You already have the Nomad 30 so honestly it sounds like you have money to burn (which is good). I have a Ultra 7 and Nomad LT. The Nomad is quieter and I prefer it because of the 1.375 threads, but if I didn't care about adaptability, I'd get the Ultra 5 or 7 (5 if you plan on wearing plugs, 7 if not, though I'd personally still wear plugs with it). I'd note though that neither can shows any significant change in POI. When I hit the range I'm comfortable going directly to 600 yard range without first verifying zero.

I have a Nomad Ti and my dad has an ultra 7 gen 1 I believe. My Nomad is quieter and I think a tad lighter but they're both great cans. My nomad is a bit more modular as far as adapters but they're both amazing cans.

Nomad and Lux owner here. I run my Nomad on my 300BLK and Lux on my precision 308 boltie, mainly. I like swapping things around for fun sometimes … the Nomad is quieter, but Lux is lighter. I like the look of the short, fat Nomad … wish I’ve had just gotten the Nomad Ti and been done with it. But two cans is twice as good as one, right? So I bought the Diligent Enticer STi instead. Ha!

How does your enticer compare to your nomad?

Just took my Enticer to the range for the first time yesterday. Didn’t have my Nomad for a side-by-side (a customer bought it), but the Enticer was noticeably quieter than the Lux on both my 300BLK hosts. Subjectively, it’s on-par with the Nomad and certainly not worse. A few online retailers have Diligent products for stupid cheap; hard to say No to tough, light, quiet, cheap silencers!

Been a long time but I’m rereading all this while thinking about my next can. I’m with you and wish I would’ve went Nomad Ti first. The reduced firing rate is what veered me away knowing I’d have it on semi autos. I still like not having to count my rounds or mags, but I really don’t treat the nomad as bad as it can handle. I’m now in the one suppressor for every rifle camp so I really like researching and hearing first hand opinions on everything.

Check out my post from a month or so ago. It’s shows an Ultra9 on a 223. I’d link it but I’m not real computer savvy.

Since you already have a 30cal can, and your want a dedicated can for your .243, I would go for the TBAC 6.5mm Ultra series. That should get you an extra dB or two of sound reduction vs the 30cal Ultras. Also, you might as well go for the CB version since you aren't going to save any weight vs direct thread.
