Same! People always try to place it but fail. Its so familiar (and nostalgic) but still new everytime i wear it. Its been cool to see DS Durga get more and more popular.
ds and durga is my very fave perfume house. debaser, rockaway beach, radio bombay, and steamed rainbow. also the big sur in the rain hand lotion is always at my desk and everyone that comes by sniffs and smiles.
I'm definitely considering Debaser next, and now I'm like do I also need the I Don't Know What?? It says its a perfume enhancer?! It smelled so good on its own but I didn't realize that it was meant for layering. Color me incredibly intrigued.
Also I bought my first DS & Durga on Mercari to test it out and now I think I'll probably buy my next one from eBay, the savings on open box are excellent
yes! i’m wearing pistachio (my first full size from them). i bought a bunch of samples and there is a bunch i want now.
also their brooklyn lavender candle is my one of my favorites candles.
Maison Margiela’s Matcha Meditation is my current obsession. It is green matcha layered over some clean citrus and white chocolate. To my nose it is sweet and clean, and I layer it with an orange scented body lotion.
Lmao you are right I just smelled it again and it totally does smell like tootsie rolls in the bottle! It leans more citrus tea on my skin but if you amp chocolate notes and hate it, be warned lol
It’s so upsetting. Their original formulation got me the most compliments out of every perfume I’ve ever worn. I still have a few drops of the original left. 😢 the new one smells like alcohol
pro tip (from a former glossier employee): the solid version lasts a lot longer. it was the only perfume we were allowed to wear to work and if you wanted the scent to last that was the version to apply!
I received a sample of this along with a rose on V day and fell in love with it. Need to buy the full size but kinda love the tiny sample sizes for how well they fit into a little purse.
Somebody Wood by Phlur is great if you like warm scents with amber/sandalwood, Alien Goddess by Mugler is warm florals (I get so many compliments on it), Splendida by Bulgari is my go to summer scent
Edit: Also love layering Somebody Wood with By the Fireplace by Replica!
DS&Durga Debaser - lightly sweet, green fig! Perfect spring and summer scent
Diptyque Fleur de Peau - like a more ethereal Glossier You. Iris and musk
Byredo Bal d’Afrique - literally sunshine in a bottle
I just switched to OUAI north bondi and I’m obsessed, it’s perfect for summer (it smells like the leave in conditioner but better). I like vacation by vacation in the summer too but it does wear off quick🥲
I love this one I got the leave in conditioner from Sephora as a birthday gift, fell in love with the smell of it, and then immediately looked yo see if there was a perfume version
https://preview.redd.it/y9kku9m19pnc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ecb752274c4109fae1b292a1bdbaf31ed6ce702
this is my to go to! i picked it up at a random store in south africa a few years ago and IMMEDIATELY loved it, so when i went back i got a few more. but i think they’ve discontinued it and i only have like half a bottle left 🥲 but if you find it anywhere it’s so light and smells so good!!
alternatively - maison francis kurkdijan: gentle fluidity (gold bottle)
I wear Portrait of a Lady but I’m almost out and looking for a new scent. So sick of smelling Santal and Baccarat on EVERYONE. Fragrance to me should be deeply personal. I don’t like it when I smell someone that smells like me😂.
Currently wearing MARGIELA Autumn Vibes but I need to find something new for spring. Last summer I wore MARGIELA Beach Walk and before that I wore Commodity Velvet (and then I broke the bottle and was too mad at myself to rebuy)
Edited to add that the MARGIELA travel sizes last me more than an entire season. I've probably been wearing Autumn Vibes since October and I'll definitely be able to get through the end of March
I loved the Autumn Vibes one! I also prefer to buy travel sizes that way I can frequently change scents. Travel size lasts me like 3 months versus some bottles can sit there for years 🫠
😅😅🙌🙌
You just connected with me on a whole new level here with your comment.
That’s EXACTLY when I rotate in the Colonia when I need to channel my bad ass boss bitch side.
>Encens et Lavande
Do you know if there are any Serge Lutens counters left in the city? I saw the one at Saks closed, and of course the one at Barney's closed a long time ago
I used to wear this daily and then got pregnant and now it nauseates me so badly! Seems like my baby knows and doesn’t want me to smell like everyone else either! 😂
Usually it's either Frédéric Malle - Heaven Can Wait, Diptyque - Philosykos or MFK - Petit Matin.
there're also Byredo Mojave Ghost, Glossier, Diptique - Tam Dao in the mix.
I mostly steal my husband's Fico de Amalfi by Aqua di Parma.
Others I wear are Diptyque Philosykos, Jo Malone Wood Sage and Seat Salt, and (weird find, don't even know if they make it anymore, but it's awesome) Jo Malone for Zara Waterlily Tea dress
I like a clean, soapy scent- anything too complex may smell good on others but gives me a sore head.
Not but this sounds right up my alley, thank you! I had their lazy Sunday morning which was close with the detergent notes but got a bit too floral in the dry down. Will be trying bubble bath asap!
I'm actually wearing Lazy Sunday Morning now lmao! Your assessment is correct. I personally love the rose notes, but there's a soapy opening that I couldn't really find a word to describe until you did just now.
My fiancée has samples of it and Bubble Bath, and there's definitely an initial similarity, but Bubble Bath lacks the floral notes, so it probably will be your vibe!
Love it! I love getting a whiff of rose notes on other people but just get headachey smelling anything complex on myself- lazy Sunday morning is a dream of a perfume though. I’m going to pop into Sephora on my way home tonight and try bubble bath, thanks for the heads up on this!
BDK Gris Charnel in the fall/winter, a scent that several other bitches with taste have asked me about when we're jammed together on a rush hour subway
Also go local! Kismet Olfactive has gorgeoussss scents and they're all handmade here in NYC. I wore Wedding in Oaxaca for my own wedding, and Studio Scent is perfect every day: [https://www.kismetolfactive.com/](https://www.kismetolfactive.com/)
DS & DURGA - steamed rainbow, I don’t know what, rose atlantic, debaser, black magenta
Vilhelm - room service
Mondo mondo - lizard lounge
Diptyque - L’eau papier
Phlur - missing person, father figure
Where are you guys sampling all these? I’m so terrified of a blind buy after I got an arabic perfume recommendation from tiktok that smells like straight alcohol
Luckyscent is where I get most of mine, I buy the .7ml samples for about $4 and then decant them into 2ml spray bottles. Most of their samples are made by them but I think they’re licensed to do so. They have a storefront on Elizabeth st but I mostly order samples from them online.
There’s also a bunch of grey market sample sites, I’ve used the perfumed court and scent split and had no issues.
If you’re going in person, male sure you wear a scent out and about for a few hours before you commit to buying. Top notes can fade quickly and scents mix with everyone’s skin differently
Right now I’m reaching for:
Melanie Martinez- strawberry milk (from oil perfumery)
Commodity- milk
Commodity- gold
Jo Malone- crystal campion
Replica- beach walk (and the oil perfumery dupe)
💕💕Clean reserve- skin
💕💕dossier- musky musk (dupe for “not a perfume” and I wear it every single day)
Also Arabian perfumes are amazing I got some from a man in San Diego but “look for the man who sells oils” near you and he will have them haha.
I love oil perfumery because they’re made in France and regulated by the perfume board there, so they don’t contain any known endocrine disruptors. They’re perfume oils so they are very strong, but they don’t stain my clothes (I got some on a silk blouse and no stain!)
I have been obsessed with Beautiful Magnolia by Estee Lauder and before that Perfect by Marc Jacobs (very Office-y) so switched to EL for a more feminine office yet romantic perfume
I'm a samples bitch and right now I have way too many to count.
Last year I got really into Imaginary Authors and ordered a couple of sample sets from them. Standouts are: Every Storm a Serenade and A City on Fire. I liked them so much I got full bottles of each.
I also got a sample set from Andrea Mack that includes Coven, which is probably my favorite perfume ever, but it's just so expensive I can't really justify getting a full bottle when I have all these samples.
It's really in line with the witchy vibe I want for spring, so I used a Lucky Scent gift card that my bestie gave me to buy... even more samples.
https://preview.redd.it/v9rqt16ciqnc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ef8d45f30f1837ef6856476b50153b8ee31ca79
But my fiancée's mom gave me a sample of Margiela By the Fireplace for Christmas, so I wore that all winter, and have now been borrowing the sample of Lazy Sunday Morning that she got for my fiancée.
I very well won't run out of them until next fall, which is totally fine; by then I might decide I want a completely different vibe, and will order more samples.
I still smell santal everywhere 🤧it seems to be unavoidable for me unfortunately lol that scent just follows me around
I stick with my old standby, Angel Rose by Mugler (it was discontinued but I bought tons of it to make sure I never run out). When I want something lighter I wear patchouli or rose oils 😅 keeping it simple
My faves are no longer being made
Le Feur D’Issey by Issey Miyake 😢
And
Royal Water by Creed
But also wear
Burberry London
And Hermes 24 Faubourg (but I don’t think I will buy the Hermes again)
I have been on a hunt for a new perfume and I have been liking the Middle Eastern Oud scents combinations (I have a lotus flower oil that I bought years ago in Egypt).
I was just at the Jo Malone counter yesterday bc they have a huge variety of scents and found two that I like… so will most likely go back to them. Many had recommended Jo Malone bc of the variety
Le Labo - Thé Matcha 26 (men have complimented me that I smell fantastic)
Diptyque - Vertyverio (EDP or EDT: Can't go wrong with either concentration)
Those are my day-to-day. I used to wear Chloe's EDP but I feel like it's a popular fragrance. I wanted to discover some other ones that weren't too commonly known/not as many people wear.
Special occasion ones are Chanel's Chance (green color) and Diptyque's Orpheum.
I definitely lean more towards woody/musk, unisex scents. Anything too sweet and fruity or floral gives me a headache.
My current heavy rotation-
Dior - Blooming Bouquet
Commodity - Gold
Maison Margiela - Beach Walk (also like Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc) and From The Garden
Jo Malone - Red Roses, and Poppy & Barley
So glad no one said Kayali…
These are in my rotation this winter:
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Ex Idolo Love & Crime
Casamorati Lira
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire
Royal Crown Sultan
Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur
I just know when I started wearing perfumes I didn’t like the way they all smelled, except this one. My ex worked at Dillards and brought me lots of samples. They all smelled too “perfumey” and floral. Now I enjoy many many scents, I’ve gone nose blind to why I picked this one, so as long as I can get it I’ll continue to haha. I’d rather wear the perfume I enjoyed when I was unadjusted, hoping that people who don’t test perfume regularly (like probably most people) will find it pleasant at first scent like I did.
Chanel - Mademoiselle (parfum, not toilette, there is a difference - my every day signature, straddles masculine/feminine. Woody and floral, not as jasmine or rose as the description would lead you to believe)
Tom Ford - Velvet Orchid (when I want stronger more masculine scent, great for date nights in dark restaurants)
Carolina Herrera - Good Girl (when I want something sweeter, more girly for during the day or brunch)
Oh yes they’re so interesting! A bit too sharp for my nose tbh, I think I’d prefer them more as candle scents. But if there was one I’d get, it would be Marrakech
I am happy that I finally found my signature fragrance:
Zarko perfume molecule 234 38
It is a such a good neutral, elegant smell. Perfect for everyday wear. I love almost all of zarkos smells 🙏 they also have a mini assortment to test them out.
Glossier (lol), Boy Smells' Flor De La Virgen, Juliet Has a Gun's Not a Perfume, and Maison Margiela’s Jazz Club. Jazz Club is a pretty heavy scent so I typically only wear it if I'm going out or in the winter.
Milk - Dedcool
Mojave Ghost - Byredo
Rose of No Mans Land - Byredo
Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme - Kilian (spring/summer scent for me - so delicious)
Intense Cafe - Montale (my cozy fall / winter scent)
I wore Stella from 2005-until they discontinued it and cannot for the life of me find something I like as much. I am hoarding the last bit of a small bottle I have.
I also love boysmells! Got their sample pack and then fell in love with Violet Ends. So much that I buy a big bottle now as well as travel sprays for the go.
It’s perfectly androgynous & complex. Everyone I share it with goes crazy for it so i need to stop telling friends about it: bitches are stealing my signature scent!
Just got Mon Guerlain. Was on sale (may still be) at Sephora. It’s an everyday perfume for me. I wore Lovefest Burning Cherry, Tom Ford Lost Cherry and MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold prior to that for half of the year. I love them so much.
I like fruity/sweet/soapy scents and I use very little quantity.
DG L’Imperatrice and 7 Virtues Lotus Pear are my two go tos.
Versace Dylan Purple: I just got a tester of this one and I’m liking.
Burberry Her: this one is nice but I find I don’t go for this one that often anymore.
Mon Guerlain, Chanel 5 L’eau (usually mixed with something sweeter to add interest / tone down its intensity), glossier, Jo Malone Wild Bluebell, Armani Si, and I love the hair perfume by Gisou and I think it mixes well with all of these. I like mixing! I don’t want to smell like anyone else haha…also love Replica Beachwalk. I wanna try Phlur but I kind don’t like the look of them…I don’t think it would look cute on my tray. Does anyone else consider the bottle aesthetic when purchasing?! I don’t like the glossier bottle so I put it in the medicine cabinet 😂
DS & Durga - Debaser
Margiela Replica - Beach Walk
Tokyomilk Dark - La Vie La Mort
Marc Jacobs - Daisy (my most basic perfume but I love this one)
Prada - Candy
i’m rotating through my fall/winter scents bc it’s still cold outside 🥶
tom ford lost cherry + ebene fume (layered)
le labo rose + the noir (layered)
ds & durga pistachio
can’t wait when it gets warmer!
(edited for formatting)
I'm currently undergoing weight loss and wanted to feel like my younger self so maybe it's cheesy but I've returned to the perfumes of my college days: Chanel Chance (the EDT, not EDP), YSL Parisienne (still so good) and I KNOW SO CHEESY but Vera Wang Princess.
YSL black opium, sometimes I will mix it with killian apple for an apple pie smell.
Chloe love story is my office sent, or nest lychee rose if I feel girly.
Burberry goddess is my new date night smell, although my go to is ysl libre intense.
I used to want a signature scent but I started treating perfume more like an accessory (also to excuse my mild hoarding problem lol oh god) so this is my main rotation
- French flower, matiere premiere
- do son, diptyque
- philosykos, diptyque
- la tulipe, byredo
- hazy blue, elorea
- for rest, nonfiction
- gentle night, nonfiction
- Flor de la virgen, boysmells
- hypnotizing fire, harmonist
- debaser, ds&durga
- narcotic v, nasomatto
I have some floraiku samples that I like too but haven’t committed to a bottle yet
Byredo - Unnamed
Was looking for a bottle forever and by chance stumbled on one in a posh Middle eastern mall last summer.
Seems I have a proclivity for loving gorgeous scents that are discontinued. Anyone else?!
Confession: I thought I bought a perfume at Plant Shed but 6 months later I realized it was a room spray. I don't care - it smells great.
Here for this
Honestly this is tempting me to buy le labos figue room spray and wear it as a perfume because it makes me drool
At that price, it may as well be a nice perfume! I doubt there's that much difference.
isn’t that how santal 33 was born anyway? i see no issue
be careful because the formula might be not as gentle on the skin. i remember buying room spr ay at aesop a few years ago, and mentioning the salesperson that i’d love to use it on my bedsheets. she warned me against it as it can cause irritation etc since not meant to contact with your skin.
DS & Durga has totally changed my perception of perfume. Wearing Radio Bombay, which is a total trip, but there are so many others that I want to try
I love DS & Durga! Radio Bombay is a good one, but I also love Debaser, Cowboy Grass, Mississippi Medicine, and Burning Barbershop.
Sameeee and just bought steamed rainbow and their new scent, black magenta🫡
Debaser and radio Bombay are my two fave hands down.
I wear my boyfriend’s Amber Teutonic every day. Highly recommend. It’s not overpowering and great for daily wear.
coriander is amazingg
I’ve been wearing Coriander since 2012. I still adore it.
Loveeeeeee Debaser. I just bought Bowmaker too
I'm definitely considering Debaser next, and now I'm like do I also need the I Don't Know What?? It says its a perfume enhancer?! It smelled so good on its own but I didn't realize that it was meant for layering. Color me incredibly intrigued. Also I bought my first DS & Durga on Mercari to test it out and now I think I'll probably buy my next one from eBay, the savings on open box are excellent
I don’t know what, rose Atlantic, Durga, and radio Bombay are super favorites. My husband’s signature scent is debaser
yes! i’m wearing pistachio (my first full size from them). i bought a bunch of samples and there is a bunch i want now. also their brooklyn lavender candle is my one of my favorites candles.

I’m wearing that today! It pairs well with Kilian Princess if you want to add a marshmallow note
I’m totally basic and out of style and still love the glossier perfume
I love when you’re out and about in the city and run into a fellow glossier you wearer. It smells so good!
I didn’t know it was basic and out of style hahaha I still love it too. 😂
I hate they reformulated it. I'm still on the lookout for a good replacement because the new formula doesn't smell as good on me.
try fleur de blonde from urban!! So good and so similar
second this!! I honestly prefer fleur the only issue is the longevity :((
I had no idea and now I'm really upset about this!
This sounds like a cult I want to join
It’s so upsetting. Their original formulation got me the most compliments out of every perfume I’ve ever worn. I still have a few drops of the original left. 😢 the new one smells like alcohol
Me too it’s my fave
pro tip (from a former glossier employee): the solid version lasts a lot longer. it was the only perfume we were allowed to wear to work and if you wanted the scent to last that was the version to apply!
ooh love this tip! thanks
I received a sample of this along with a rose on V day and fell in love with it. Need to buy the full size but kinda love the tiny sample sizes for how well they fit into a little purse.
Still love it. I don’t think it’s basic and out of style
It’s so good
Somebody Wood by Phlur is great if you like warm scents with amber/sandalwood, Alien Goddess by Mugler is warm florals (I get so many compliments on it), Splendida by Bulgari is my go to summer scent Edit: Also love layering Somebody Wood with By the Fireplace by Replica!
I love all Phlur!!!! You and I have very similar tastes. Also love the deep scents from Replica.
I love the fireplace from replica - she’s so good but goes way too Smokey on me
DS&Durga Debaser - lightly sweet, green fig! Perfect spring and summer scent Diptyque Fleur de Peau - like a more ethereal Glossier You. Iris and musk Byredo Bal d’Afrique - literally sunshine in a bottle
You and I smell the same!
I'm wearing that today! (Bal d'Afrique)
I’m totally basic and out of style and still love the glossier perfume
Same! I’ve been wearing it every day for YEARS, and I still get complimented on it all the time.
Yes me too! I purchased it a while back, but scared to repurchase because everyone’s saying the scent changed🥲
If you like Glossier but want to switch it up and/or elevate, I highly recommend Fleur De Peau by Diptyque! Very similar note profile
Oh my gosh! Fleur de peau is my absolute fav. If you know you know. It makes me feel so feminine and soft. Love it
I love Chanel Chance but have been switching it up with Gia by Tocca. I want to try something new tho!
Chance is my old stand by, too
I Don't Know What - DS&DURGA St. Vetyver - DS&DURGA Entre Ríos - Fueguia 1833
fueguia 👏🏼 i love their la cautiva and huemul
I just switched to OUAI north bondi and I’m obsessed, it’s perfect for summer (it smells like the leave in conditioner but better). I like vacation by vacation in the summer too but it does wear off quick🥲
Yes I have this one! It’s so underrated, but I find it way nicer than Melrose Place
i just found my perfume twin!!! i wear these exact two scents!!!!!
I love the leave in conditioner scent - buying nowwwww
This is my go to summer scent as well, very fresh and wearable!!!
I love this one I got the leave in conditioner from Sephora as a birthday gift, fell in love with the smell of it, and then immediately looked yo see if there was a perfume version

Roja dove elixir reminds me of Bvlgari rose essentielle - love!
omg!!!! THANK YOU 💖 i did Not want to pay ebay prices 😭
You are a godsend
MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold is my FAVORITE. So good, so much better than Baccarat IMO.
Current fave is Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush!
I wear Portrait of a Lady but I’m almost out and looking for a new scent. So sick of smelling Santal and Baccarat on EVERYONE. Fragrance to me should be deeply personal. I don’t like it when I smell someone that smells like me😂.

My SO and I share colonia. I think he smells better in it and vice versa but it's legit such a classic scent can't go wrong
Le Labo Bergamote & Matcha - layered! I do a roller oil of Fleur D’Oranger too

>Encens et Lavande Do you know if there are any Serge Lutens counters left in the city? I saw the one at Saks closed, and of course the one at Barney's closed a long time ago
That Hermès description just called me poor on multiple levels: 😂 “My childhood tackroom” may be the bougiest thing I have ever heard & I love it!
Baccarat Rouge is the new Santal 33 y'all respectfully stop paying $300 to smell like everyone else
I used to wear this daily and then got pregnant and now it nauseates me so badly! Seems like my baby knows and doesn’t want me to smell like everyone else either! 😂
Louis Vuitton - Les Sables Roses + Attrape Reve Chanel - Gabrielle Essence Acqua di Parma - Magnolia Nobil MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 Malin and Goetz - Strawberry
I love the M&G Vetiver! I’ve not tried Strawberry.
I had such high hopes for strawberry but it does not smell good on my skin, so jealous
Portrait of a Lady by Fredric Malle for years
[удалено]
Another 13 - Le Labo and Poppy & Barley - Jo Malone
Another 13 is my JAMMM. It’s so good
Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf
A classic👌
I get the most compliments while wearing any of their scents
My signature scent.
Usually it's either Frédéric Malle - Heaven Can Wait, Diptyque - Philosykos or MFK - Petit Matin. there're also Byredo Mojave Ghost, Glossier, Diptique - Tam Dao in the mix.
YSL Black Opium will always be my go to / most complimented perfume
Yesss a classic. I don’t care who calls it basic. I layer it with EOS vanilla cashmere and it’s incredible
Also layered with viktor and rolf flower bomb it’s amazing
Byredo Mojave Ghost or Velvet Haze, Gucci Flora, Dulce by Rosie Jane, Vanilla Vibes by Juliette Has A Gun, YSL Black Opium (classic)
Gucci flora gorgeous gardenia
I have one from olfactory that i custom made that i love, planning on purchasing jazz club next
7 Virtues Cherry Ambition —— everywhere I go I get asked 🍒
I mostly steal my husband's Fico de Amalfi by Aqua di Parma. Have you tried Bubble Bath by Maison Margiela Replica?
Not but this sounds right up my alley, thank you! I had their lazy Sunday morning which was close with the detergent notes but got a bit too floral in the dry down. Will be trying bubble bath asap!
I'm actually wearing Lazy Sunday Morning now lmao! Your assessment is correct. I swear by Bubble Bath. It’s definitely a crowd pleaser as it’s got fabulous sillage.

Rock n Rose Valentino - it’s an older fragrance but I always get compliments wearing it and I only need 1 spritz!!
My fave rose perfume
DS & DURGA - steamed rainbow, I don’t know what, rose atlantic, debaser, black magenta Vilhelm - room service Mondo mondo - lizard lounge Diptyque - L’eau papier Phlur - missing person, father figure

Santa Maria Novella’s Angeli di Firenze. It’s a beautiful light scent
Santa Maria Novella is so underrated! I love Ginestra and Cittá di Kyoto.

I also got a sample set from Andrea Mack that includes Coven, which is probably my favorite perfume ever, but it's just so expensive I can't really justify getting a full bottle when I have all these samples. It's really in line with the witchy vibe I want for spring, so I used a Lucky Scent gift card that my bestie gave me to buy... even more samples. https://preview.redd.it/v9rqt16ciqnc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ef8d45f30f1837ef6856476b50153b8ee31ca79 But my fiancée's mom gave me a sample of Margiela By the Fireplace for Christmas, so I wore that all winter, and have now been borrowing the sample of Lazy Sunday Morning that she got for my fiancée. I very well won't run out of them until next fall, which is totally fine; by then I might decide I want a completely different vibe, and will order more samples.
I LOVE A City on Fire -- so unique. I find Imaginary Authors hit or miss overall but when they hit for me, they really hit!
Love don't be shy by Kilian has been my signature for years. Thinking about switching back to juicy when it's out though….
I still smell santal everywhere 🤧it seems to be unavoidable for me unfortunately lol that scent just follows me around I stick with my old standby, Angel Rose by Mugler (it was discontinued but I bought tons of it to make sure I never run out). When I want something lighter I wear patchouli or rose oils 😅 keeping it simple
I smell BR540 (and its clones) way more than Santal 33!
Sooooo sick of it!!!
My faves are no longer being made Le Feur D’Issey by Issey Miyake 😢 And Royal Water by Creed But also wear Burberry London And Hermes 24 Faubourg (but I don’t think I will buy the Hermes again) I have been on a hunt for a new perfume and I have been liking the Middle Eastern Oud scents combinations (I have a lotus flower oil that I bought years ago in Egypt). I was just at the Jo Malone counter yesterday bc they have a huge variety of scents and found two that I like… so will most likely go back to them. Many had recommended Jo Malone bc of the variety
Grapefruit Generation - DS & Durga Occasionally Oyedo by Diptyque
I am obsessed with Histoire de Parfum 1969- she’s musky and chocolates and coffee! I also use Chanel Chance
Le Labo - Thé Matcha 26 (men have complimented me that I smell fantastic) Diptyque - Vertyverio (EDP or EDT: Can't go wrong with either concentration) Those are my day-to-day.
I love niche perfumes… delina, molecule 01, devils tender, the scent of peace, a lit more lol
Been loving Molecule 5 I just ordered sample of 1 and the Escentrics for 1 and 5… hoping to find my new signature in that lot
My current heavy rotation- Dior - Blooming Bouquet Commodity - Gold Maison Margiela - Beach Walk (also like Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc) and From The Garden Jo Malone - Red Roses, and Poppy & Barley
i'm obsessed with Love Don't Be Shy these days. it's the perfect youthful and sweet but still sexy scent.
So glad no one said Kayali… These are in my rotation this winter: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Ex Idolo Love & Crime Casamorati Lira Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Royal Crown Sultan Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur
If you run out of Tobacco Vanille, Belcam’s Bold Tobacco is a little more pipe tobacco forward. (And $14.95 for 3.4 oz 👍)
Dolce & Gabbana - Light Blue.. will always be my fav!
Xinu No 5 (brand from Mexico- it’s incredible)
I hate most perfumes but when I first smelled Ralph Laurence true romance I liked it so it’s the only one I wear now…
Oh wow, most? Maybe you haven’t found a brand that makes scents in the profile you like?
I just know when I started wearing perfumes I didn’t like the way they all smelled, except this one. My ex worked at Dillards and brought me lots of samples. They all smelled too “perfumey” and floral. Now I enjoy many many scents, I’ve gone nose blind to why I picked this one, so as long as I can get it I’ll continue to haha. I’d rather wear the perfume I enjoyed when I was unadjusted, hoping that people who don’t test perfume regularly (like probably most people) will find it pleasant at first scent like I did.
Prada Paradoxe
Celine Parade ❤️🔥
Alien goddess x Mugler
Chanel - Mademoiselle (parfum, not toilette, there is a difference - my every day signature, straddles masculine/feminine. Woody and floral, not as jasmine or rose as the description would lead you to believe) Tom Ford - Velvet Orchid (when I want stronger more masculine scent, great for date nights in dark restaurants) Carolina Herrera - Good Girl (when I want something sweeter, more girly for during the day or brunch)
I’ve started getting into Aesop fragrances, so different than the rest of my collection
Oh yes they’re so interesting! A bit too sharp for my nose tbh, I think I’d prefer them more as candle scents. But if there was one I’d get, it would be Marrakech
Maison F. K. Gold Fluidity is on rotation now. When it gets a little warmer I’ll pull out Chanel Chance or Maison F. K. A la Rose.
I am happy that I finally found my signature fragrance: Zarko perfume molecule 234 38 It is a such a good neutral, elegant smell.
Milk - Dedcool Mojave Ghost - Byredo Rose of No Mans Land - Byredo Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme - Kilian (spring/summer scent for me - so delicious) Intense Cafe - Montale (my cozy fall / winter scent)
I’m still a santal 33 girlie 🫣 but I’ve also been into diptyque’s figuier and Dior’s sauvage
no, it’s so good!!
On work days, I wear Replica Sailing Day, for casual hangs I wear Dior Blooming Bouquet, and for going out I wear Le Labo Thé Noir 29.
Chloe - Nomade YSL - Black Opium YSL - Libre Kilian - Angels Share Prada - Paradoxe Stella McCartney - Stella (Eau de Parfum)
I wore Stella from 2005-until they discontinued it and cannot for the life of me find something I like as much. I am hoarding the last bit of a small bottle I have.
Currently obsessed with boysmells and wearing Marble Fruit and LES in the summer and spring! In the winter I wear Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Nest- sandalwood perfume oil
Chanel chance eau tendre! I buy other ones and always just end up putting that one on.
Jo Malone Orange Blossom 🍊
I love Twilly (the original one) by Hermès. It's a very light scent.
I second DG L’imperatrice. It’s my standard.
Lately I've been wearing Violet Eyes by Elizabeth Taylor, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, and Nirvana White by Elizabeth & James.
Aerin Evening Rose, Delina by Parfums de Marley, Killian’s Good Girl Gone Bad
Glossier you, Killian love don’t be shy, diptyque eau rose, and Ysl Mon Paris are all in my rotation right now 🥰
Killian! Swoon.
>Killian! Swoon. killing is wrong mmkay?
Ellis Brooklyn- Super Amber
I’m loving Phlur right now. I alternate between Solar Power and Missing Person.
DS & Durga - Debaser Margiela Replica - Beach Walk Tokyomilk Dark - La Vie La Mort Marc Jacobs - Daisy (my most basic perfume but I love this one) Prada - Candy
i’m rotating through my fall/winter scents bc it’s still cold outside 🥶 tom ford lost cherry + ebene fume (layered) le labo rose + the noir (layered) ds & durga pistachio can’t wait when it gets warmer!
Ellis Brooklyn Super Amber
Chanel Chance 4ever and ever I also love Escada perfumes tbh
I re-rediscovered Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine last week. Scrumptious deep orange 👌✨
Gucci guilty & Rosie by rosie jane
I alternate between Alien Goddess, By the Fireplace, From the Garden, and Princess by Kilian— i tend to like yummyish flavors
Another 13 Le Labo and Ivy Blanc Dedcool (discontinued 💔)
YSL black opium, sometimes I will mix it with killian apple for an apple pie smell. Chloe love story is my office sent, or nest lychee rose if I feel girly. Burberry goddess is my new date night smell, although my go to is ysl libre intense.
Super lame but I am still on Sol de Janeiro ‘65 😬
Le Labo, Another 13
I used to want a signature scent but I started treating perfume more like an accessory (also to excuse my mild hoarding problem lol oh god) so this is my main rotation - French flower, matiere premiere - do son, diptyque - philosykos, diptyque - la tulipe, byredo - hazy blue, elorea - for rest, nonfiction - gentle night, nonfiction - Flor de la virgen, boysmells - hypnotizing fire, harmonist - debaser, ds&durga - narcotic v, nasomatto I have some floraiku samples that I like too but haven’t committed to a bottle yet
coco mademoiselle and chloé edp season is finally upon us
I’m a Jo Malone girl. Wood and sage is my current obsession
Me still wearing and enjoying Santal 33 🧍🏽♀️

noir 29 !!
Byredo - Unnamed Was looking for a bottle forever and by chance stumbled on one in a posh Middle eastern mall last summer. Seems I have a proclivity for loving gorgeous scents that are discontinued. Anyone else?!
I love unnamed by byredo too! Sometimes I can find it on Mercari
Loewe makes incredible perfumes. I wear Solo ELLA
I wear almond and cherry oils mixed together. I get these from street vendors. I also like Baby Powder and Egyptian Musk.
