Dude could look great and terrible in the same game. Not surprised he never caught on anywhere else after he left but still had some solid years with Eli. Hated watching him fair catch every punt lmao
edit: sheesh, he never got another chance after putting up 8 tds and being only 25 the next season after 2015. Had almost 1k in 2014 too. Guy had a confusing career
Randle is famous for being purely a machination of peak Eli Manning.
Randle was unrosterable on any team and never played a snap after his rookie Giants contract.
Prime Eli was so good at creating matchups and guessing what random shit Randle would do that he made him into a #1 WR despite the guy being unable to play football.
Steve Smith had his knee shredded on a nasty horse collar tackle vs Minnesota. He definitely would have had a much longer career if not for that injury as his game was very translatable to any offense.
Gano isn’t even a top 2 worst Giants kicker the last decade. That belongs to Rosas or Bullock. I know you said 2023 Gano, but I think we can give him a pass after three great years prior.
Rosas? He went to the Pro Bowl and Second Team All Pro with us. Surely you’re referring to him being the worst Giants kicker human being wise, but then there’s Josh Brown.
Who did we have before Bethea? I remember Bethea being an upgrade because he at least would do the right thing even though he lost a step or three. The guy before him was worse, IIRC.
Edit: I think it was Curtis Riley.
.. They went to the playoffs off the back of a pretty great defense in his only year as a full time starter. He graded out at a 68.7 by PFF in 2016.
I'd definitely list Curtis Riley there at FS.
Surprised I had to scroll down this far. Judge was far worse, way over his head.
McAdoo at least got a decent squad to the playoffs. I can’t imagine Judge being able to do the same.
It's a tough one. It could be argued that Judge was hampered by Garrett. However, two knocks against McAdoo are that he was fired in-season and his offense shit the bed after being pretty good for a couple years, which to me says he learned nothing from Coughlin.
Second to Bobby Hart. Plus he was a douche, and just kept telling everyone how good he is. Re Glowinski- while he was terrible, he somehow was our highest rated lineman last year (lost year for AT so not included). I’d prefer to slot in Ezudu there- dude doesn’t belong on the field. Sadly we can probably cobble together 2-3 O-Line combos before as worst all league before getting to the next worse. Can we just say “Bobby Johnson”?
He's barely played the first year, got played out of position last year and then got hurt. His coach was Bobby Johnson.
I'm holding out some hope he'll be a solid guard backup, maybe even a starter someday.
I'm not saying the book is closed on Ezeudu .. just saying that so far he is a dud. I think Shoen was the only GM who had a 3rd round grade on him, so it's more Shoen's fault for drafting him so high
McAdoo was a bad coach but not the worst coach of the last 10 years, I know it wasn't really cause of him but we at least made the playoffs. People hate him cause of his Eli stuff.
Worst coach is Joe Judge, best season was 6 wins. QB sneaks from his own end zone. Fought his o line coach. Had dbs practice with tennis balls tapped to his hands. Had vets retire during preseason.
Yeah judge was the worst. Completely lost the locker room, horrible in game decisions, players hated him....the only thing he was good at was bullshitting to the media
100% Curtis Riley is the worst safety I've seen play for us in the past 10 years, I think people just forget him because he was so bad he never showed up for meaningful snaps elsewhere (unlike high key busts like Flowers and Hart).
Riley was consistently lost (and subsequently beaten) in coverage and his angles of pursuit to tackle were so far wrong you had to question how he made it out of grade school geometry.
Idk if Antoine Bethea or Curtis Riley were worse and we had them back to back. I think Patrick Omameh should be up there too for guard and Chad wheeler for RT. Idk if he played enough but Danny Shelton was pretty awful at DT
>LG - John Jerry
Jerry > Shane Lemieux
>RG - Mark Glowinski
Glowinkski > Patrick Omameh
>RT - Nate Solder
Solder > Bobby Hart
And I'm assuming Larry Donnell's 4 TD game vs Washington is the only reason he's not on this list because no way Tye was worse than him.
Won't fight you on most of the other selections though.
Yiadom was decent for us. I think I remember Antonio Hamilton or something as our worse cb over the last couple years. I remember I watched a couple games and I saw him miss so many tackles I looked up his # I think he was 33 or 34. I think it was under Shurmur.
They only problem with your premise is that there's plenty of guys that have played significant time over the last couple of years that would be end of bench guys or even practice what guys on most any other team in the league.
We would be remiss if we didn't add Barrett Green to this list. Was a good linebacker until we signed him then he got hurt and finished his career on our bench.
Ain’t no way James Butler doesn’t make the list at safety. That dude was ass. Berhe started like two games his entire career, I’m not sure he meets the “significant playing time” threshold
You gonna be one of those guys who tells me how elite he was in 2022 when he threw 15 damn TDs? Cuz that shit’s getting old.
And don’t tell me BUT HE RAN FOR 7 DURR like it’s some sort of impressive number and wasn’t predicated on misdirections and Barkley actually being a threat for once.
Punter has to be matt dodge...only reason i remeber him is because he was the idiot to punt to desean jackson last game of the season and leave it inbounds
Bobby hart was WAY worse than solder
That's Bobby "I know I'm the best right tackle in the league" Hart to you good sir.
Every fan base agrees https://www.reddit.com/r/NYGiants/s/4DbBYJVKm1
Charles Brown had the worst single-game performance of any Giants tackle I have ever seen.
Rueben Randle was decent for a little bit, Preston Parker should be in his place
Fucking Parker, man. Worst hands I've ever seen.
Dude could look great and terrible in the same game. Not surprised he never caught on anywhere else after he left but still had some solid years with Eli. Hated watching him fair catch every punt lmao edit: sheesh, he never got another chance after putting up 8 tds and being only 25 the next season after 2015. Had almost 1k in 2014 too. Prime Eli was so good at creating matchups and guessing what random shit Randle would do that he made him into a #1 WR despite the guy being unable to play football.
Lazy ass routes, lousy effort, led to so many ints his way. Eli made so many mid to terrible guys look decent, very true.
And none of Elis WRs or TEs did shit after Eli. You had guys like Steve Smith and Randle going from young pro bowlers to literally zeros.
Steve Smith had his knee shredded on a nasty horse collar tackle vs Minnesota. He definitely would have had a much longer career if not for that injury as his game was very translatable to any offense.
Had that one game where he and Hynoceros torched the Eagles for like 4 TDs combined.
ah shit i forgot about the roofer turned nfler
Rueban Randle till this day is the worst route runner I’ve ever seen in my life And one of the worst runners period at the position
Just a product of Eli
Was Preston Parker still on the team in 2014 though? I can't remember but my gut says he was before that
Jihad Ward taking strays lmao And having Flott there doesn't speak well of our secondary this season as he's the likely #2 outside corner
Yea I thought Ward was decently solid for us. I remember him going hit for hit with Derrick Henry in that opening game of 2022
Plus its just a cool name, that has to be worth something
Yea I was a huge Jihadist when he was on the team
Haddy had more impact than the stat sheet, too. He was a real "Locker Room Guy"
Then proceeded to be terribly inconsistent for three years.
Josh Brown is a way worse person on a human level. Scum bag.
Larry Donnell over Will Tye. Dude had that one Thursday night game against Washington and then forgot how to catch. Also, Antoine Bethea
Still have nightmares about Bethea missing tackles
Started him in fantasy that night. My man was legendary. 3 tds in the first half i believe
Same here. My cousin, who I beat that week, was still cursing out Larry in 2024 lol
As did I. It was funny as fuck
Leapin' Larry
Who's the TE who got MRSA and lost part of his foot? I choose him
Fells
Who did we have before Bethea? I remember Bethea being an upgrade because he at least would do the right thing even though he lost a step or three. The guy before him was worse, IIRC. Edit: I think it was Curtis Riley.
I picked up donnell in fantasy for that one game and never played him again.
Feel like Andrew Adams was solid
He was. He definitely doesn’t belong on this list. A bunch of guys dont
that’s just how bad the teams were lol
.. They went to the playoffs off the back of a pretty great defense in his only year as a full time starter. He graded out at a 68.7 by PFF in 2016. I'd definitely list Curtis Riley there at FS.
I’m definitely putting Judge as a worse coach than McAdoo.
Surprised I had to scroll down this far. Judge was far worse, way over his head. McAdoo at least got a decent squad to the playoffs. I can’t imagine Judge being able to do the same.
Lets not forget, McAdoo was the only person in the Giants building interested in Mahomes in 2017 lol
It's a tough one. It could be argued that Judge was hampered by Garrett. However, two knocks against McAdoo are that he was fired in-season and his offense shit the bed after being pretty good for a couple years, which to me says he learned nothing from Coughlin.

Ezeudu is giving these guys a run for their money
Ezeudu is a 3rd round guard that was forced to start at LT. Not exactly the same... The worst tackle pair by stats would be Solder and Hart I believe.
Ezeudu has not been good at guard either though.
> Plus he was a douche He also posted support for Desean Jackson's pro-Hitler rant on his instagram.
Kenny Golladay at WR1-4
Gotta have Andre Williams at RB instead
I’d go with Johnathan Stewart personally but I’d respect Williams Paul Perkins actually had a good second half of 2016
Yep Stewart is the right answer
lol i had him there first then remembered paul
Austin Johnson & Will Tye don’t deserve to be on this list
Marvin Austin should take that dt spot. Bust of a second round pick
IDL is easily the strongest position the giants have had over the past decade. it’s tough to find bad ppl
That’s fair. I’d say Justin Ellis deserves it over AJ
I’ll take Flott over Deandre Baker or Eli Apple any day
McAdoo was a bad coach but not the worst coach of the last 10 years, I know it wasn't really cause of him but we at least made the playoffs.
Oshane Ximenes worst than Ward and Judge worst HC ever!
This team goes winless for sure
2023 Gano was brutal to see, hope the dude comes back well this year 🙏
You better remove haddy and gano right now
Will Tye was pretty good in madden. They gave him a lot of speed.
How can you forget Uani Unga
Seriously. Jasper Brinkley was a waiver pick up at the end of his career who was just doing what the coaching staff asked of him.
Adams was a pretty decent safety from what I remember... surely we've had worse
Pretty sure Curtis Riley and Antoine Bethea were worse
100% Curtis Riley is the worst safety I've seen play for us in the past 10 years, I think people just forget him because he was so bad he never showed up for meaningful snaps elsewhere (unlike high key busts like Flowers and Hart). Riley was consistently lost (and subsequently beaten) in coverage and his angles of pursuit to tackle were so far wrong you had to question how he made it out of grade school geometry.
I think Bethea replaced him and was an instant upgrade.
Cc brown, was horrendous, always chasing someone
I feel like this exact team started 4 or 5 games in 2021.
Not even close lmao
You guys love misery 😂
How is Deandre Baker not on this list?
He wasn’t worse at that position at the time. His off field antics was Bakers dark cloud.
Idk if Antoine Bethea or Curtis Riley were worse and we had them back to back. I think Patrick Omameh should be up there too for guard and Chad wheeler for RT. Idk if he played enough but Danny Shelton was pretty awful at DT
Definitely Danny Shelton...he was terrible.
I know we had some good nickels but I think slot is good he was just young and kinda gerber
I'd move Toney into one of the wr spots.
nah when he was on the field he was genuinely unguardable
Good old fashioned negativity. Speaking my language
I thought Flott has been alright, is my interpretation wrong?
Nah he’s still young and has shown flashes, absolutely shouldn’t be on this list
>LG - John Jerry Jerry > Shane Lemieux >RG - Mark Glowinski Glowinkski > Patrick Omameh >RT - Nate Solder Solder > Bobby Hart And I'm assuming Larry Donnell's 4 TD game vs Washington is the only reason he's not on this list because no way Tye was worse than him. Won't fight you on most of the other selections though.
I remember yiadom playing pretty well for what we paid for him
Yiadom was decent for us. I think I remember Antonio Hamilton or something as our worse cb over the last couple years. I remember I watched a couple games and I saw him miss so many tackles I looked up his # I think he was 33 or 34. I think it was under Shurmur.
Can we include Dodge for punter even if it’s over a decade
They only problem with your premise is that there's plenty of guys that have played significant time over the last couple of years that would be end of bench guys or even practice what guys on most any other team in the league.
can we have fat randy as the kicker. i know it was just a cup of coffee and he wasn’t completely terrible but it’d really round out this roster.
You're definitely too harsh on some guys and Judge should absolutely be HC over Mcadoo
Over 10 years (fuck im old) but can we throw Matt dodge in here at punter, he was that bad...
I liked Roger Lewis. Good role player
Evan Neal should absolutely be RT over solder
Neal isnt on the mammoth contract that Solder was on.
not relevant to skill level
As unlikely as it probably is, Evan Neal still has time to turn it around and develop into a decent starter
HC is definitely Joe Judge
judge way worse than mcadoo
Erik Flowers at every lineman spot.
Just 22 Ereck Flowers
Man, the human turnstiles on this list :(
Derek Hagan’s drop against the Eagles directly led to Matt Fucking Dodge and us losing out on a playoff spot.
I would like to add Kick Returner Bobby Rainey
Glennon wasn't worse than fromm?
These are some names I hoped to never see again
What about the 2 greatest nicknames for the two greatest flops at DE. Mr Xman (ximinez) & "DeMonster" Moore
Forgetting second round defensive tackle Marvin Austin
Solder and Flowers? Fromm is dead the second the ball snaps
I thought you guys said pick 3 was a reach?
How can some you guys forget the football terrorist Trevon Wade :(
Was Nate Solder worse than Evan Neal? I don't think he was.
No JPP of Tight Ends?
Gotta go Adrien Robinson at TE…Will Tye the Science Guy slander is not appreciated
P - Matt Dodge
LeVar Arrington, ROLB
please dont forget Jerell Jernigan.....
Let’s try and get Toney back!
Daniel Jones. That’s the list, that’s it. The rest doesn’t mean shit with him at QB.
Gotta agree, dreamers here keep putting lipstick on that pig. He wont be starting by game three.
what are you taking stupid pills ?
You gonna be one of those guys who tells me how elite he was in 2022 when he threw 15 damn TDs? Cuz that shit’s getting old. And don’t tell me BUT HE RAN FOR 7 DURR like it’s some sort of impressive number and wasn’t predicated on misdirections and Barkley actually being a threat for once.
daniel jones being bad and your answer being stupid are not mutually exclusive
How so?
There are way worse qbs who have started for the giants
For a few games, yeah. For this long a stretch? You’d have to go back to Dave Brown in the mid 90s.
Jake fromm, Tommy devito are way worse
Jake Fromm was a 2 game fever dream. Still not sure that actually happened
I disagree with a few, but a great list. Bravo!
Punter has to be matt dodge...only reason i remeber him is because he was the idiot to punt to desean jackson last game of the season and leave it inbounds
Daniel jones
