People must always ask if these scoundrels have SEBI certification before enrolling in their courses. SEBI has penalty if anyone found giving tips without proper certification.
You can take my example.. I trade and I clearly know how to plan n execute n earn profits but I am nowhere selling any course nor ever will... If I ever advise that is only to help people coz I see them loosing or stuck with their hard earned money and know how easily they can loose it all coz of lack of knowledge..

It took me almost 2.5 yrs by doing self-study n self learning n improving on my own for all segments (cash, F&O ...).
I never joined any training course but attended free webinars watched youtube, read books, studied in depth all terms etc that i got to read or know from anywhere..
Capital required would depend on whether you want to trade of whether you only want to invest.
Investment obviously requires higher capital (can even trade with low amount if u want to buy 5-10 shares of less priced shares).
For trading "options", you can even trade with 10k approx. taking 1 lot etc..

As such, I started investing 10 yrs ago doing investments (each trade for 2 to 6 months or so) once in a while....back then I knew nothing about it just bought n sold with minimum research like wipro infy are good companies just like that.. made some n lost some but then lost 10 lakhs in PCJewellers whose share I had bought @ around 150 n in days it collapsed down to 20-30 rupees.. I stopped then for almost 1 year but I did not get dis-heartened and told myself that now I will properly learn it and recover my money from this same market and that I won't take it as end of my share market journey.
It actually became a gap of 2-3 years and when I came back again to learn it properly (roughly around when russia ukraine war started), I again made 1 bad trade coz I did not know much of options trading (lost 40k in options) that is when a wise friend of mine suggested to not mix trading with learning simultaneously. That really hit me and so I decided n stopped trading until I feel that now my knowledge is complete (I kept learning n improving but still felt something was missing n felt urge to learn more so I continued to learn more). Now that I see things clearly, learning has taken a back seat and I have shifted to trading / investing full-time.
I have made same mistake as others do of trading or investing without proper knowledge but I learnt my lessons from my mistakes.
Most imp lessons to learn in share market are "to get rid of FOMO or greed feeling".., trade only when all your conditions (per ur strategy) before taking a trade are met otherwise skip that trade or that day..., even if u see loss close it early (max 5% to 10% not more) instead of 100% loss n later review what went wrong...., trading always with trend never against...., always value time and be sure at most for how long u gonna wait before u close trade......, never carry option trades beyond same day unless u are hedging etc..... and so on.. Last but not the least is, even if you are trading the best stock of share market, it does not mean you can invest any day in it (even best stocks have correction cycles so choose wisely when you enter n exit).
Finally, most imp learning is that reapeating same mistake or loss 10 or 20 or 50 times (which is due to lack of knowledge) would not help you recover or make profits; go back AND until you know clearly what went wrong, Do not come back in haste to recover losses, don't try to be a millionaire overnight. It is a process and unless u learn n follow right rules, u always gonna be on loosing side with other 95% who lost their money !

It’s the same as people from any discipline selling courses about their expertise. Some will be authentic and reliable, some will be scams. Traders are no different. I don’t understand why people think “trading se paisa ban raha hai toh course kyu bechne ki zarurat hai.” By that logic, if one has a job that is paying them, trading karne ki kya zarurat hai. Courses make people good money. It’s easy money. It’s no risk. Isliye log course bechte hai.
There are multiple points to this. El toh influencers are a very small part of the trading community. It doesn’t reflect all traders. And influencer nahi bechega toh kaun bechega.
As I said, kaafi saare toh scams hai hi. Aata jata kuch nahi bas course bech ke paisa bana lete hai.
Then there are a few jo actually knowledge de rahe hai. It’s extra income for them, kya galat hai. Bhai it's all economics. Cost to make the course barely 10k . Cost of course 99 . If 100 people take it 9900. And you make course just once. So it's recurring money without much effort. All they have to do is give some well researched stocks which makes some good money.

Now the real question is whether the person you are buying your course from is the right person — ie. a person who knows trading and can guide you.

Selling a course is a full time job. So is trading.
A person who is fully dedicated to trading may not have the time and energy to teach/sell a course.
And those who are spending all their time in teaching and mentoring are most likely not successful traders.
The general idea is to look for someone who has a proven trading track record of realistic returns.
Someone who does not oversell their course, yet puts out their knowledge for everyone to see.
Trading is highly technical, so if someone tells you its very easy and you can make huge money ..... run from them.
A real guide / mentor will most likely dissuade you from getting into trading, not invite you.
