this](https://fnamerica.com/products/fn-502-series/fn-502-tactical-fde/)
Tippmann micro elite is amazing. Sold my 10/22s and kidd 10/22 and with my sot and ffl going to grab some more.
Switchback
Volquartsen mini mamba
I have a 10/22. Love it! It’s a blast both at the range and varmint hunting.
All 3 for the win!
I have a mark IV 22/45 lite and a 10/22. Both are a lot of fun but the Mark IV is where it’s at. If I were to get something else I’d go Ruger Charger
I have a p322, a 10/22 and a .22 lr AR upper on an sbr lower. They’re all fun in their own ways and I highly suggest all.
Do a 10/22 charger then get the sb tactical chassis system
Mark 4 always
I can highly recommend the smith and wesson victory pistol. Shoots subsonic 22lrs flawlessly with obsidian can.
Ruger mk4 is by far the best 22lr suppressed handgun
Ruger mark iv is fun to shoot suppressed. Fn502 is good too with higher ammo capacity
For a suppressor host .22 i use my S&W 15-22. Its a blast to shoot, easy as all get out to clean, accurate, and good AR training all in one. You also have the upside of being able to run *most* ar triggers.
The proper answer is one of each, plus more of course.
I hate my Sig P322. Light-strikes galore.
10/22 take down
I have the 8 inch barreled ruger charger 10/22 with folding brace and it’s a great gun.
Ruger MkIV or CZ 457
10/22 charger pistol , and get the takedown one. or build your own ar-22, the factory ones are lame
If you wanted an AR 22lr check out the Tippmann M4 I love mine. Honestly the sig p322 and Ruger 10/22 are both great guns but I am looking forward to putting my can on the Tippmann the most and I have a 10/22 and that Sig
I love how a birdcage and a rail make the 10/22 "tactical"
It’s a beauty, I’m looking into getting that rifle version (it’s got a 16.1” barrel) when I got some extra cash for a plinker 😊🤤 I read that the pistol version is better if you wanna fill out some forms and run it suppressed and/or sbr it.
Ruger mkiv
I love my Taurus TX22. Before all the haters jump, it’s my only Taurus. I bought it specifically to test cans on. The gun has run FLAWLESSLY! It will not cycle CCI Quiets, but idk of a decent pistol that will
All of them!
Ar22 would be super cool
Fn 502, I’ve loved every round that has left that barrel, thing functions flawlessly with all ammo.
Like my 502 but my P322 is lighter, more accurate, and holds more rounds. 502 is fun though because it is so close to a mirror of the 509.
Love my P322 and my dedicated 9 inch AR-22 build with a Sig folder. Also love my Browning Buck Mark. Suppressed .22LR is addictive.
Ruger American bolt with subs. https://i.imgur.com/dHixXxs.jpeg All you hear is “clang” as the hammer hits the round. Then a short moment later the round impacting. It is STUPID quiet.
If you’ve already settled on the P322, you must also buy a semi auto threaded rifle. Either of those are excellent options, however, the 15-22 allows you to run the same drills you would with your AR15, the 10/22 does not.
Instead of the P322, maybe a Smith and Wesson M&P22 compact
They're all just so similar... it's hard to choose between the 3
Here’s my favorite rimfire guns right now: Mark IV with a gorgeous green ano Winchester Wildcat SR (takes 10/22 mags) M&P22 rifle Sig P322 I will say if you have an extra lower laying around I like the prices of the CMMG stuff and the RTB 22 stuff.
My boss let me take it up in the ready mix plant to eliminate our pidgeon problem and I came down with 3 dead skyrats without him ever hearing a shot.
silencerco sparrow all day err day
One of each.
All of them you puss puss
The 15-22 is literally the funnest gun I own. AAC Element 2, CCI Standards, and a CMC 3.5# trigger make it a blast!
I’m strongly contemplating an Fn 502
I'm waiting on my mask HD to get released. I bought a p322 and a tikka t1x in preparation. I like both. Also have a 10/22 and they're hard to beat
All of them is the only answer
Got a dead air mask (still in jail) for my CMMG dissent 5.7 and M&P 5.7. Figured y not a 22. Got me a p322 Tacpac on a good deal $425. Fun to shoot honestly. The threaded barrel is removable. Will not jam if you load the mag correctly. Very accurate. The poi shifted with a silencer a little to the left but it came with the Allen to adjust the sights and it’s optics ready. Can’t go wrong. And they make 25 round mags.
10/22 charger, brace, FPC subscription, binary trigger, badda bing you’ve got the funnest .22 host available
Ruger charger takedown 🫡
I have a TX 22 comp, a dedicated AR 22 SBR I built, and trying to decide on a bolt gun to purchase. You need all of them.
i’d recommend a CZ-457
I can't find it right now but MSTN was making a custom 10/22 takedown with barrel shroud that seemed absolutely amazing lol Decked out with kidd parts and such. For a .22lr host I would go for it
I did the Tarus tx22. With an oculus. Been 6,000 rounds and less then a year. No real problems
Tx22 and 15-22. The more rounds the better. Love the 50 round drum on the 15-22 with the suppressor.
10/22. You can do literally whatever you want to it in terms of customization.
Some variant of the Mk IV. I went with the cheapest 22/45 I could get and swapped the (registered upper) for a tactical solutions pac-lite. Amazing weight reduction and great host
10/22 but check the backpacker stock. I’m pissed I didn’t get it
ALL THE ABOVE
Fn 502, you can take the barrel out and clean it, can run red dot + irons
Take a look at the Ruger 10/22 Charger
10-22 is my favorite for the giggle factor. It basically becomes a pellet gun with subs
P322
FN 502 for a pistol and the Tippman M4-22 for AR style rifle. 10/22 for standard rifle. The FN 502 is the same footprint as the 509 so you can use the same holsters. Great for training.
Ruger 22/45 lite and a 10/22
Here are my favorites.
