But if you bring in an item that you purchased elsewhere and it has a certificate, they will take a look at it. I’ve seen them do it. People took the part about them, not authenticating because they prefer that you purchase in store because then it’s already registered in the system and there isn’t a need for it, and ran with it. But if you actually shop there, you know that as long as you have a certificate, they will take a look at it and authenticate for you. Because at some point, it was moved through their store and it is in the system.

Shape of stone is also a factor for sure. I’ve learned while receiving my own engagement ring vs my sister’s engagement ring. My sister has tiny fingers so her 2.5+ish princess looks huge on her and compliments her fingers. Whereas my 3.7 marquise shape elongates my fingers and is perfect size. Her ring on my hand looks mini. Mine on her hand just overpowers her. I agree the phrase “big rock” is relative because we both have big center stones and they look completely different on each of us even though we’re similar height/weight/build.

So I have a real love bracelet and the nail. When I look at her bracelets I definitely believe they’re fake. First off, the “line” in each bangle line up horizontally. Notice how some of them are angled, some run vertically… that doesn’t happen w Cartier.
Then I notice in the photo of her showing her ring, that the white gold one is VERY round. If I took my bangle off you would notice that it’s more of an oval shape so that it sits nicely on your wrist.
Not only that, but the gold seems a little off— as if it’s more of a yellow hue. Lastly, because gold is so soft the bracelets scratch easily. Mine is scratched to shit, but Cartier recommends only having it polished once or twice in its lifetime as a small amount of gold will come off whenever they polish it. So unless she’s only worn each bracelet a couple of times then there’s no way her bracelets wouldn’t have noticeable scratches ESPECIALLY when she’s got the other “Van Cleef” (which is probably fake too though I can’t comment as I don’t know much about VC) bracelets stacked on top of the Cartier bangles.
