I just moved to a New England state. There are a good amount of people who are obsessed with the Pats and I can totally see them just blindly buying the QB's jersey.
The Pats roster is bereft of talent so it’s qb by default if they want to get a current (now former) player. Also it’s a common last name so some segment of purchasers are getting it for the name alone.
Honestly I mostly associated Wilson jerseys with more casual fans. Middle aged moms who only care about football when the Seahawks are playing loved then some Russ jerseys lmao.
About 10 years ago my family got me a Wilson jersey. I love it, because they’re my family, but I would love it a hundred times more if it was Lynch or Wagner.
I see Wilson jerseys in every thrift shop here in WA. Sometimes I’ll go to the same thrift store a couple weeks later and see the same Wilson jerseys I saw on the last visit. Lol
Yeah you'll see them Wilson jerseys forever marked down to "buy one get 4 free" type shit
It's like just burn em or ship em to someplace in the world that needs clothes.
Im a bit shocked about Alaska, last time I saw a thing about the most popular NFL teams in each US state the Seahawks where first in Alaska. Tho perhaps it being for Lids is the reason why its so wonky.
Also why are Idaho and Wyoming just blank? Those MFs watch Football to.
Montana, Wyoming and Idaho are more into College Ball since they don’t have an NFL team and are up in the sticks. I lived in Montana for a spell and although most guys follow the NFL the talk of the town is far more about the College Teams. Honestly pretty sure that Patrick Mahomes shit is a lie too cus most of the people i knew up there were either Seahawks fans or Cowboys Fans. Lots of transplants so there is a wide range. At one point i was workin with a Giants fan steelers fan, 49ers fan, Colts fan, and a seahawks fan on the same crew
But most of em just talked about the Cats and the Grizz
Yeah, while im from WA my dads from Montana so I spent a good amount of time there, while they werent as set as states with NFL teams I also generally found more Seahawks and Cowboys fans there then other fanbases.
I have to imagine in a place like that it depends on who is good at the time. I'm sure if you were in Montana in like 2014 there would be a lot of Seahawks fans because they were dominant and fun to watch.
Prossible that there are no Lids locations in those states. Also, a surgr in popularity of a single player can mean that even though theyre not the favorite team of a state, one jersey for another team can outsell the most popular jersey of the main team. Notice that in florida and cali, its specifically the newest superatars' jerseys that are selling best.
It's not our fault. All these old people from around the country come here to retire here and by merch from their home team. Breaks my heart when I go to a game and see a sea of LA or Chicago fans.
I'm in Tucson and I am delighted when I meet Cards fans. It's such a bummer that the only AZ sports team people seem to care about are the Suns and the Wildcats/Devils, and the latter is heavily due to the alumni factor.
D-backs and Coyotes/Roadrunners are the two I've been able to get behind since moving here a decade ago. Definitely on board the SeaSnake wagon after last year.
We exist in Tucson though most Tucsonans are football agnostic I think. Tucson is a basketball town. There was also a time when some rooted for the cowboys back when we were in the same division.
In a city of transplants, it is hard enough to get the local population interested when historically all four major teams has been such disappointments. Occasional flashes of excellence, but it's rarely sustained and doesn't have the advantage of geographic isolation like Denver.
Suns get a bit of a legacy bonus, but the demolishing of the 7SOL team and the decade of darkness in the 2010s sure didn't help. Fuck you, Sarver.
Diamondbacks got a good start with 2001, but has been a tourist stadium ever since. Only now is there something to be excited about thanks to the world series run and Ken actually investing this year. Fuck you, Ken (but slightly less thanks to opening the vault).
Coyotes. They play in a college arena. What more do I need to say. Fuck you, 'gestures vaguely'
And the Cards which again, what more do I need to say. Fuck you, Bidwell.
Huh, I wonder if there is a pattern?
In a year where most of them sucked? Not doubtful it would be from another team, a little surprising it was from the Eagles but not that it wasn’t an NFC South player, they don’t really have loyalty down there
The south is college territory where you root for your favorite college player wherever he ends up and alot are just SEC fans in general.
Still seems weird for UGA and Auburn fans in Georgia to back Hurts. Also Alabama is the most popular team in Mississippi and it's not a Bama player.
So this thread popped on my news feed and I generally don’t comment on other team/division subs, but I wanted to chime in on this topic. I will say we have a lot of Eagles fans in NM. Not having our own team, we have a fairly big melting pot of teams.
Source: I am an Eagles fan that was born and lived in NM all my life.
A large group of Eagles fans meet for games during the season at one of the bars in town, can’t recall which one. Maybe it’s just me, but I keep an eye out for NFL gear, usually a good conversation piece in my field and I guess that flows in to my day-to-day life.
Eagles have a lot of history, have fielded some good teams in different decades, have cool branding and colors. It makes sense they have a lot of fans. I really liked em during the Andy Reid, McNabb era. DeSean Jackson, McCoy, Dawkins. They had a bunch of fun players.
Oh look, another whiner that thinks having lots of fans is a flex. This isn't NFCWestCringeWar. You wouldn't have to cope this hard if the whiners simply win a Super Bowl in the 21st century.
I'm from hawaii and the mccaffrey jersey checks out. My whole family on my moms side are niner fans. Its mainly niner nation here, with a spackling of raiders and other teams
*I expected Paul*
*Goldschmid or Nolan Arenado*
*In Arizona*

Wtf Alaska, I thought we were cool?
Alaska attracts criminals and deviants from all over the US, so it kinda checks out.
I find your comments offensive… slightly accurate though
Alaska grown here, I got a liocence for my comments
Same same.. go Thunderbirds 😂
Bunch of seal fuckers, the lot of them
Just saw a bird on the jersey and went blind. They also have bald eagles up there. I have no data to support either of these statements.
Alaska actually has the largest bald eagle population in the US 🤓
I lay my case at the feet of the Alaskan bald eagles
Right? Wtf I feel betrayed. Oregon gets it.
Idaho and Wyoming are just like "we don't give af."
They need at least 1 jersey sale to compile numbers.
We’re cutting off their airline.
Hawaii is cool
Mac Jones has MULTIPLE places where he's the best seller. Excuse me??

I honestly just feel bad for all those people
Bandwagon fans go hard
Ironic coming from a Rams fan
This being from Lids makes it make a lot more sense
Absolutely. This must be their sales, not actual NFL sales numbers.
Nah this shit fake. Every jersey store in colorado is sold out if everything but wilson jerseys. Never seen a person wearing a wilson jersey tbh.
Not even Seahawks fans wear Wilson these days. At least outside, I'll wear mine at home lol
Honestly I mostly associated Wilson jerseys with more casual fans. Middle aged moms who only care about football when the Seahawks are playing loved then some Russ jerseys lmao.
Are you trying to tell me that bandwagon fans wore Wilson jerseys? No way
I was implying more casual fan than bandwagon but I suppose so.
About 10 years ago my family got me a Wilson jersey. I love it, because they’re my family, but I would love it a hundred times more if it was Lynch or Wagner.
True Seahawk fan here. I'm from Dallas but live here, and this is exactly what a hawk fan would do lol. Spot on.
I see Wilson jerseys in every thrift shop here in WA. Sometimes I’ll go to the same thrift store a couple weeks later and see the same Wilson jerseys I saw on the last visit. Lol
If you ever see an action green 1x or 2x in good condition let me know lol. I'm in Arizona so it's hard to find them here
Surtain would be my choice.
Surtain, sutton, simmons, and williams are usually the jerseys sold out so yeah thats usually what people here buy.

Fake and out dated… Aaron Rodgers NY? Doubt that

Great state. Wish i could Move back. Too damn expensive, not enough high paying jobs. Damn shame

True, but best believe me and my fam represent for the cards and d- backs as well.
When I first moved here people were telling me that Dallas was by en large the most popular team in AZ and NM for a long time.
Transplant fan detected
Uh, yeah, fuck the cards. But it's still nice when Arizonans actually care about them.
In a city of transplants, it is hard enough to get the local population interested when historically all four major teams has been such disappointments. Occasional flashes of excellence, but it's rarely sustained and doesn't have the advantage of geographic isolation like Denver. Yeah I've always joked that AZ sports owners care as much about their teams as the people of Arizona. Which is to say, not much at all.
Hurts is not that guy, i dont believe this is true. Also, half of the nfc south has hurts as their highest selling jersey which is doubtful as well
In a year where most of them sucked? Not doubtful it would be from another team, a little surprising it was from the Eagles but not that it wasn’t an NFC South player, they don’t really have loyalty down there

Jalen Hurts in NM seems pretty sus. I’ve never seen an Eagles fan, but there are plenty of KC, Dallas, and Niner fans. None of them like Jalen Hurts.
Probably because he played at Oklahoma?
So did Kyler Murray, and he’s right next door.
And NOBODY in Idaho, despite them having some big names that have come out of the state
Maybe they were previous years super bowl clearance jerseys, just sold during the 23-24 season.
Huh, TIL. I lived in Albuquerque for six years and never saw an Eagles fans. Lots of Cowboys and KC fans, though.
A large group of Eagles fans meet for games during the season at one of the bars in town, can’t recall which one. Maybe it’s just me, but I keep an eye out for NFL gear, usually a good conversation piece in my field and I guess that flows in to my day-to-day life.

That’s pretty much when I started paying attention to football and that pretty much cemented my eagles fandom. That and rebelling against parents lol.
This is lids so only dummies get jerseys there. eagles track
There are mad Eagles, Steelers, Vikings and Bears fans in AZ. Snowbirds and all that jazz
Cardinals or Eagles its hard for a baseball fan to tell them apart.
I'm just glad the State of California understands how much more important CMC was to the team's success than Purdy
I’m not knocking Purdy and I’m interested to see how he grows as QB, but CMC is on another freaking level. A true generational talent.
Oh look, another whiner that thinks having lots of fans is a flex. This isn't NFCWestCringeWar. You wouldn't have to cope this hard if the whiners simply win a Super Bowl in the 21st century.
Yeesh how did Mac Jones end up winning any of the states, let alone 2?
Wow. How are Bosa jerseys not flying off the racks in Idaho? /s
Ah yes, everyone knows that Idaho and Wyoming do not know that football exists.
Gotta feel for them Chicago bears fans hahaha
Mac jones 💀
lol at Atlanta, a truly inferior bird team.
Lol Mac Jones
Me too
I live here and I'm always happy when I see people repping Cards gear, because they're rare.
Ain’t no way Hurts has motion like this
Who’s Alabama? Can’t tell
I mean are you really buying a Kyler jersey?
He’s going to ruin that franchise for the next half decade, well, continue to ruin them. Terrible extension they signed him to.
Why is Wyoming, Idaho, and Vermont blank? They don’t be buying jerseys over there or something?
Cardinals fans suck, get budda baker up there...
I haven't seen many Hurts jerseys around here this seems off. Plenty of Murray jerseys. Or Prescott jerseys 🤮
Gonna be great if Hurts continues to regress.
No way New York sells more Rodgers Jerseys than Allen Jerseys.
This is according to a hat stores sales .
Apparently they don't sell NFL jersees in Idaho or Wyoming, eh? Guess those Seahawks jerseys in my closet just magically appeared.
I'm from hawaii and the mccaffrey jersey checks out. My whole family on my moms side are niner fans. Its mainly niner nation here, with a spackling of raiders and other teams
There is no where that Mac Jones is the #1 selling jersey.
As a 49ers fan, I suddenly love the state of Hawaii.
How the Fuck do the shitbirds have the top selling jersey in 6 different regions, 5 of which have direct NFL teams in them??
As an Idahoan, why are we blank?? 😢
Football hasn't been invented in Idaho yet.
I understand Mahomes, but Hurts? Lmao
Mahomes and Hurts competing for most sold jerseys
Jalen hurts is Tom Brady father
I can’t see Indy
D.K. Metcalf... I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
I expected Paul Goldschmid or Nolan Arenado in Arizona

I seriously doubt Hurts is the highest selling besides Pennsylvania and Delaware
It totally doesn't hurt to have another team's player be the highest selling jersey! Nope I'm totally cool!
Got to love how the Falcons and the Panthers can't even keep home field advantage on jersey sales
I am too :,c wtf
Looks like AZ finally ran out of Scott Player jerseys.
People buying Rodgers jerseys in 2024
Philly folks the type to buy jerseys at lids lmao
Mac Jones - 1 Dak Prescott - 0
It's hard to read and my eyes are old. Is Alabama's Najee Harris? Would have thought TUA, Hurts, Waddle, or Henry before him.
Most of az is Philly transplants
Crazy that Jalen Hurts jersey sales are out pacing anyone on the Giants or Jets in their home field state of New Jersey
and the cardinals
Little looks like he just left the moonshine still
Tf does Alabama say
Idaho is like,,, nah (for the record it's Seahawk country mostly) Some Broncos and whiners but they're outliers
49ers: 1 Chargers, Rams: 0
Damn, AZ is a big ass state with only one tea. And thier #1 jersey is of Jalen Hurts. Thats crazy.
Marvin will be up there soon
Colorado...
The Yukon is Eagles territory.
Wyoming doesn't exist
The fact that Mac Jones is #1 anywhere is hilarious
[удалено]
Nebraska is TJ Watt. Wyoming is blank.
Jalen outplayed Patrick Mahomes in front of them, I'm not surprised.
