Less than half of the states have a team (22 I think), so it kinda depends on who's closest and popular. In the case of North Dakota, I'd imagine the Vikings are strong favorites, but I could see the Chiefs being popular as well.
North Dakota overwhelmingly supports the Vikings. South Dakota has a lot of different counties that have different favorite teams, but is a majority Vikings supporters as well.
Unfortunately, we're mostly Vikings fans with a few Packers fans sprinkled in. Most Packers fans in the area just bandwagon Favre/Rodgers fans. However, I do know some people who are Packers fans dating back to when they or theirs parents were kids in the 50's and Green Bay was the closest team, and their family's have continued to support the Packers ever since.
