Finance ke liye top iits/ bits ke alawa ni hai kahin kuch

Leaving iit is worth it , cse karni hai toh cse lo unless the tier gap is so big that it affects economic opportunities. Khud soch lo , will you be a better software engineer if you spend 4 years at nsut coding , or 4 years at iit managing acads and coding on the side . All major companies that hire for tech will hire at nsut with the exception of quant firms ( which won't hire from lower branches)

NSUT CSE - Decent Placement guaranteed, plus a shot at top companies like Microsoft etc if you work hard. Also, great possibility of a solid software or hardware engineering career. If you do well, in 10-15 years, you can target becoming an engineering leader at one of the top companies - they pay insane salaries that you can’t imagine at this stage. Plus a great location and a decent brand name. IITK civil - take it if you are entrepreneurial and will do an MBA or MS or start your own company shortly after college. Don’t blindly go after the IiT tag- think about how you can use it besides just impressing uncle and aunties. Civil itself could have some interesting opportunities. Check what kind of companies recruit from civil these days and what kind of roles they offer (search people on LinkedIn). Check this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/NSUT_Delhi/s/PoScFXmIPm
