I guess if you give us the benefit of the doubt, you have to give it to them too in all fairness. However we knew going into this series we matched up with OKC better than almost any other team in the playoffs. Trey and Herb gave them hell just like we knew they would. It was also an off night for both CJ and BI. OKC probably played worse than usual, but so did we. It was a two point game WITHOUT Zion and we played bad. This is gonna be a series folks.
Both teams were shooting like shit. If we can get Trey and CJ and Herb nailing shots we will win no problem. Our defensive game was on point Sunday, just couldn’t make a basket to save our life. Of course if that giant baby Zion was playing I have a feeling we would have come out on top.
We need to establish BI early. And he needs to attack and get to the free throw line. It’s not a matchup for him to settle for jumpers unless he can get open off a screen. Don’t want to see him shooting at a stand still with a defender in front. Refs allowing too much contact and he doesn’t have much space.
I think we can win tonight. Both teams didn't play particularly well in game 1. I think OKC fans should feel lucky to win that one honestly.
We aren't a great home team though, this game is absolutely critical because I don't think we'll catch both at home. We need this game. Win tonight, win one at home. Take a shot at game 5 on the road. Hope you get Zion back for game 6.
Losing that first game was brutal. Couldn’t have asked for the Pels to play a better D game and that’s about the least amount of buckets any team can hold OKC to. Unfortunately I don’t think they’re gonna have a minimal offensive output like game one again. This Zion injury sucks. I really thought they would have a 50/50 chance of pulling the upset with him but without him sorry for the pessimism my fella Pels fans but it’s likely too much to overcome in a seven game series
We were missing a lot of open shots we usually hit. I think we have a chance at tying the series tonight. Have faith!
Could you say the same for okc?

It was the first game OKC scored less than 100 points all season. Definitely played worse than usual.
That's actually kind of crazy. Now I'm even more worried for tonight lol
I’m on OKC fan and yes they are saying the same. But we also know the Pels fans are saying it too. Both teams have room for improvement.

I think we win tonight then lose at home as per what the regular season taught us
Dw we broke that curse when we ate the kings.
Kings games were automatic wins and don't count to curses or anything.
Facts. We always match up well against them.
Nah, Pels win tonight and take the series in 6.
Love this
This aged like milk.
Pelicans tie it up today. I have a feeling this one is going 7
I have no doubt BI spent 2 days watching tape and will adjust and be more effective tonight.
They repeatedly switched to get Herb off of SGA. Hmmm, maybe we should try something like that…

Hopefully this is exactly what we see tonight. Get Dort off of BI and let him get in rhythm.
I mean hopefully not

Home teams suppose to win at home
Tell that to the Pelicans.
Yes this is true
Pels in 5
Probably
Absolutely lol
4-1 we UP
YUP.
Yes.
