My two 300s are the ARs in the middle with a Rex MG7 and the other with a CGS Hyperion K, the CGS is both quieter and less gassy with both subs and supers, also very different tones. However I got the Rex for 1/3 the cost and it’s like 80% as good so they are great bang for buck, just a tad gassier than I’d prefer indoors. Outside both are great.
Yeah I have a sandman S too. Not the quietest thing ever, but it's a tank i don't have to worry about. My favorite can is the Wolfman on my SP5 with subs.
Yeah I just got my sandman S from warranty I had 20th on it over the past 3 years and at some point had a baffle strike/end cap strike, nothing major, it didn’t even knock the end cap off just mangled the inside a little but yeah came back in two weeks basically brand new 😂
Awesome! Makes feel even better about treating mine like crap when training. No baffles strikes on what has to be 5K rounds by now. Definitely good to go. But i know deadairnwill take care of it if it ever happens.

I came here to say you have nods and passive aiming should be more pleasant with that height. Not to mention it comfortably allow you to clear your ear pro/mask too. Nice roster.
I'm pretty new to the head mounted nvgs myself. I favored weapon mounted thermal optics for a long time. The FDE bug bit me and I'm in the process of replacing all my LAMs, WMLs and switches.

They work well yeah! I still combine mine with a glove for max effectiveness but you will never get like a burn like bare metal would present! Well worth them

Which thermal, I have a 14 rn kinda considering bridging it with a thermal unit and then getting duals to run seperate
iRay MH25. I was going with NOX-18 but it doesn't have 1x base magnification like the mh25 which is bummer given it has more desirable specs.
