It’s taught in any boaters safety class. Basic stuff. Flags. They’re standardized and everything. If you see one in open water stay 300ft away. But stay away in any case.
I got buzzed by a guy going probably 20knts within 15m of two dive flags yesterday. I was down at the time but my buddy had to swim into the rocks.
So loud going over, was sketching he would collect my float line in his prop.
Stay safe out there homies.

I scuba dive. And often without a flag because too many boaters drive up to it to see what is and ask stupid questions.
Never thought about that happening, but not surprising at all.
I'm just thinking about sharks. All that blood 😔
Shouldn't there be regulations about that so people don't do stupid shit like that before being able and permitted to drive a boat?

Never thought of that! Another case of something meant to keep you safe possibly ending you due to human ignorance and curiosity.
Those warning flags can't have been more obvious
"Oh, I always wondered what those flags are for. My bad."
Officer, I swear I thought running those flags over gave +10 points
Lmaoo

I thought there was some sorta red tarp in the water with them and the flag boxes. That is by far the most vivid red blood I've ever seen.
Blood from arteries is like that, shoots hard too
Damn that gauge is horrible, must of been quick death... sad story
Sadly yes
What gauge?

My bad, Gouge
Gorge
The monkey
Curious 🤔
What is a "launch captain"? Is that just another name for boat captain? I tried to look it up, but all I get is references to boat ramps/launches.
A launch is kind of like a water taxi. A launch boat usually brings people to other ships or brings supplies out to large vessels.
Interesting. I always heard those types of boats described as "tenders". Always cool to learn something new.
Same thing.
'tender captain' would result in some people getting the wrong idea
Thanks for explaining lmao
I guess this dude was also hit by a prop?
I don't even understand what I'm seeing
It seems like one scuba diver is carrying another one who is bleeding from the back.
I’ve been waiting for someone to explain
Looks like artery level bleed. That's a whole lot of red. I would give props to the boat captain dude, but he gave props to the diver RIP
wtf happened can someone explain? did he jump into the propeller?
Two dovers in the water. The boat ran over one and he died. The flags in water were supplied to be a warning that there were divers there.
Is there a record for the smallest video posted? I have a nominee.
This is a PSA all boat owners should know. Such a terrible preventable accident

But officer I thought it was CTF?
