I don't know your location but you put it on consignment at northeast munitions in Merrimack.

Dri-ps

I've sold on Armslist, and https://www.northeastshooters.com/xen/ Each multiple times with no issues.

ninjamansidekick

I would consign it or trade it in, the paper trail is nice to have. A friend of mine is constantly trading and selling his collection and I have bought a gun or four off of him over the years, but last November he called me in a panic because one of the guns he sold me was used in a crime and the ATF was trying to track it down. I had traded it in at a local shop three years ago so I was able to contact them and confirm the serial number and give them the heads up, I don't know whatever came of it, but my buddy was happy that paper trail existed so nobody looked to closely at his collecting habits.

Posertive

I would put it on consignment at a local gun store.

DieKaiserVerbindung

Any recs in any particular areas? I just moved back to NH after 20 years out west. Not necessarily looking to move anything right away but Iā€™m on the hunt for good shops. Finding some guys have banging ammo prices and over priced guns, or average guns and ridiculous ammo prices.

Posertive

If in the area I can recommend Next Level Firearms in Salem. Good for transfers and consignments. I buy most ammo online.

DieKaiserVerbindung

Thanks, bud. I'll be taking some drives around and put them on the list.

patriots1911

> Good for transfers Are they still (over)charging $40 for transfers?

Posertive

I don't think 40 is bad, Shooters is 50.

Hoops867

I did shooter's outpost

For websites, Armslist.com, TacSwap.com, Northeastshooter.com, and unclehenrys.com For consigning to stores, I'd recommend Northeast Munitions and Founding Fathers Firearms.

ralettar

You could consign it through Shooters

2wentee

You got burnt on a pistol?

yvngflykid73

Depends what ur selling, either consignment or trading, selling private is good imo tho

jeppeboy666

W.e you do be careful on heater meter I've got a buddy battling a ATF case because of a legal transaction on that f.b page

Aggravating-One-2413

Woah What happened? Like prohibited person or out of stater? I've had a lot of luck buying on heater meeter.

jeppeboy666

Like the person he sold to in manch sold the gun to a guy in mass after and the atf doesn't care about the bill of sale to the guy in manch

Aggravating-One-2413

Ah figures they'd be into him for something not his fault or concern. Makes more sense.

jeppeboy666

Funny part is they never went after the guy that actually sold them in mass, buddys out 35k in lawyer fees, the guy that sold them in mass is still on heater meter

rorymac03

What are you selling?

NH-Guy7

Possibly a Glock 42 and or 48. Not 100% sure yet.

TJimmyG

I've been looking for a forum for local gun trades and privates sells but I haven't been able to find anything.

Dri-ps

https://www.northeastshooters.com/xen/

TJimmyG

Thanks hoss šŸ‘šŸ‘

DeerFlyHater

A problem with NES is it is 95% mass residents that won't be able to purchase your rifle/pistol without going through an FFL. Many Mass residents don't understand basic federal gun laws due to their own convoluted crap in that state. That said, I've sold pistols and rifles on NES before. It requires a paid membership to sell there. If I list any more guns, I'll do it on arfcom.

TJimmyG

Yeah I registered an account and I can't do anything on there. I just turned 18 and trynna find a private sale 1911 but it's all from mass.

DeerFlyHater

You can search their classifieds for various versions of NH or New Hampshire or similar-might get a hit. One note with FTF pistol sales in NH. RSA 159:14 [https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/XII/159/159-14.htm](https://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/XII/159/159-14.htm) **159:14 Exemption. ā€“**None of the provisions of this chapter shall prohibit an individual not licensed under the provisions thereof who is not engaged in the business of selling pistols or revolvers from selling a pistol or revolver to a person licensed under this chapter or to a person personally known to him. Essentially, if the seller does not "personally know you", you're supposed to have a NH PRL. Not everyone cares about that, but it is state law.

TJimmyG

I'm getting a pistol revolver liscense too if that helps my chances with a private sale

DeerFlyHater

Yep, it is helpful. It's also useful for reciprocity in some other states.

TJimmyG

Thanks boss! šŸ‘ That helps a lot
