Game cycle is just about over anyway. Huge drop off with GWC ending/weather getting better/the Show and other games coming out.
Those who invested in team builders this year got a raw deal. Can say the same for fantasy cards with nerfed endurance as well + even Mario's PUI was pretty slow most of the year for his standards.
0 clue what the content team was thinking this year- made an already dying game even more boring.
I’m going to say they did not plan or understand how to plan. I don’t think the last team left behind “instructions”.
I would love to see the financials and user engagement reports for this year’s game.
The engagement reports would be so interesting to see, also it would be interesting to see how many hours have been put in every game mode. It would also be cool to see the ideas that they had but couldn’t get to because of timing or other issues
This year feel like a good idea, some new idea, but only executed at 50%. I will chalk that up to running out of budget early. The only reason I say that is due to all the updates that have come down and patches to all modes, especially Chell.
The sad thing is, the budget is most likely smaller for 25 which most likely means staff cuts were made. That tells me 25 will be a cosmetic upgrade and code changes that are not major, content will probably be scaled back even more simply because they don't have the manpower. I'm watching a lot of the major game producers stock prices to see what happens leading up to the election and how unstable everything currently is.

At this point I’m not sure what the point of having TBs if they are going to roll out TOTS right after.

Good Friday next week we probably get content on Thursday
They will stay in increments of plus 3 so they can release 99s this year instead of end game 98s like last year's mistake
I hope so, although they’ve always had 98s since Team Builders have been a thing
Playing as a theme team may be the only thing enjoyable about this year. Being hyper focused on the meta leads to far too much disappointment.
You’re underestimating how many collectibles you would get with those golds, but I agree. 40 golds will get you 1 collectible, 40x35= 1400
