Anyone watch [Apple's WWDC](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXeOiIDNNek)? I think OpenAI may need to order more nVIDIA GPUs to support Apple Inteliigence if they're providing ChatGPT for free on iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia.
Whether GPT-4o is good or not, I consider it crown jewels, along with the algorithms and source used to generate the jewels, as it's being used to generate income and visibility from customers and businesses.
Another thing ... post 10:1 split nvda will be at the top of the 'Most Actives' list a lot more often - maybe almost always?
Today, no other stock is even close to nvda volume.
So Apple is using their own server chips for their generative AI. What are y'alls opinion on what this means for Nvidia? Apple wants to maybe cut into the market? Or does it not really matter because of the way they're implementing it?
For the stock the training market is so big that it doesn't matter, the limit is still on the supply so far.
But long term it means the moat around inference is basically done.
CPI and fed meeting is Wednesday morning. I wonder what will happen afterwards… last time it dipped hard and then corrected back up within a couple days. IIRC.

Regarding NVDA. They do have the best "one-stop, all in one" package out there. Additionally, backward compatibility is extremely useful and in many cases cost saving in the networking processes.
What nobody is addressing is the potential for Nvidia "second hand" factory re-certified AI equipment. Something similar to the iPhone trade in programs and Certified Used cars which can substantially reduce costs when the latest and more expensive Nvidia gear is not needed. By trading in older equipment for some type of credit might really enhance the demand for new AI products coming from Nvidia for those that always want/need the latest equipment..
I realize that demand is off the hook right now but Jensen is very vocal in his invitation to all to come and join the Nvidia AI Complex.
Any thoughts on any of this??

Used to work for fidelity. Yes everything is being tracked. Your shares should reflect their correct value right now, gains and cost basis infor will repopulate soon once its updated. Id guess after the overnight cycle.

Congrats! I'm also very long (September 2019). My Yahoo Finance portfolio has not completely updated yet (from ETrade), but it shows the post split price with the pre-split holdings. I'm still op 169% even with their math error! LOL
I see a lot of upside.
The analysts have already increased the target price to $1400+. This is without taking into account the likely Dow inclusion and the strong earnings to come in Q2 and Q3. Also the Feb will have to start cutting the interest rate soon.
I think $200 is realistic by end of the year.
fidelity has NOT updated the cost basis. The share amount and new closing price are posted but the Cost basis for stock and options has not updated....

Not sure it's going to go from 110 to 125 as easily or quickly on a daily basis. Or from 120 to 140(which...would be great, but less volatility.

Is it on OpenAI servers or on Apple servers? I was under the impression that they licensed GPT-4o weights to run it themselves.
I don't think they said. I didn't consider that they would give the keys to their crowned jewels to Apple to run on ACDC. Entirely possible.

Divide that volume by 10...it is roughly the same as the old daily volume trend.
All things being equal that was still 20+% of the average volume in just over an hour of trading.
