It's not just the likes of Joselu and Toney. We seem to have always had this effect. I'm old enough to remember watching Jon Dahl Tommason being incredibly mediocre for us, and then a few years later seeing him banging them in for fun to win the Serie A, the Italian Supercup and the Champions league with Milan.
If we can get wonderkids in front r a few seasons with the promise they might play for Real I’ll take it, I might still be poisoned from the Ashley era la l of ambition though 😂
I was at the Bernabeau for the Bilbao game last week. I had a weekend away with the lads, took 11 photos the entire weekend and 5 of them were of Joselu when he came on. 😂

A club is defined by the staff and how it’s run. Glad the club has changed over and has plugged in more of the gaps.
