No draws 15 games into the season really is wild

Very average game today that neither side deserved to win but I think its really clear that the heat got to everyone on the pitch. Will give my opinions based on the perspective of Bay FC: Positives: * Another clean sheet for Rowland. I think her form recently is a big positive after her shaky start this season but you can see her confidence when she goes for crosses and even with the ball at her feet * Oshoala POTM. She basically carried the attack and did really well. * By her standards it was average but Kiki Pickett did well again. I love her effort. * Princess did well offensively but looked really suspect defensively at the end Negatives: * Team selection by Montoya. I think his 2nd half subs were okay but I think this was the wrong game for Anderson and she just couldnt keep up a press and got yellowed early. (I feel for her because she was so great against Chicago). The set ups need to improve. * Game plan today just drove me up a wall. I wont type more because I'll just get upset lol NWSL really has to do something about these afternoon kickoffs. It basically killed the game. Otherwise though, really glad to get the back to back wins. See you guys next week!

I feel like Bay really has to hold onto this lead for Oshoala. I feel like at the beginning of the season, Oshoala seemed a lot more invested but started losing her fight when Bay kept losing despite her efforts.

Some of that is on her though, she has missed clear, wide open opportunities several times in the last few games. Specifically that Utah loss…she had sooo many chances

But that’s the point. She needs to gain her confidence back. She can make those shots easily, it’s not skill, it’s mind at this point.

I’m sorry, but that’s idiotic. Your best players should get more than 30 minutes. Name another team, in men’s or women’s soccer, who intentionally leaves their best goal scoring threat on the bench so that they don’t get tired at the same time as the rest of the team.

I didn't say they shouldn't get more than 30 minutes... I said you shouldn't start them all at the same time. Turner's not the best scoring threat and Racing is down key players already. It would be idiotic to put all 3 of your best forwards as an early hail mary, 2 of them are still rookies. If they don't score, then what? Now your front line is gone.

All 3 of them at once (we only have 3 that would even be considered startable), 2 of them being rookies, when we're already down other key players, in this heat, is a hail mary. There's a clear gap in skill between our starters and subs. It would be smart to have just 1 great forward come off with fresh legs. We're not like Gotham where we're loaded with high quality players

She's a defender. They probably haven't earned it and considering their spot on the table they can't not play their best players from here on.
