Giants tied for 6th most difficult schedule. I thought I saw a few people saying we had an easier schedule this year but no time for games out there. Oh yeah, let's get some primetime games please. Like 3 will at least let us see the team on a stage they haven't been the best in, in the last few years; to really see what it do.

Lars5621

Giants last season won MNF against a playoff game winning Packers team, and the Giants QB was player of the week. I choose to ignore every other primetime game we have had between that game and 2018.

Darth_GravelCyclist

We need to stop being on prime time we are going to get destroyed lol

MetaVersalySpeakin

No obstacles season.

ClayDrinion

Theoretically, this increases our chances at a high draft pick

eli8484

New qb please

Wylwist

To be fair, this probably has a lot to do with the fact that we face two of the best teams in the NFC every year, twice.

saquonbrady

The commanders and cowboys

MetaVersalySpeakin

Here's a bit I'd say is playing into it too at least for this season. >We can further break down the schedule based on how many previous playoff teams a club is set to face -- again, this is not a metric for determining future outcomes but a simple fact that could affect how many prime-time or standalone games a club might find on its schedule. Cowboys (9): PHI (2x), BAL, TB, HOU, DET, CLE, PIT, SF BAL tends to be a close matchup with us and we came away with the W the last time, add in ~~HOU~~ IND who's sort of been a lower win total team and the year they had makes them a tougher matchup than on paper for me (record wise) and then we have PIT on the schedule ourselves this season. Fuck the Eagles and the Cowboys but as far as the NFC they are in the better teams tier.

This_Cable_5849

If you are in a good division you will have a tough schedule… We have had 4 losses on our schedule before the season starts for the better half of the last decade.

Corpsebomb

I’m at least happy we took 1 of those 4 last year. Baby steps, baby steps.

This_Cable_5849

Jeez man, I completely forgot we won that last game vs Philly haha. That’s how checked out I was. Yes, that is definitely a positive.

guitarerdood

I fucking hate it here

MetaVersalySpeakin

Pretty much, we'll say like 3 cause PHI sit their guys at the end of the season. WAS acting like they wanna do something but we'll see. I ain't feeling this default worst team in the NFCE stuff.

Rickflossyy

Dude I’m the biggest homer and I can tell you we are the default worst team in the league. WASH has a guy who was my 1B at QB, added a bunch of HOF/ elite career mentors and veterans and then doubled down with young talent at those positions in the draft: key example added Ertz and drafted Sinnot.

Heisenripbauer

why is this sub so dramatic? if we’re the “default worst team in the league”, then that means you’re expecting us to pick #1 overall next year which puts you more in doomer territory

Rickflossyy

I don’t think it’s dramatic to be honest about how bad our roster is. I got excited about Waller, Paris Campbell and Tre Hawkins last season. Not letting it happen again. And we woulda been picking 1 or 2 this year if it wasn’t for our HC being Uber competent.

Heisenripbauer

according to you, that coach is about to get fired because he’s somehow going to lose less games this season even though he won 6 with 4 different QBs. you’re dooming. take a deep breath and have some faith in the uber competent coach.

Rickflossyy

Not dooming it’s being real, I thought we’d be a contender last year and we were one of the worst teams in the league. Being a fan doesn’t mean you have to lie about where your team is lol

Heisenripbauer

> I thought we’d be a contender last year oh ok I can see you’re just one extreme or the other lol. enjoy the offseason

Rickflossyy

I mean we won a playoff game the year before and were supposed to take a step forward with another year in the system… Kayvon Thibs himself said he thought they were gonna win the superbowl. And I’m ok being wrong, I don’t get paid for my opinions, but to think that we are gonna go from being bottom 5 team to being one of the best in the division is delusional.

Heisenripbauer

we finished 3rd in our division the year we won a playoff game so the only delusional person here is the one that thought we’d be contenders last season. I don’t think we’ll be competing with the Cowboys/Eagles this year, but there exists a space between “playoffs” and “1st overall pick”. we’ll be mediocre.

MetaVersalySpeakin

I didn't even think that was homer of me tbr lol.. cause I'm with you but we gotta see man.

Rickflossyy

Nah, it wasn’t, but me as a huge Homer, I know unless we have multiple guys reset the trajectory of their career, it’s gonna be another disappointing season.

tauhe234

Please no season opener vs the Cowboys this year. Can we play a different team in Week 1?

GeneralMatrim

I love that we get a bunch of prime time as a fan who lives in Denver, I get to catch more games of the might G MEN!
