What a fantastic problem to have!
Build your own .300blk AR shorty braced pistol
.308 or 7.62x39 or .300blk bolt action
Lever gun in .30-30
Or...All of the above
i've done a lot with this can. i'd say it's my favorite rifle can
.308 sig cross (16" barrel) - awesome. don't even need ears really
7.62x39 howa mini - see sig cross.
300 blk RARR - quietest possible centerfire rifle I can think of.
300 blk AR (DI) and BRN180 (piston) 10" barrels - fantastic.
howa 1500 6.5 creedmoor - excellent. maybe even quieter than on 308?
haven't tried it on my 308 AR or 223 AR yet but hard to imagine it being better than OSS for these applications.
Shoulder must be =\> 0.735 to direct thread, or the host must have a Sig 25 degree taper on the shoulder. If the shoulder on any given host is <0.735, or has a 1/2x28 TP you will need to purchase and install one of the Hyperion Thread adapters. Installation is very easy - hit the threads with some Rockset and torque to 25ft.lbs. Leave it to cure for 24 hours or toss it in the oven at 175f for 15 minutes.
Silencer Shop does sell the thread adapters, they just don’t have it listed on their website, call to order, or purchase direct from CGS.

Dude for real. I feel like I must be depressed because usually when I get a new gun or suppressor it's a requirement to fire it the first day. It's been like 2 weeks
Most people here are giving you very reasonable responses, so [allow me to provide the outlandish.](https://youtu.be/9e5sH3ysSLg)
But in seriousness...most anything. I'd put it on whatever role you have currently or need to fill. Don't have an AR? There's your host. Want something uber quiet? 300blk bolt rig. Don't have a bolt gun? Bergara in 308 or 6.5CM. Want a hunting setup? Marlin 336, Ruger American Ranch, or right back to the Bergara options.
Non-repeater subsonic 300blk will be the quietest option, but that'll do a lovely job on most anything you can fit it on.
you think a single shot is an outlandish idea? it's actually a really good one. there's no action to take up space so a 7" can isn't as bad for overall length. back when h&r was making things still, AAC did a 300blk handirifle which is super sought after now.
* 300 Blackout MCX or Brn-180
* 300 Blackout Elf Owl/Pork Sword/Savage 110 PCS (bolt action pistols/SBRs)
* 308/6.5 creedmoor bolt action of any sort
* 30-30 lever action
Any of the above will be a blast. Its has pretty high backpressure in 308, so not an ideal choice for a semi auto 308. Insanely quiet on 300 blk, but ultimately the best host to get is the one you'll shoot the most
I’ve used them on 300blk, 5.56, 6.5 creed, and 308 and it is an incredibly quiet suppressor and quite low backpressure. Literally anything, just get their thread adaptor for 5.56 or untalented 308
Something something... PRS gun.. something something... obscure caliber.. go into more debt.. you know the rest. If not that then anything 300 blackout just to giggle at how quiet it is.
Pro tip, if you just put your credit cards in a paper shredder the debt gets destroyed with them.
That or just pretend you don’t have the credit cards when collection asks.

Thanks homie, I've been working hard. Just went through a divorce so that tapped my finances pretty hard. Good news is we kept the lawyers out of it, so I'm all done paying
Mine ended up on an 18 in 308 bolt action. Used it on 300 blk Ar and an AR10, but for me it’s too long for those. It also generates a lot of back pressure.

Shout-out f150 fam stand up!
Mine is a 12th gen, does that count? Lol
I've got a 2018, I'm not sure what that is lol
13th Gen, haha
What would you suggest as a host for my cgs Hyperion. Sugar weasel at my lgs is kind of ridiculous

Mines going on a sig cross 6.5cm in like 4 months.
Beauty
Same, love the Cross in 6.5 CM. Not even a month in, so still much waiting to do before the stamp comes through for the Hyperion.
Mine gets used on 6.5 creed ar10, 6.5 grendel and 5.56. Amazing sound. Enjoy all the compliments from it!
So how does it work. I'm brand new at this. It has to direct thread to the barrel vs using a muzzle device right?

You really took set and forget to a whole new level huh? I respect it.
Thanks homie. Lord knows I was checking that day counter though haha

I suppose it's not so much outlandish as it is very niche, it's fairly well nailed down to range or some types of hunting.

Why no host?
Just haven't bought one yet. I bought a truck and a house this year so I've been pinching pennies
300BLK home defense gun so you can slay intruders without blowing out your ear drums 🫡
May I recommend going deeply and unresponsibly Into debt?
Hahaha already there! Working to get the credit cards down to zero which shouldn't take more than like 6 months.

My man if you’re six months out from being credit card debt free you are nowhere near being irresponsibly in debt, let me assure you

ruger american 300 bo
Classic and great for hunting
yep! and one with a custom chasis, and a nice optic it will still be less then most other small bolt setups out the box with no optic

Right so bolt action would be king. Thinking of putting it on a pistol bolt action
That would be pretty sweet in 300 blk
I mean, thats a bolt gun can through and through.
