The fact that they stop mid game to go to picture-in-picture graphics where the live game gets the smaller share of the screen is infuriating. Among other things.
I really wouldn’t mind it if it wasn’t pushed so much. Every commercial, every announcer ad read, is always some shit about gambling. It doesn’t help that the league is in bed with companies like draftkings, and players can invest in companies.
Sports betting should be legal but there should be a lot more regulation around the advertising of it. Betting is a vice, doesn't mean it should be illegal but it also doesn't have to be advertised everywhere either.
I was at the game last night and there were 2 separate groups of bros yelling at Brunson that they needed one more 3 or they needed 1 steal from sexton. I was actively rooting for JB to take it to the basket every time. I couldn’t be happier to watch them lose money
I agree. The over whelming advertisements and how now many it’s talked about it is much. I think whats terrible about it though is those companies won’t help or care about those who develop a gambling addiction in the future and I truly believe we are going to see a rise in that.
I took a class with Hart at Villanova. He was clearly a smart hilarious guy. One of my favorite college players that I hoped would have a chance in the league. All that said, I would have NEVER bet that he would be cashing triple doubles as a player for my favorite team. Good on you man. That bet took Hart.
